Let's say that Poppy is 6 years older than Finn, that would mean that she was 24 to his 18 when they had that fateful, one-time, sexual encounter, and thinking back, I didn't consider 24 to be too old when I was 18 - - Smuggi must think that 18-year-olds are pre-pubescent and only shoot blanks, otherwise Finn wouldn't have had to spell it out for her that he's Luna's daddy.

I’m still in the camp that Daphne isn’t sexy or even alluring, at all, without her accent and perfume.  

Once again I have to say to Stuffy, sleeping with your father-in-law and needing a paternity test to find out Bill wasn’t the father, is perfectly acceptable in the world according to Stuffy.  According to the world of Stuffy, Poppy took advantage of Finn a mere 18 year old.  Finn knew what he was doing and couldn’t be happier an “older” woman was his first. At 18 you can vote and go to war but he’s not mature enough for sex.  As far as being taken advantage of, didn’t Stuffy satisfy here sexual needs when she slept with Liam and Bill within her “ovulation cycle”?  Didn’t Stuffy sleep with Liam and Finn also within her “ovulation cycle”. I guess her birth control failed twice. Stuffy calls Hope a slut. I don’t think so. 

Finally Finn told Stuffy that he’s Luna’s father. Stuffy’s reaction is as expected 🤯🤯. Oh happy day. 

Why is Luna talking to Remy?  I would be surprised if she didn’t know who he really is. Is Luna that desperate for “male companionship to risk going back to jail?

I wish Luna would stop being so over the top remorseful. What? She’s actually whining about being bored and cracking murder jokes? I thought show would try to clean up the character’s image to make her more palatable as Saint Steffy’s stepdaughter.

Sheila, shut up. It’s not just Steffy keeping you separated from Finn. It’s also the bullet you fired into him. Cheer up, though, because you may finally have a grandchild you can spend time with.

Carter needs to think with his top brain about why LePew, supposedly a stranger to Forrester Creations, is all up in his personal and professional business. Their interactions aren’t sexy, unless you get off on anti-workplace sexual harassment training videos.

The unintentional comedy gold was plentiful today. 

We had Carter smelling Pepe LePew the moment she walked into the outdoor restaurant. 

We had Steffy's over the top stupidity. I mean, we all knew she wasn't exactly Mensa material, but she really took the stupid to new heights today.  That was some pretty basic math she was failing to even come close to figuring out. 

Then, we got JMW's bad telenovela reaction faces. TN was outacting her in those scenes. How she's won Emmys, I will never understand. 

Carter just sucks as a character. Let him fall in love with Pepe and ride off into the sunset.  Or borrow Rena Sofer from GH for a couple days, and have Quinn come back and explain why she left. Maybe she found out she had cancer, and she didn't want to stay in town and have him and Wyatt watch her die, but she's in remission now, and she still loves him. Then they can leave L.A. together.

She had a very little bit of interaction with him when he first came home. But it was pretty minimal, because Will was not happy about dad's new ready made family. 

I'm assuming her obsession with him now is because she sees being with him as the chance to still be a part of Bill's family.

Then Taylor started talking about Steffy and Finn's wedding, like it was something she bothered to show up for.

I have hardly been watching and still find myself in a prolonged rage blackout. 

Finn is an asshole. He is going to stand there and scream at Poppy that she raised a murderer and if he had been in Luna's life she would be ok? What? You arrogant prick. I think Poppy did you the biggest favor of your life. If she had told you that you were the father would you be where you are today? And just think of the fallout from that. Your entire family would probably have imploded. Sometimes people have to make tough choices. I'm sure Poppy would have preferred to have a father figure for Luna but chose not to lie to another man in order to achieve that. 

I see what you are doing Show, but it is not working for this viewer. You can have Luna and Bill having their daily pow wow's about how horrible Poppy was. You can have Finn screaming all manner of accusations. You can just keep demonizing Poppy all you want, but the fact remains that Luna is the one who killed two people and tried to frame her mother for it. Poppy may have been a misguided mom, she may have been a free spirit who experienced life her own way, but she is not evil, and she is not responsible for her daughter's actions. 

Which brings me to Steffy. The fuck? Girlfriend didn't wait a hot minute to start the pity party. Of course it is all about you sweetie. I mean, your husband is standing there with his glowing red eyes, telling you how he hasn't slept or ate because of his stress, and how do you respond? By asking him how much more you are expected to take, or something like that. What about him? Has your pea brain given one thought to what Finn is processing? 

And now we also have Steffy piling on Poppy. Did she actually call her a sociopath? Why, because she had sex with an eighteen year old? Seriously, watching Steffy stand there slack jawed at the thought was rich because you know.......um........Rick and um........Bill. No, they were not eighteen, but one was her uncle and the other was her father-in-law. So, on those facts Steffy can shut the fuck up about anyone else's sexual choices. 

I haven't watched any of Ridge and the wet dishrag. They make me want to hurl.

I like Deacon, but, I had to roll my eyes when he called Luna a homicidal psychopath.  Dude, do you not even remember who you're married to? If you can look past all of Sheila's crimes because you're in love with her, then you should be able to understand why Poppy wants to maintain a connection to her daughter. I know that Luna's crimes feel more personal to you, because her two victims were your friends, but Sheila's crimes were pretty freaking personal to Finn and Steffy, and I remember you trying to convince Finn to get past that and have some relationship with Sheila, so... 

Steffy was a lot today. Finn was saying he felt like, if he'd been there for Luna, she wouldn't have turned out like this. (And he's most likely right, since her crimes were tied up in her anger and confusion about who her father was). And she twists that into him saying he wants to spend time with Luna and thinks he can make a difference now. Then, she basically accuses him of passing crazy killer genes down to both Luna and Hayes. And, of course, Steffy is the biggest victim in all of this. For someone who is supposed to be this tough badass, she always defaults to victim mode. And she may have told Finn she's committed to staying with him, but it was clear from the look on her face at the end that she's going to be out the next time there's any mention of Luna. When Finn expresses concern, for example, that nobody knows where Luna is, she's going to be out. 

Hey, Beige?  When the hobo tells you that you saved him, what he means you saved him from is his dick being lonely while he's mad at Brooke. I don't want Brooke to take him back, by any means, but I am going to laugh when he eventually tries to get her back, and the dishrag ends up with her broken little heart again. Their entire conversation today, about how wonderful and happy they are and about how amazing Steffy's marriage is, was like a big old neon "none of this is going to be true for long" sign.

She ended up with Ryan. Josh did come back a time or two as Leo's ghost, but she ended up with Ryan. And they were one of the most annoyingly smug couples you could ever imagine. To put them in B&B terms, it would be like if Steffy was married to Steffy.

Thank you for reminding me why I couldn't stand Buddig so much on AMC.  It wasn't just Greenlee the character -- it was really Buddig too.  That damn smugness!  Yech.  And now that she's got Ridge & she's endlessly smiling her head off, that damn smugness is back in full force!  Well, we'll see how long it'll take Ridge to be bored outta his mind as a dishrag-o-sexual  I'm waitin' for the smug to be thankfully wiped off Buddig's mug, when he dumps her.

When Steffy told Taylor that it wasn't about Hayes or Kelly, but it is about children, Taylor was probably thinking "do I need to buy you another black market baby?"  

Then when Steffy was dribbling the information out a little at a time, you know there was a point where Taylor was thinking that Finn cheated and has an affair baby. 

I was half expecting Liam to wander in when Finn was hugging Luna, so he could go running to Steffy just like he did when he saw him hugging Sheila.

Can we maybe force the writers to rewatch the shit they've already written in the past? 

Example 1 - When Taylor was so horrified "I know she isn't biologically related, but, still, she's his aunt," again, I feel a need to remind the characters that Steffy had sex with her not biologically related uncle. 

Example 2 - Everyone acting like Hope drove all of this. Now she "brainwashed Carter"?? Carter pursued her. Carter pushed for them to be intimate ASAP instead of taking things slow. Carter vowed to fix everything when she was fired. Carter came up with the plan to take over the company. Carter executed that plan. And now Carter runs FC. Not to mention, he's clearly already feeling himself with Pepe LePew's flirtations. He is not even remotely close to being Hope's victim.

I long for the days when Hope used to have some taste….. that dress she has been wearing for the last two days is so unflattering…. perhaps if it were longer and had a straight bottom rather than the flounce…. but it’s awful. And in my opinion, nobody looks good in short sleeves on a dress..

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Carter is a shitty character, especially as a romantic character. Pepe LePew didn't have to put very much effort into turning his head and getting that kiss. And I suspect that, now, it won't be much longer before he's all in with the asshole cabal in believing Hope drove everything, and he was just some poor patsy she took for a ride.

It can't be a coincidence that the cracks are showing in Hope/Carter at the same time they're showing in Steffy/Finn. Hope/Finn was clearly their intention at one point last year, but they backed away. I suspect they're circling back around to them now. 

Steffy and Taylor sucked today. Acting like this is something Finn has done to Steffy. What happened to poor Finn who was taken advantage of by Poppy?  Now, Steffy has one conversation with her mother, and it's all about how dare Finn do this to Steffy, and how does he expect her to handle it?  At this point, we're just waiting for someone to call time of death on that marriage. 

Where is Brooke?  Has she taken to her bed to grieve the loss of her hobo?  Or did they decide that they didn't want to go too far in having her shit on her daughter, but, it's time for everyone at FC to shit all over Hope, so Brooke will just be not there?  

From the previews, Hope, no. Don't fight Pepe off. Let her have him.

So when Poppy and Luna came to town, they seemed like a loving mother/Daughter. Now, Poppy was an evil mom and that caused Luna to turn to murder? Really writers? Pssst if you want to keep an actress around, don't make her character into a murderer! It's pretty simple. I have no idea what this storyline is supposed to be! Like what is Bill doing? Make it make sense.

Hope made Carter take over Forrester? Really writers? FFS! We all saw Carter making these plans for Forrester and now we are supposed to believe it was all Hope's idea? I loved Carter and Quinn but aside from that pairing, the character sucks. Who would ever be falling for Daphne's nonsense? She isn't remotely believable as some kind of temptress. I mean come on. Make it make sense.

Brooke is still begging that hobo for attention? After he ran off with Taylor for the billionth time? Really writers? Current Taylor is the most boring Taylor and I didn't think it was possible to make Taylor even less interesting but these writers have managed it. At least the prior Taylor had fire chemistry with Brooke!

How is Luna even out of prison? How does this make any damn sense? She murdered two people and hasn't ever denied it! Also, how has Katie not been nosing around to find out about this nonsense? Also also, what happened to the whole Bill and Katie re-up after she broke up with Carter? I'm not a fan of the pairing anymore but just saying we went from emotional 'my Katie' scenes to whatever this junk is with Luna.

Congrats to all who guessed Finn was Luna's father. Hilarious. But naturally Steffy is on brand with her reaction because she is just the worst. Everything is about her - gotta love that Finn being Luna's dad is somehow something Finn did to Steffy. What?!?

Carter used to be the smart/loyal/little bit sexy guy.  When the character started writing for himself things took a definite turn for the weird.  First the sexy amped up.  Ok, not a bad thing.  Then he started being conflicted over every darn thing, usually centering around a "wrong" woman.  Why?  Why not lust after someone who was available and conflict free?  I think it was so he could make his "pained" face which he does a lot of the time.

Now he's also stupid.  Or, is he?  Does he really think the perfume goddess is into him and worth listening to?  Or, is he playing her along?  The way things have been going, I'd bet on the stupid.

Maybe it would be for the best if he either quit playing Carter or quit writing the show.  Doing both hasn't done anyone any favors.

Yep. Anyone with a few braincells would have thought to question why she feels so confident she can broker a deal between him and the Forresters. Put that together with her having shown up out of the blue offering to work with them, Steffy coming back to the office right after, and the way she's been coming onto him and talking to him about the takeover, and it should paint a pretty clear picture. But Carter no longer thinks with his brain if there's a woman within a country mile.

Hope/Finn is the same as Hope/Thomas correct? They are stepsiblings I think? Ridge and Brooke weren't married at the time of Hope/Thomas but they have been in the past (and maybe were raised together for awhile?) and Hope/Finn are currently stepsiblings. Were Bill and Brooke also married at one time? I've only been watching for a few years (Wyatt and Katie caught my eye at the gym back in the day). So between Liam, Thomas and Finn really Hope only wants to be in relationships with her stepbrothers? At least Carter is a different relationship--although he was involved with her aunt and stepgrandmother so...soap operas are so weird.

For me, the difference with the three Hope relationships (and we don’t know if Hope/Finn will have a romantic relationship) is that of the three guys, Hope only grew up interacting/knowing Thomas. Hope didn’t meet Liam, and especially Finn until she was an adult. So with these latter two guys, it’s not really as icky. Any ickyness is more due to having romances with brothers or potentially, a later in life stepbrother (Finn).

What is Finn’s malfunction?  He made it sound like Bill getting Luna and out of prison was a bad thing. True to form the monkeys with a keyboard didn’t allow Luna to explain why Bill got her out and got to put her under house arrest. 

Give me a break Daphne, you keep side eying Carter.  I guess you think that it makes you more alluring to Carter.  Maybe you can’t look him in the eye when you’re passing out the 🐂💩. 

Daphne came to FC knowing there was a take over but Carter is too dumb to ask why. Carter is also too dumb to see why she is advocating for the Foresters. The worse of all stupidity, by Carter,  is when Daphne mentions Hope with basically use words put into her mouth by Stuffy. 

As I expected, Stuffy’s head is going to be so full of naysayers that Stuffy won’t be able to take a shit without condemning Finn.

Hope was with Liam well before Brooke and Bill ever got together. And, timing wise, Liam and Hope weren't together when Bill was married to Brooke. (I don't think Hope was even in L.A. when Brooke and Bill were married.) Liam was with Steffy when Brooke and Bill were married. Then Brooke and Bill divorced (over his obsession with that stupid building), and then Steffy slept with Bill after he and Brooke split.  As for Finn, I doubt he and Hope even consider each other step siblings.  Neither of them was raised by their married parents. And while Hope is close to Deacon now, Sheila is not a part of Finn's life. Now, Thomas, yes, they grew up together. But, Thomas went after her for years before she finally returned his interest. 

I think B&B is worse about this kind of thing than most soaps because, being a half hour soap, the canvas is even more limited, so characters who are around for longer than a few years end up sleeping with everyone in their general age range who they aren't biologically related to. That's probably why they toss Carter at everyone. He's not biologically related to anyone on canvas, so they can put him with anyone. It, of course, doesn't do the character any favors, because he looks like a fickle horndog most of the time.

And I'm still pissy about her villainizing her mother. When we first met Luna, all she did was wax on about how tight she & Poppy were as it was "them against the world" her whole life, mainly due to how Li ostracized Poppy (and treated both Luna and Poppy like shit once she ran into them again, further strengthening their bond). Then, suddenly, Poppy has "a drug problem" with her "mints" to bolster the "Luna blacks out & bangs an unsuspecting Zende" storyline. THEN Poppy is a man-crazed junkie with a turnstile installed at the foot of her bed 🙄 and now all Luna can do is bitch about how much her mother failed her for her entire life ... which is, of course, the ONLY reason she snapped and murdered two whole-assed men.

Of course, Bill dumps Poppy for pretty much no reason, except perhaps for wanting to rekindle [/gestures widely] SOMETHING yet again with weepy-assed Katie. I feel like until they most likely kill her off, Poppy will be the Sharon Collins Newman Abbott Newman Newman Newman McAvoy Rosales of B&B.
