I've never posted but have liked some snarktastic comments before she deleted them. I can see her IG page now but in the past I think I was temporarily banned for liking something.

Meri never got along with Janelle or Christine.  The kids all adore Christine, and Janelle acknowledges her contribution to raising the kids.   Meri has always been difficult, and then she think she will have a "true" friend in Robyn . . . 2 against 2.    She thought she had something to hang over Robyn's head - but didn't turn out how she planned.  Meri alienated her only child, and it doesn't seem any of the other kids care whether or not she's around.   Janelle's kids came to Christines during Covid.  They expressed their feelings clearly over where would everyone spend Thanksgiving.   Meri was the treated like the "old lady" neighbor who Kody & Robyn felt sorry for, so asked her over.  

No matter what daily affirmations she has, she's one lonely woman, with nobody in her life.   She gloms on to Jen, or people in LLR, but day to day, she's on her own, with nobody in that huge family checking in on her, wanting to see her, checking on her. 

Now, she further down the ladder with Christine leaving with her head held high, family that surrounds her, and adores her.   Meri could possibly have had fan support had she left first.  But now, she would just be copying.

It’s a combination of several things I guess. Meri literally alienated Mariah when choosing the best rental over proximity to the rest of the family. I clearly remember Mariah complaining about that. Meri’s home wasn’t a fun and welcoming place for siblings either. I doubt Mariah had many sleepovers with them. So, she really was alone with her mum, whereas Christine and Janelle’s kids seemed to be around each other so much more.

Sol’s birth was one of the very few moments I really felt for her. She was so looking forward to her new brother and you could tell how lonely she felt and how she hoped to really bond with this baby as she missed a sibling of her own.

Yet I should also point out that Mariah seemed to have inherited Meri’s not so warm and pleasant character and a certain clumsiness when socializing in a group. That set her apart from the rest even more.

For lack of anything else to do this past week or so I have been watching all of the seasons. I am up to where Mariah came out to the family and they are on a vacation somewhere in the mountains.  My take on Mariah is that she has always been a spoiled self centered child and has turned into a self centered adult. She like her mother can turn on the tears to get sympathy and attention. She cried about wanting to attend the expensive private college in Utah this after she was the one kid to attend a private religious school while the other kids attended public schools. She cried when she found out Robyn was pregnant with Sol. She cried when she thought that she was not moving into the new LV home before Christmas. She pitched a huge screaming fit complete with throwing things when the some of her siblings played a joke on her about Hunter.  

It seems to me that Meri has spent her life catering to Mariah's wants and desires. I am sure Meri will spend the rest of her life literally paying for and I mean paying Mariah for her catfishing fiasco. Mariah comes across as an umpleasant and ungrateful individual.

At the time of moving to Vegas, things seemed to be equally split between wives.  Houses, money, time, etc.  I think Christine, Janelle and Robyn may have gotten a bit more grocery money.   So Meri was able to give Mariah more in the way of material things, than say Christine was able to give her kids.   All attention was on Mariah in that house.  When Kody came over, Mariah didn't have to fight for his attention.   She wasn't raised to think of herself as part of the larger picture, but that she was special.   Of course she expected to be able to go to a high priced private school - why wouldn't she?    I think when she came out, some of her siblings (and adults) weren't as supportive as they could have been.    She ruled that house with Meri, and instead of, deespite,  warning her mom about the catfishing, she has chosen to scold her, alienate her, and get Kody to side with her.    Kody was already alienated from Meri, so he could care less - the catfishing only gave him an excuse to be more obvious about it.  

Meri is no more a part of the family than a distant aunt who happens to live nearby.   Until CP is settled she'll stay around for a payout.   I suspect she spends a lot of time crying to Jen how unfair things are for her.

I do not understand what Mariah and Audrey are tying to do with packing on lbs. to the point of being obese. Mariah is 26 years old and I assume Audrey is the around the same age. If they are this heavy at this point in their lives what are they going to look like when they reach 40? Even if they do not care about their appearance I wonder if they consider what they are doing to their bodies by being this heavy. If Mariah were my daughter I would be concerned but even if Meri is concerned  am sure she would never dare say anything to Mariah.

This! And her filtered head is completely out of proportion with the rest of her body. For some reason, she reminded me of the pet turtle I had as a kid: Tiny head poking out of a large body.

Yeah really is a tiny head and a very large body, but I think that’s actual, not filtered. Goes to show how large she actually is—she can’t filter herself thin in a group shot. 

For a woman who calls herself a “boss” and has all kinds of motivation, I don’t understand why Meri doesn’t DO something about the things she hates about herself. When my jeans start to get a little tight because I haven’t been careful enough with my eating (and it’s hard—my metabolism sucks despite working out 90 minutes a day), I cut back and eat smarter. I know how frustrating it is, but I’d rather be an actual size 8 versus Meri’s size and use a filter.

Another “tell” that she’s not as strong as she wants everyone to think she is.

I don't think Mariah does, I know she went to see Maddie in NC, but to me it was almost like she was trying to make peace with Maddie about her comment about "growing up with the bully" . I remember seeing a few posts and it looked like Maddie was not too happy with her being there

I can fully understand why Maddie would not want Meri present. Another big factor was that Meri had just picked up Mariah and Audrey from the airport. Could you just imagine the huff Meri would have been in if Maddie had said no to Mariah and Audrey also jamming into the room?

Maddie was clever enough to utilize Meri's organizational skills when it came to her wedding. She put Meri in charge of the order of procession of the attendants.  Meri raced up and down the line in her sensible wedgies, clipboard clutched firmly, shouting directions to all and sundry. She got the job done and was in her glory.
