Christine Brown Woolley: Nacho Sister Wife Anymore

When I look at Christine’s outfits over the past 12 months or so, I kind of feel that she is trying to discover her own style. She seems to be trying a huge array of different styles; from very revealing necklines (the disastrous black gown) to that old-fashioned and very modestly looking yellow and brown outfit a few posts back. Not to mention that tattoo that suddenly made its appearance.

It tells me that she is trying to figure it out but she is still all over the place. The fact that she lacks a sense of fashion doesn’t help either. I just wish she’d invest in a personal shopper or go somewhere with a good consultant to provide her with a basic wardrobe and items for special occasions.
In my opinion, Christine is a beautiful woman, but some of her choices completely undermine her beauty. (Well, in my opinion…)

I'm hoping the Black Dress was picked to showcase her tattoo.

I think Christine looks great in denim, the plaid shirts of earlier seasons.

One of the things I loved about the show, what pulled me in, was that they were shown more real imo. They're from the West, raised in Mormon culture. At the time, they layered. A little more modest than ladies in Texoma dressed, but close. Texoma gals wore a lot of thin cover ups.

I love that Janelle just shows her zoomed up plain face on lives, and that Christine is still being her authentic non filtered self, finding her way as she goes, enjoying her freedom, loving the kids and gkids.

All of this. She finally has the confidence to experiment but needs some guidance.

That dress, even in black, would never look that good on Christine!  Unless she got the body of a perfect 20 year old!

Those Stripper Fairy dresses don't look good on anyone over a size zero.

She needs to try harder.  And get some help from outside the fambly.

Christine needs to binge What not to Wear.  Even though the styles are not in now, there are general rules one can learn from it.  Might help her narrow down her personal style.

Remember those fashion "Dos and Don'ts" in Glamour magazine?  I haven't subscribed for many moons, but those were good to know.

Here's hoping Christine will figure out a great style for herself.

There are also some decent Youtube vids of the same sort of thing.  I love them!

Christine does look better than ever.  Happiness does that for you!

I thought of Christine! Her black dress had potential to look nice. But yikes the black dress was a fail.

Maybe she got it for free?

Ok so idk who this is but I feel like I should. The dress fits well and is very flattering of course, but I have to say I still do not like those arm band thingies.

Every person I know that has ever tried on a dress with them has said it’s a pain in the ass to try to dance or even lift your arms. I don’t know anyone who has ever actually bought one.

Oh well, party dresses/evening gowns/cocktail dresses/ bridal gowns are not meant to be comfortable and easy to wear. They’re designed to let you shine and make you look stunning. Which is why a good fit and the right style is so important.
I have this awesome silk fit and flare evening dress. It’s perfect in every way, as long as I don’t try to sit, dance or go to the bathroom😂. Needless to say I prefer my slightly simpler and more comfortable chiffon halter dress to party!

Kind of like a teenage rebellion - years of covering up and now free to do whatever she wants, so goes in opposite direction.  Maybe will swing back to middle of the road one day

A bit like a midlife crisis you mean? Like all those 50+ guys that suddenly buy motor bikes and start partying?

During summer, on my walks, I see those guys in convertibles, and they think they are all that, even if they're, shall we say, challenged appearance-wise.  It's amusing.

Shopping for a wedding dress June 30 or July 1 for a "summer wedding?"  Off the rack it is then.  Please let her at least have wide straps on this thing and not a super low V neck.

Please if there are straps, let them be shoulder straps, not arm ones.

I think Mykelti should be required to sing. Lol

What an odd outfit. It looks like it has pockets but you couldn't possibly put anything in there. That fabric is very tight and you'd see the outline of it. From one of her MLMs?

I don’t think it’s bad. The color is great on her. I’d have it a little less fitted but it’s not awful and it’s the way a lot of people fit their clothes. I don’t like an asymmetric top but she wears it ok and she either is wearing a strapless bra or it has a built in bra. I think she is miked so the neckline is a little off and I guess that means they’re filming?

Agreed, that color lights her up!  All but the pocket area.  It's so  tacky to have the outline of a  pocket so obviously showing out on such a nice jumpsuit.  I'd had it cut out and fixed by a professional.  My sarcastic partner in crime, @Orcinus orcais also correct, it's too tight for it to be of any real use.

Christine certainly is coming into her own.  Robyn looks positvely haggard next to her.  Christine's new life agrees with her.  🥳

What's Christine's rush to the alter?  She better slow her roll and make sure David's all that!

Seems like just yesterday she was good bying Most and now hello David.

It takes some time to find out everything about somebody's personality.

Probably a little too late for Christine to slow her roll since they already bought a house together.

Christine has the emotional maturity of a teen ager.  First kiss = trooo luvvvvv.

Plus she can get paid by TLC for filming the whole affair so she'd going full speed ahead.  And an added bonus for sticking it to Kootie on the teevee.

Christine found another man to cling to and scammed a million sympathetic leg humpers into buying MLM crap. I would be impressed if she went out and got a real job that doesn't involved MLM, and lived as an actual independent, self-sustaining single mother (with her own health insurance!) for a while. What she's doing right now is not impressive at all, and not really a step up from what Robyn is doing. They're all grifters. They're all living off their notoriety.

But yeah, the outfit looks okay. Better than the black dress she wore before.

Can't wait to see who makes the invite list for this.  Either Christine is going to have a very small weddingk (doubtful if it's on TLC's dime), or she is going to have to make some divisive family cuts.  Does she invite Meri?  Maybe, if she knows that Meri won't come anyway.  Does she invite Robyn, knowing that she won't come either?  What about Day'unAuroraBrianna?  If they remain somewhat close to Christine's kids, do they show up without their parents?  What about Leon and Audrey - if Paedon's going to be there, do they come?

No way Kody shows up unless there's money involved but I can't imagine Christine wanting him there.

I’m not saying this is what Christine is doing but I was 44 when I met my husband. We moved in within six months of dating and were married almost exactly 1 year after meeting. We had some particular reasons for marrying quickly (namely that replicating the legal benefits of marriage without actually getting married isn’t as simple as it sounds and requires reams and reams of legal documentation, plus there is a kid involved). But we are going strong and are planning to stay together until death parts us.

Sometimes, especially later in life, people find the one they are meant to be with and they just don’t want to wait. One of my favorite moves is When Harry Met Sally. Harry says it best “when you find the person you want to spend the rest of your life with, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”

Yes, it will definitely be interesting to see who she’s going to invite.
I suspect it will just be Janelle and her family with no invitations for Robyn’s clan and Meri. Don’t know about Audrey and Leon, iirc they were present at Logan’s wedding. I doubt Kody would show up, even if he were invited.

It will tell us exactly where they stand as a former family!

I might give her a pass except for her lying ("I am just starting to date, I need advice") immediately followed by her engagement.  And don't get me started on the published request for freebies for her wedding.

She glommed on to another famewhore and the two of them are milking it for all it's worth.  And she's a master at twisting the facts to make herself look better.  I can't stand users.

Why would she invite her ex "husband" to her wedding?  And why would he want to be invited, let alone attend.  He doesn't seem all that interested in seeing his "Not Robyn children" on a good day so maybe that wouldn't be a draw for him.  I would guess only if TLC is paying and makes it a requirement.

I completely forgot to mention the bit on TLC filming in my original post, but yes that is exactly what I was thinking! Why else would an ex attend? They have no business there after all.

And to elaborate on it a bit further: How much money would TLC have to offer for him to consider to attend? There’s not much he won’t do for fame and money after all! It would certainly make for interesting tv…

And how would Christine feel about it? Part of me thinks that she probably doesn’t care. She may even enjoy the thought of him sitting miserable through the ceremony!

I have seen former spouses attend the wedding of an ex when they share small children and they are there to kid-wrangle but that’s clearly not the case here. I have also known exes that ended up pretty good friends and attended each other’s wedding but I don’t think that Christine and Kody will ever be in that space.

Gwen has said she won't go anywhere that Paedon is, so for me the question is, which of them attends their mom's wedding? My guess is Gwen, since Paedon has said some odd things about David (that he wouldn't fight him, etc.)

As for Leon, my guess is Christine would invite them (and Audrey) but that they won't attend.

I see no reason why Meri would be invited, or Robyn/Kody and the 5 tenders.

I hope that if Christine's girls are bridesmaids, that she invites Savanah to be a bridesmaid as well. I could see Aspyn as her matron of honor, with Annie walking her down the aisle.

Imo, grifting aside, this is a love match.
