Hi Everyone, I've been reading this board for several months. Thanks to all for the entertaining and often informative posts! I finally created an account so I could post, because I am so appalled by Mariah and Audrey's phony use of the "ESA" designation for their flight to AZ with the dogs. I had to chime in to express my absolute disgust. I find the Browns fascinating but this is just beyond the pale and I hope there will be repercussions. Also looking forward to the imminent LuLaNo implosion.

Mariah should be a little upset that Ashley opened her big mouth about them travelling with ESAs.  If she hadn't complained to Soutwest Air on a public twitter none of us would have known about it.

Was gonna say the same thing. As someone said on another show's forum, you can't out run your fork--it's very easy to do. New runners often gain weight because they think they re burning more calories than they are. Mariah likely easily eats/drinks back what she just burned off.

I was one of those posting about that point in another thread.  People don't realize that the more exercise they do the hungrier they get, so they often make the mistake of eating more, which either holds them back from losing weight or makes them gain weight.

Ok first off, I am so outraged at their attempt to use their dogs as service animals.  Yea, the dog that you fostered off on your mom while you were at school?  Grrrr.  I am livid.  Where I live this has become a large problem with folks trying to bring all sorts of animals, not just dogs, into restaurants and grocery stores and such, so many of our local places have had to post signs about what constitutes a service animal and they'll make you leave if you puppy or ferret is on a leash and in your purse or what not without even a vest.  Yes, I know you can buy the vest online but these folks don't even bother with that.  

2nd - thank you all for your service.  Both of my parents were Air Force.

3rd - yes I have mental health issues, but these girls post EVERYTHING about themselves #wearespecialsnowflakes that I can't imagine them not having posted about they have a therapy dog.  And the fact that both of them now need one for a flight home at the same time? - yea right.  But they don't seem to need one at coffee shops, yoga studios, soul cycle, brunch places? 

4 - photos in Flagstaff with the fam - um, where are the dogs you insisted on bringing?

5 - I went down the rabbit hole of Mariah's blog.  She states that she grew up on the West Coast.  Um, wtf??  What coastline was there in Las Vegas and Utah???  She also uses that horrid, I haven't brushed my hair in a month, photo of her with the avocado toast as well as the armpit/plant yoga photo.  I wonder if any of her siblings are laughing hysterically while texting her with, awesome photos of you!

6 - you are flying across the country for Thanksgiving.  I get the fact that this is the first time you've been far away from home, but perhaps use that as a you and Aud's first thanksgiving at home and skype or facetime with your family and save the money on tickets and travel and then maybe try to fly home for Christmas.  Do they spend anytime with Aud's family???  I learned that when I went to college, which was a 6.5 -7 hour drive in good traffic, never mind holiday traffic and it was brutal, and that was only 2 quick stops for gas and bathroom breaks.  I had 1/2 day on Wednesday - arrive like 9 pm or later at my parents, be pulled out of bed super early to help set the table and help cook after being up past midnight helping with the ham and turkey, collapse thursday evening exhausted and then try to study on friday and saturday in between all the projects my dad wanted my help with.  And then fight traffic all the way back.  No, just no.

7 - does Aud work besides shilling LuLaNo?  They are in Chicago, Heck I'd be waiting tables or seeing if I could get a barrista job and free coffee if that's all I could find.  And when the hell does Mariah go to school???  With all of her postings, not one seems to be of at the library, or in front of one of the school buildings or such.  She must be doing as well in class as Derick Dullard is at law school

Trust me, between the depression and the anxiety issues, I would love to have a personal therapy dog - my cats would not.  LOL.  That being said I've seriously considered for a few years about learning and training in order to train service dogs for projects like Wounded Warriors and the like

Just got an e-mail from Southwest regarding an upcoming flight we're taking.  There was a link to their policy on Emotional Support Animals, with the following:

Documentation requirements to travel with an emotional support dog or cat

A Customer seeking to travel with an emotional support animal must provide to a Southwest Airlines Employee current documentation (not more than one year old on the date of travel) on letterhead from a licensed mental health professional or medical doctor who is treating the Customer's mental health-related disability. The letter must state all four items below:

The Passenger has a mental or emotional disability recognized in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders

The Passenger needs the emotional support dog or cat as an accommodation for air travel and/or for activity at the Passenger's destination

The individual providing the assessment is a licensed mental health professional or medical doctor, and the Passenger is under his or her professional care AND

The date and type of mental health professional's or medical doctor's license and the state or other jurisdiction in which it was issued

It was a standard "reminder of your flight" e-mail, but now that you mention it . . . it does seem that they want to make sure people understand that there are RULES for an ESA.

Is it uncharitable to hope that the social media backlash has caused Southwest to tighten things up?  People (not just the Entitled Twits) have been taking advantage of this to transport all kinds of inappropriate animals and the airlines have been reluctant for bad press.  Maybe the BS hit the fan when people started posting their outrage at the flagrant fraud these two were committing.

No reputable doctor would provide documentation for these two brats, when they're posting constantly about how they are out and about without their dogs. Lying pieces of crap.

True.  A week or so there was a guy who had to sit in a seat that had dog crap all over it.  The cleaning crew between flights didn't want to touch it and the flight attendant stated that they had put in a cleaning order for that seat.  Then she got cross with the man who asked to be moved, she said either sit down or get off the plane.  This is the reason dogs don't need to be on the plane at all.
