And as much as I don't understand their celebrity status, the Kardashians are one good-looking family. Even if each individual isn't drop-dead gorgeous, together they are a stunning group of people. But is "literally" the only descriptive word that Kim knows?

They were already a good looking family before all the plastic surgery and botox and fillers and lasers. That's what is so sad. It wasn't good enough for them. They were fun to watch.. even Kim sometimes. Now I find her detestable, along with her mother.  

 

Being adopted by a rich and famous American doesn't guarantee a better life regardless of your beginnings. Look at Joan Crawford's daughter.

 

Just how serious is she about adopting, lounging around on the couch while her "executive assistant/ selfie taker/ paid companion and gofer" does research on the internet, probably they just finished the morning round of selfie pics and were waiting for sunset to get the "wet shots" and had a few minutes of time to kill.  GMAB, the kid would meet the same fate as Mercy, and be farmed out to her assistant after having been worked over by Kim's glam squad, made camera ready for her step and repeats and garnered all the favorable press Kim can milk off her.

That bodyguard was not only there for Kendall. He is Kim's personal bodyguard and he works for the rest of the family as well. He was recently in Ibiza with the rest of the other bodyguards when Kris, Kim, and Kendall were there. Kendall was with Brody, Khloe, and Brandon(and all of the camera crew). That scene was a total set up and scripted to add drama to the episode. Anyone with eyes can see that. We all know the show is scripted. So I can't be bothered getting that worked up about it.

 

I'm amused when I see Kendall getting a hard time for doing what almost everyone did at the same age. I've never met a teenager who was a  saint. Most people in their late teens did not wait until they turned 21 to begin drinking in the US. I know I didn't and I turned out pretty darn well. The vast majority of places in the world the drinking age is 16-18 years of age. I have no problem with Kendall drinking a glass of wine or a glass of champagne on occasion while in the company of her family or agents.

 

She will be 19 in about 80 days and seems to have a good head on her shoulders compared to most teens her age. She's hard working, relatively responsible, and learning to be more independent. For the most part Kendall acts her age and is pretty low key in her down time. I've never seen her falling out of clubs drunk, getting a DUI, missing work, acting a plum fool in public, or doing anything else untoward. I'll wait to crucify Kendall and Kylie when they actually do something to be crucified for.

Bruce and Kris are not together but they are still pretending to be close friends to satisfy the younger girls(and because a divorce would be too costly and complicated). Bruce was also invited to go on the vacation because Kris knows that Kendall and Kylie would want their father to go on the family vacation. Plus Bruce is contracted to do the show until season 10 is over.

Kendall shouldn't have even been allowed in the bar area to begin with.  That's the law in the US, she should abide by it in Thailand.  If the drinking age is 20 in Thailand, she shouldn't have bellied up to the bar.  Period.

Rob was never an integral part of the show.  He went to Business School.  He should have pursue law school - if that's what he really wanted to do.  Can't just blame everything on his upbringing and environment as the excuse.  There are others in that situation who have gone on to create their identities, their own successes.  The problem is that Rob is neither driven or is that intelligent.

 

 

Rob's family has always said that he was very lazy and wanted everyone to do everything for him. It is obvious that Rob is one of those kind of people who are lazy and don't have any ambition. The type of people are the first to complain about how their lives suck and how they hate being unsuccessful but refuse to get off their butts to make things happen. Rob has been blessed with coming from a family with a boat load of connections which he could have easily parlayed into a successful career in law or business if he had any amount of ambition, grit,  and determination. Rob wants to be successful without working for it because he would rather be out drinking and partying instead. This is why I have never felt sympathy for him.

I didn't see much enthusiasm from the girls about Bruce and Kris going on vacation together. The girls even remarked that they were arguing just making plans for the trip. They certainly aren't fooling the girls by pretending to be great friends, they don't even like the same things or have the same goals or ideals. They only thing they have in common is the girls. And they even disagree about them.

I can not get over the awful choices of outfits these people chose to wear on a beach vacation. Did Kim and Kris get confused and think they were still in Paris? Who the hell wears long black dresses liked that on a beach resort style holiday? All day, every day Kim and Kris. I bet Kanye picked out Kim's clothing for the trip. I read somewhere he chooses all of her outfits.  Khloe's plaid shirts, yeah, that says easy breezy beachy all day long. That horrible skin tight brown maxi dress Kim wore the day they went back to the orphanage, so out of place. I'm sure it was all expensive designer crap, but all of us commoners know you could go to Ann Taylor or even JC Penney and buy a dozen adorable sun dresses, hats, skirts and sandals and look so much better than that!  Also I'm about over Brody with the caps, overgrown hair and the nasty beard. He looks like a long haul truck driver. (No offense, truck drivers, my husband wears those caps and I snatch them off his head every chance I get)! Show that freakin' gorgeous face, Brody!!!

That is fine if her parents want to allow her to drink underage, as long as it is in the privacy of their home.  I went to bars before I was of age also, and I was hauled out of the bar by the ATF at the age of 20.  There are a lot of countries where the drinking age is 16-18 but Thailand is not one of them, their drinking age is 20.  IMO, she had no business being televised sitting at a bar drinking wine at the age of 18.  It is then condoning breaking the laws of another country.

I never understand it when people bash celebrities or anyone adopting children from orphanages.  As long as the children aren't being abused in any way, they will have much better lives than aging out of an orphanage and never having a family.  Being adopted by someone well off means they will have a family, opportunities and a support system for the rest of their lives.  I can't imagine a child would choose being poor and struggling over a life of luxury and opportunity.

Of all the episodes that I've seen of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, this one REALLY made me sick. What a bunch of bullshit they all are. This is such crap. Their trips are paid for by the network. They all cry and stress about 'poor Rob' but don't really do much else than that. It's all fake dramatics for the viewers who buy into their shallowness. And Kim wanting to adopt 'Pink' is ludicrous. The Kardashians can afford a lot more than some token gifts, and by the way, whatever happened to the pool Kris said they were donating so the kids don't have to splash around in a disease infested river? Kim made all these humanitarian overtures of pretense of wanting to 'adopt' poor little Pink because they just 'bonded' with each other. Oh PUKE! She hasn't ever had a single humanitarian thought in her senseless, greedy brain. All the Kardashians are just publicity seeking narcissistic whores and not worth two cents to humanity.

She didn't even know the kid's name till AFTER the big handprint thing and saw it on the wall, she thought the girl was writing the color of the handprint not her name.

You would never be able to get out of the circle LOL I thought Bruce was being ridiculous with his "get it out of the house" crap. Yeah, you've got teenagers, but you don't seem to have a problem with them going out & partying with older rappers who I am sure, are very familiar with marijuana, medical or not. I wonder if Kourtney really expected Khloe to pay her $25,000.00 or if that was for the show? Probably for the show. Scott is a really sloppy, obnoxious drunk. No wonder Kourtney kicked him out. I just hated that whole scene of Kris and her mom smoking because I fear the way it was shown would deter more legalizing for people who need MM. To me, it was that badly acted. It felt like it was being acted. Which it probably was- at least on the end of Kris and possibly her mom. I haven't seen enough of MJ to know if she's as into the fame game as her family. But it felt so over the top fake. Thats why it bugged me.

In her mind, I think marriage to Kanye puts her on some level with JZ and Beyonce and gives her some sort of "respectability" and makes her part of a world she previously did not have access too. She would never, ever, have gotten the Vogue cover without Kanye.  And he is an "artist". 

 

I think the guy is a jerk, have thought so ever since he jumped on stage and interrupted Taylor Swift (and I had no clue who he was).  But I think in the collective Kardashian eyes, they have hit the jackpot with Kanye. I believe Kim really thinks she is royalty now. 

 

However, I also think she thinks she is above the show now.   And I bet Kanye tells her that at every opportunity.

Bruce was right, but again he's about 10 yrs too late. Not only that he doesn't even live there anymore, so his macho posturing is pitiful, even the old lady disrespected him. That said, the storyline was ridiculous and if anything showed how little oversight there is in the MM business. Oh my poor neck hurts everyday at 5 pm! I found this ep a bit distasteful. When they were talking about MJ needing pain relief for her back and needing to eat more, I thought of my dad and was honestly seeing if the MM brought her some relief and was considering investigating MM as a viable option. Instead we got Porky's 5: How I Spent My Reverse Mortgage. What the hell was that? I don't want to see Kris get high with her mother. I'd almost rather have A Very Special Episode of the Kardashians in which the Jenner girls get busted for eating all of grandma MJ's gummy stash - THAT would be funny.

I have to admit that I was not at all amused by Scott's antics. Scott has a bona fide drinking problem and the people around him seem only to enable him - including Khloe. I guess she is well practiced with her crackhead ex husband and stoned pillsbury doughboy brother. Again, another opportunity for A Very Special Episode of the Kardashians in which Scott and Kylie get piss drunk and Kylie learns that it's not cool to binge drink and Scott learns that he hooked up with the wrong sister.

One thing that struck me, and honestly parents should watch this show with their children to point this out, for all their money and beauty and excess, they are very bored, empty people. Kris has three grandchildren under the age of 5 but she just wants to get stoned? She has a school-aged daughter that is 17 going on 37, but she'd rather relive her 20's for the fifth time over. Khloe is bored to the point of insanity. Rob is slowly killing himself. Even Kourtney is looking dead inside. The only ones who seem quasi happy are Kim and Kendall, and that's because they occupy all their time looking at themselves and being photographed so that others can look at them. So much and yet these people, at the end of the day, have nothing. And I would forgive every shallow moment if even one of them put in actual time and money into helping others. Not lip service, actual involvement in something substantial. Oh well, they are the true product of our times.

Ok I am starting to get offended at how stupid whoever thinks of these storylines thinks we are. We are supposed to believe Kourtney charged Khloe $25,000 to go shopping with her. Ok...

Also I think Scott is so disgusting when he's drunk I can barely watch him. He is a father of 2 with another on the way. Kourtney's one lucky lady!

He gets sloppy drunk. But I'd still prefer that to having to deal with with Kanye's ego and rantings or Lamar's drugs/women.

I found this ep a bit distasteful. When they were talking about MJ needing pain relief for her back and needing to eat more, I thought of my dad and was honestly seeing if the MM brought her some relief and was considering investigating MM as a viable option. Instead we got Porky's 5: How I Spent My Reverse Mortgage. What the hell was that? I don't want to see Kris get high with her mother. This. Is why I vastly prefer Brody and Brandon. I'm sure they don't have to worry about money, but I also don't see them as caught up in the trappings of wealth and privilege to the degree that the Kardashian klan is. They seem much more appreciative of what they have and don't have the craven need to get more more more.

It's really not that big of a deal in California. As long as she's not reselling what she purchases or growing more than the allotted number of plants in her home, no one is interested.

I think the way it was shown, the ease of getting a prescription, and the cavalier attitude towards sharing it (though they covered themselves by revealing MJ had her own prescription) can't be the way CA wants the use of MM portrayed.

Kris looks more than healthy, constant traveling and appearances on TV, not the persona the pro MM people use as exhibits for the need. It certainly makes me think twice about wanting it here in NJ.
