Hope got faking passion down pat but her fake kissing needs work. Is it lack of chemistry as to why it looks like Hope is kissing her brother.

Does Stuffy even realize that the HFTF decline a reflection of Thomas’s designs.  Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t believe that  Z’s and RJ’s designs have been showcased. Maybe in print but a runway show or live photo shoot  is where buyers get a 3d visual.

How can Hope fall for a guy whose breasts are bigger than hers.

How I detest those scenes of two people having a conversation that corresponds almost perfectly with what two other characters in an entirely different scene are doing. We’re not dumb. We don’t need the way too on the nose blather. It’s not cute, funny or how actual humans talk. Deacon and Brooke could have had a real conversation instead of whatever the hell that was.

Ah, Ridge and Steffy. What a beautiful father/daughter moment, shooting the breeze while huffing each other’s rose-scented couture farts. Yes, if you say it’s just business and that you’d love it if Hope succeeds enough times, the audience will totally believe you. I’m not a high-powered CEO or anything, but is losing one buyer reason to have an existential crisis over HFTF? How does FC not make enough money to carry a couple of underperforming lines for a while?

Ease up on the thirst there, Carter.

I agree with Carter 100% in keeping HFTF.  HFTF appeals to the younger generation which could mean future contour business.

So nice to see Ivy again.  Ivy is the polar opposite of Stuffy. Ivy is a positive person while Stuffy is a Debbie Downer.

Once again that fantastic Co-CEO can’t see the forest for the trees because of personal animus.

A jewelry line would be beneficial to FC as was Quinn’s jewelry line.

It looks like Electra has been added to give Will a love interest.

So unprofessional. Who springs the acquisition of a new line on a CEO? And wouldn't Steffy need to discuss the situation with Ridge first? If they have resources to hire Ivy and Electra, they can sink more money into HFTF. I also thought that at one time, Forrester had a board or directors.

So all Carter has to do is make puppy-dog eyes and Steffy and she'll cave.

When Steffy introduced Carter to Electra as Forrester's CEO, did anybody catch Steffy mutter "for now," under her breath?

This might be way out there, but I have read some spumors on less-reliable sites, that LSV was being considered for the new CBS soap, "The Gates." IF that's true, maybe the writers are turning Carter into a stalker/predator who pursues Hope. The obsession causes him to make increasingly risky/poor business decisions. When it all comes to a head (pun intended! 😉) Carter will be fired from FC and leave LA?

Otherwise, I don't get Carter's sudden very intense attraction to Hope. First, he oversold HFTF and now, he's reviving a jewelry line with no real authority. These rash actions make no sense and are OOC.

I read the same spumors, and agree one way or another LSV will say goodbye. Either that, or he does double duty like Wally Kurth (Days/GH).

The only thing I took from all that was that Steffy does not trust Ivy. How rich is that? I would suspect Ivy still has scars on her back in the shape of an electrical panel. Or could the mistrust be over that video Ivy had showing you clocking your cousin upside her head with a tire iron and not knowing if Ivy would disclose it? Well, I don't see how that is on Ivy, she was just a witness.

I am good with Hope putting the brakes on sex with Carter. I am down for them as a couple, but shit has been moving at lightning speed. And that is not just about Carter either; Hope has been careening off course for a while now.

So, Liam is alone. Enter Ivy. I never got into them as a couple, but I do like Ivy, and I am glad to see her back.

All these people like Ivy, Carter, Logan's, Hope and Zende need to walk out and forge a new company.  We need another competing fashion house.

Steffy just sit as queen letting who is with Liam or who is with her brother make decisions.

She's insulted? Steffy outright said she and ivy have a past when speaking.

Why does Stuffy give 💩💩 about Ivy throwing herself at Liam.  As with Finn, Stuffy is Liam’s attack dog?

All I can say is that wonderful executive Stuffy has no business being in a position of power when everything she does is based on personal feelings.  Now Carter is on her 💩 list because he is no longer her hit man.  Off with his head!

It was so obvious Electra was to become a love interest for Will but I didn’t expect love at first sight.  There eye contact was so contrived it was comical.

Hmm ... This can go several ways. Is Carter attempting a coup? Or ... He flat out gets fired for being insubordinate at FC. So ... He gets frustrated and leaves FC to start his own company, thus making a graceful exit to the new soap.

Steffy is just a hateful bitch. Wait until Carter tries to rally Eric and Ridge against her. And, good for Brooke for standing up for herself as an FC executive and insist that Steffy spill about what she had a stick up her ass about. Spiteful? How I wish the tables would turn and Eric and Ridge would fire Steffy.

I really wish that this whole Carter being fired up about expanding the business and fed up with Steffy's personal grievance executive style would have come before his interest in Hope. I would like to be encouraged by the fact that they've actually had multiple characters now outright saying that Steffy is, to the detriment of the company, basing her decisions on her personal issues, but I fear that it's going to all boil down to "Carter is just doing this to get into Hope's pants," and Princess SuperBitch will reign supreme once more. Please prove me wrong, show.  (BTW, if we're really going to do a story about her letting her personal shit affect the company, someone has to point out that HFTF is doing poorly because she practically flew their lead designer out of town on her broom herself, just to fuck with his personal relationship with her nemesis.)

I want to see Steffy bitching to Finn about Carter bringing Ivy in, and then him asking her why she doesn't like her cousin.  Let's see him react to her getting angry and blowing off even the possibility of considering the proposal because of her old rivalry with Ivy over Liam.  That should be ancient history if she's so happy and content in her marriage to Finn.

I was drowning in the cheese that was Will/Electra.

I don’t need a giant block of cheese right after lunch, thank you. Will and his gleaming chompers beaming at Electra while she flirtatiously fixes her hair provided enough cheese to cover the state of California end to end.

Where does Carter think he works, with his new ideas and wanting to operate a business like a business instead of a trifling, petty ass monarchy? Hope and Ivy should strike out on their own, honestly.

This would be such a good story.  Eric Forrester's niece and Ridge Forrester's stepdaughter striking out to create their own company would create such a buzz in the B&B fashion world. It would also be reason to bring back some characters who are off canvas.  Thorne could come back to town to work with them. Wyatt could sign on to do PR for the company.  They could recast Rick and bring him on board. If you really want to see Steffy's head explode, have Thomas and Paris jump ship to work with Hope and Ivy.  (You'd have to establish that both Hope and Thomas legitimately meant it when they wished each other well before he left town after his engagement announcement. He would simply be coming to work with her because the two of them were a successful working partnership).

The funniest thing about this situation is that Ivy and Electra are true Foresters while Stuffy is a pseudo Forester but she’s the boss.

I really don’t understand how FC stays in business. Their C-Suite payroll + Eric’s compensation must be exorbitant alone.   You have many employees to compensate just with the bed bedroom line and couture. The bedroom line is fairly resent but when was new dresses added to the couture line. I’m sure it is getting a little passé by now.  In my opinion, as a former CFO, companies that don’t innovate, become stagnant and usually start to fail in its entirety.

What happened to all of the HFTF profits with it being a major success for quite a while?  Did everyone get a big bonus instead of using it for a rainy day?

Every time I see Will, I see his father. Not Bill but his real life father, Josh Morrow, who plays Nick on Y&R.

I wonder is LSV has been involved in the scriptwriting lately. That could also explain the drastic change in Carter's behavior.

I hate to see Carter waste his passion and vision on FC, where his every idea will be discounted and dismissed by Steffy and Ridge.  Their arrogance and lack of vision have no limits. Carter needs to start his own company. Get Bill to finance it and expand so rapidly and achieve market domination overnight, so they end up in an M&A with FC. The first order of business would be to fire Steffy and Ridge and install Brooke as the new COO. Of course, it truly can happen overnight in B&B world!

If they want Will and Electra to be this big new young love story, maybe they shouldn't have had him horn-dogging over every single woman who works at FC that he isn't related to from the moment he walked into FC until about five minutes before he met her.

Carter is definitely wasting that passion and drive working under Princess SuperBitch. I can't wait to see the tantrum she throws when Eric pops in to push for Ivy's line.

I love how Steffy acts mortally offended that anyone doesn’t support her non-vision 100%. She just radiates incredulity that there are people who think differently than her. Oh, Carter has his own feelings about Hope’s line? Well, his judgment must obviously be questioned. Steffy seems like she might want to hand Carter a pink slip for failing to be her yes man. Even she admitted that the jewelry line was successful, but her petty resentment of Ivy is more important to her. Maybe show Steffy being good at her job instead of having every other character parrot praise for her non-existent leadership.

Slack Jawed as defined by RTT:

When a presumptuous underling dares to propose forward, creative thinking, to a grudge bearing, short sighted CEO.

Also, because it cannot be said enough; Steffy is horrible. She is horrible at everything. She is a horrible wife. She is a horrible sister. She is a horrible leader. She is just horrible. Period.

I may be at the table alone, but Will is growing on me. How refreshing to see a young person acting like a young person. I think he is cute as a button.

Electra is also cute as a button, but man, she is a pretty bad actress.

Did I not see a board meeting where Brooke was named CO-CEO?

Back to Carter, who I now have so much concern for. Steffy doesn’t play when she isn’t getting her way. Just ask Ally or Ivy. Please Carter, don’t get on a boat or go near the water because sharks can attack at any time:

Steffy needs to be removed as co-CEO of FC ASAP. She is too immature, petty, spiteful, vindictive, and just a outright bitch to hold that position. What leadership experience does she have anyway? My recollection was that she was away at boarding school, and inexplicably, Ridge summoned her to home to join FC. I think she started working in the mailroom with Marcus, then was a PR intern under Katie. How does that qualify her to suddenly leap to the CEO position. Other than being a nepo baby? Even learning the ropes through exposure to all aspects of the company to reach the level of competence she would need, that would take years. Many years.

So either this sudden beefed-up SL for Carter is leading to writing LSV out to go to the new soap or it's a concession to keep him at B&B by giving him a juicier new SL. Honestly, for the actor, I would rather see him leave if it means giving him a leading SL on a different show. He has the talent and deserves the opportunity. I am afraid that the new "Alpha Carter" will be short-lived. It may gather a feeble head of steam for several months, but I can envision the writing digressing to having Carter around for no other purposes then to be Steffy's yes-man, officiating weddings, and handing out divorce papers.

I don't understand this writing. They could still have Steffy be a resentful superbitch "Yeah, your line is great and will be a huge success for us, but don't think this means you don't need to watch out the next time you pass an electrical panel."

Liam is still on my shit list and all, but I'd pay to see Steffy overhear him saying that nobody at FC is as beautiful as Hope.

Again, I want to enjoy Carter so passionately spelling out how Steffy is letting her personal issues affect the company, but I think we can all see the writing on the wall. She's going to find out about him and Hope, and then she'll be able to reclaim the high ground and rip him for allowing his feelings for Hope to affect his performance as COO.  I'm guessing she'll fire him when she eventually finds out. This is now seeming, to me, like it's a hastily written departure story for Carter (no spoiler on that, just a wild guess).  That's why we didn't get any buildup to him having feelings for Hope.

What's with Steffy's jacket? One episode, she's wearing it like a cape. The next, she's wearing it like a normal jacket, then the next, it's back to a cape. And this is all while they've been in the same meeting across those three episodes.

For whatever reason, it feels like the show has decided to step back from the stories they were writing for the Hope/Liam/Steffy/Finn grouping, and now we're going to go right back to Lope after they wrap up whatever they're doing with Carter. And Sinn will stay together as the smug, one-sided, emotionally abusive relationship we're all apparently supposed to aspire to.

Oh my heavens! That just had me laughing. Talk about Hope turning into her mom? Well, this would be more about that than any man stealing stuff. I mean, Brooke wrote the book on office sex:

And just when I was like "holy hell Carter, you man beast, go on and get down on it" in walks the Office Sex Queen. Brooke will probably tell Ridge to remove the steam room and to decommission the service elevator.

These were my thoughts exactly; my hope is it's the latter option. I would be on board for a more forceful Carter. And I would be peeing my pants with glee if that forceful Carter cracks Steffy's fucking face.

Among many other things, I just hate that Steffy is so DULL in her pettiness. You had your bitch on wheel types in the past like Jill Abbott and Diane on Y&R but they were fun to watch, even if you didn't root for them necessarily.

But Steffy just has no joy in ANYTHING she does and even when she gets everything she wants, she's not happy. If Brooke had gotten with Deacon and he hadn't been married to her stepdaughter, Stephanie would not have cared less about getting involved, as one example,  but even there you felt that her motivation wasnt just spite over Brooke but genuine concern for Bridget's well being and protecting her and a then unborn Hope even  was more important than slut shaming.

But Steffy has none of that. At all. I don't think she's a complete sociopath like Phyllis Summers who left her son to hang to side with the rapist who got herself pregnant against his will, but I certainly could see her Logan Derangement Syndrome taking over at the expense of her own children. Wouldn't it be a nice change if Kelly breaks the cycle with Beth and they have an actual close relationship (or at least fights over anything else other than a Temu version of their worthless father and grandfather)?

Has a character named Electra (such a soap name) been mentioned in the past, or is she completely new?

She is completely new and so is her father John Forrester Jr.  I guess they had to create a brand new brother for Ivy in order for Electra to have the Forrester last name since Jessica's children probably wouldn't have the Forrester last name.

I'd like to know if John Jr. is Maggie's child...because that would explain why Electra doesn't have an Australian accent and why she mentioned never haven seen a house like Eric's before.

I'm surprised FC didn't already have luxury accessories or cosmetics lines.  For the people who can't wear/afford couture, they can buy a handbag, a belt, perfume or a lipstick.

Is FC broke? They seem to be having financial woes.

Carter would be stupid to pour his money into Forrester Creations instead of his own company.

Guess there's no way they can get Susan Flannery back, but I was thinking an AI image of Stephanie LHAO at Brooke's "shocked" mug, walking in on Hope & Carter going at it would be quite fitting, eh?  Ah, but then again, Stefanie had absolutely zero sense of humor (as does NOBODY on this show!) & I don't ever remember seeing her ever laugh, let alone crack a smile, so never mind.

If Carter is leaving, then this probably is the beginning of his exit storyline (not spoiled at all, just wondering, given his abrupt changes). However, I think this is more likely to cause a wedge in Bridge, because Brooke knew & didn’t tell Ridge, who couldn’t warn Steffy, who should have all Logan info at all times. Dammit, Luna, you had 1 job.

Liam’s circle-back to Hope is baffling. He’s shown absolutely no interest in a year, now she’s the most beautiful at Forrester. Put Liam with Ivy for real, after giving her a Forrester jewelry line, & watch Steffy show her cards. She’ll give up millions of dollars before she gives up her hold on Liam.

IKR? Wasn't he so disgusted with Hope for kissing Thomas that he yelled in her face that he never should have left Steffy for Hope, or some such shit and it was his biggest mistake ever? And now he's pining for her?? I mean, the writers know we watch and remember this train wreck of a show, but yet, they just don't care. *sigh*

Narrow  minded clueless flip flopping couture designers can't see the forest for the trees.  What do women wear with their  ballgown, bridal gowns  etc?  They wear diamonds,  emeralds, sapphires,  rubies, surrounded by gold and platinum.   Earrings, necklaces bracelets and rings.  Designer shoes with red soles.  Fragrances.   Womens evening bags.  All of these are are more timeless than any of the rags Forrester hawks.  And all are designed to enhance and flatter the wearer.  The Forrester  family  would not be betraying the brand.  They are missing out on a huge Income boon.  But they are blind. Stuffy running this company is costing them money.  They are stagnant and missing a huge market.  She's the one underperforming and should be  fired.  How Eric  and Ridge are so blind about this is ridiculous.

Brooke should just be happy that Hope is not pursuing Finn anymore.  Besides Brooke, it’s non of your business. They are unattached consenting adults.

Why don’t they change Carter’s title from COO to CFO. They are both on the same level but the COO is administrative and the CFO is financial.

No Stuffy, Hope is not getting into Carter’s head. Hope is getting into Carter’s’ pants.

Once again Stuffy shows her true colors. Carter is the best thing since sliced bread as long as he agrees with Stuffy.  Yes men are counter productive to the well being of a company.  Yes, Stuffy we know Hope kissed your husband and you bring it up every chance you get but nobody and I mean nobody brings up that Stuffy went after Liam for years.  Stuffy is still holding a grudge for Ivy because of Liam.

This show rarely makes me laugh, but today, I almost spit out salad laughing.

Carter: “Today has been an interesting day.”

Brooke: “Yeah, the last thing I expected to see was you half-naked on top of my daughter in the office.” 🤣

Steffy is such an irredeemable, repugnant bitch, especially lately. How is she the heroine of the show, & when is someone going to knock her down?? I follow JMW on social media, & she honestly seems cool, I wish they’d infuse some of JMWs personality into like her like they have DD/$Bill. It’s hard to watch knowing she’s going to always win & always get what she wants, while no one can criticize her.

Speechless. Without speech. No, wait, I have a little.

How in the blue dilly fuck has Steffy not been sued yet? What a toxic horror.

Carter has a different opinion than Steffy, so something must be wrong. Hope must be leading him to ruin with her whore ways. Carter is Steffy’s friend and family, and Hope is very bad to play with Steffy’s toys. Carter cannot form thoughts, feelings or ideas independently; it’s the Logan succubus hypnotizing him for her own selfish gain. Steffy straight up threatened his job for speaking up against a toxic work environment and that just doesn’t fly anymore.

Brooke, speak up for your daughter when Steffy is tearing into her. If anyone spoke to my nieces that way, they’d need enamel sniffing dogs to find their teeth. That’s your kid, lady, being treated poorly and unprofessionally. Damn.

I guess we’ll maybe see Steffy’s face crack a little when she finds out about Ivy. How will our brilliant CEO efficiently bully two women in the workplace with only 8-10 hours in a day?
