Eric and all his family patriarch is ok with Ridge talking to her like that? As much as I'd enjoy Carter punching out Ridge, what I need is for Brooke to completely lose it on Ridge and for Eric to side with her. We all know Steffy's just nodding her head in agreement but I'd love for her to have her own realization that she'd never want Kelly or Beth to be called a bitch and she'd then tell of her dad too. But Brooke, Hope and Eric telling off Ridge and Steffy would be cool too and a bonus of Ridge getting punched out :):) 5 Link to comment

It's been forgotten by time, but Bill Jr was the forgotten bastard son of Bill Sr who to my recollection was left out of living in the lap of luxury until the old man croaked and left him the business w the caveat of taking Eric down because Bill Sr lived Stephanie. Or something. It was a quick thrown together excuse to give Don Diamont a job after Brad's sister-in-law killed his character on Y&R and frankly, their loss was our gain. 18 hours ago, Foghorn Leghorn said: Why was Bill’s childhood supposedly so similar to Luna’s??! RuntheTable 5 hours ago Share 5 hours ago (edited) Ruh Roh And just like that Brooke was invisible. Ridge was like an angry bull seeing red, focused on releasing the pent up bile he has always carried for Hope, Brooke’s feeble pleas be damned. This is the perfect time for a full on Forrester, Marone, and Logan free for all, we are only missing Taylor to round out the cast. Instead, it looks like we will have Carter stepping up in defense of Hope, and once again I am pissed off. Let Hope stand up for herself, she is the one with the issues, I don’t want to watch her stand behind Carter. Talk about misogynistic writing; the little woman must let her big, brawny man defend her because she is just too dainty and delicate. UGH! This SL was supposed to be a bone to Hope supporters? It’s my opinion that Hope looks much worse than Steffy in this situation. Steffy fired Hope on what she saw; Hope could have fixed that, but she chose to remain silent. Regardless of why Steffy did it, she is at least owning it and hasn’t backed down and hasn’t hid behind anybody else. Hope OTOH, kinda played Carter. Once she found out about the LLC thing, she encouraged him to do it for himself, all the while knowing what it would mean for her. She also wanted to see Steffy brought down, and this way she could be in the kitchen and not feel the heat. I don’t think she counted on Ridge blaming her, which shows a crushing level of naivete. So, now she will stand there like a deer caught in headlights while Carter defends her. I take a hard, hard, pass on all of it. And since I am pissed off again, let me continue to the next topic. How is Forrester Creations Ridge and Steffy’s legacy? How about all those other children who have contributed. You remember them, don’t you Eric? Those bio kids of yours? Thorne, Felica, Kristen, Rick and Bridget? Eric can also miss me with all this wha whaaing about Carter and Quinn. Outside of the fact that you green lighted them to continue, is the fact that you have been a womanizer your whole life. You fell in and out of love with woman quicker than you changed your drawers. Beth, Brooke, Sheila, Lauren, all in very quick succession, always keeping Stephanie at arm’s length until you wanted to complain about your current wife. If Ridge and Steffy want this to fail, then all they have to do is resign. Steffy would be no big loss, but without a designer you can’t run a design house. I seriously doubt that Thomas would join forces, so that would leave Zende and RJ. I guess they could always bring back Sally!!!!! Edited 5 hours ago by RuntheTable 1 3 Link to comment

Out of sight, out of mind - at least with the writers, and they’re hoping viewers also forget those bio Forresters exist too! 4 Link to comment
CountryGirl 2 hours ago Share 2 hours ago There are no words for the ugliness of yesterday's episode. Fridge's misogyny knows no bounds. Brooke, are you listening??? For once in your life, stand up for your flesh and blood. If you don't do anything but gawp and make noises to Fridge, then I no longer have an effs to give you. I hope he adds insult to injury by reuniting with Drowned Beige Meerkat. I hope Hope lets him have it with both barrels. Like she did with Flo. Fridge, BTW, is my nickname for TK's Ridge that I thought I had retired but the contrast between Ronn's Ridge and TK's and it's more than just the writing speaks for itself. 2 1 Link to comment
backhometome 1 hour ago Share 1 hour ago Boo hoo, Hope. What did you think was going to happen. So, Brooke waits till they are alone to call Ridge out on his attack of Hope. Carter/Hope are gross as couple. Nothing is sexy about them. The background music tries too hard with them. Link to comment
TVForever 48 minutes ago Share 48 minutes ago Hmm. Someone please explain Brooke's actions to me. Because how does Ridge call her daughter a "nasty little bitch" and continue to live? How did she not go straight for his throat? 1 1 Link to comment

I am certain she didn't think Fridge would be thrilled but she did not deserve to be called a "nasty little bitch." That is not okay. Especially as Hope isn't the one who is responsible for any of this. This is on Carter and also on the co-CEOs for not really reading or questioning what they were signing. Putting the blame on Hope removes her agency and that of Carter. Which is another gross heaping helping of misogyny. Because grown-ass man Carter couldn't have possibly orchestrated this on his own. He needed the feminine wiles of a woman. Except he did do this all on his own. He is the one who drew up the papers and knew the ramifications. Hope didn't know until the papers were drawn up, Carter had signed as manager and the only actions were to get Steffy and Fridge to sign. Which, again, Carter got them to do all on his own as Hope wasn't even there. I think they are a bit rushed but so many pairings are on this soap and others so I'm shruggy guy about it. But they are not "gross." They are single, young and hot - why shouldn't they hook up? If I were Hope, I'd hook up with Carter in a nanosecond. The sexy sax of sexy (saxy?) times tries too hard with everyone. Edited 35 minutes ago by CountryGirl 1 Link to comment
