Yeah. I didn't get that vibe from this scene though. He didn't defend himself by bringing up the tumor or it being years ago. Couple that with Maxie bringing up what Franco did to Michael and Franco's crimes are a Big Deal again right now. Whether they will follow through on that is iffy though of course. 

It's not even particularly this scene or Franco's lines that bother me. It's that I don't think the character should be played for laughs at all. Ron is so busy with his ~isn't Franco the greatest when he's crazy~ ~Isn't it great that he will humiliate Carly and Sonny~ ~Isn't RH just the funniest can we all pretend he's Todd now~ ~I can't wait for the re-Hell No wedding except with characters no one cares about.~

Ron never takes anything seriously. And if there's one thing I wish he would take seriously it's the issue of sexual violence, but I know he's never going to.

I want more than anything for Sonny and Carly to get theirs, and I kind of realized that Michael was going to hurt in the process, but now it seems like Franco is targeting Michael, making the situation even worse for him, and that's taking some of the fun out of it for me.  

 

The scenes in Carly's living room were kind of fun, I thought.  Nice to see people who are related actually having scenes together.

Michael should be first and foremost furious at Sonny and Carly, but he should also take time out of his day to blast Franco for this.  And if his little girlfriend Kiki dares to stand up for the SERIAL KILLER, he should drop kick her into next week as well.

I think Franco was flat out hinting that Sonny did indeed murder AJ. He was doing something no one in PC does- not coddling Micheal. He said flat out he was thinking of AJ. AJ was never Franco's concern, Jason was. Then, he said he wanted to be close to Micheal like Sonny. That, if you think about it, acknowledges Franco orchestrating the rape. It compares Sonny murdering AJ, Micheal's father which severely hurt him and lying to him for months going to the funeral, fucking Ava on AJ's grave, and badmouthing AJ to Micheal after killing AJ, to Franco orchestrating the rape. Which honestly, had Sonny not been a lowlife, Micheal wouldn't have been in that position. Franco then straight up said Sonny never retaliated, which is against Sonny's character. He didn't kill AJ. But if AJ was murdered during a bungled robbery as said yesterday, why was he killed at the Jeromes? Making Micheal think. Then Franco put the idea in Micheal's head of Carly being involved with Sonny making the pass at her.

If you get past the uncomfortable situation, it's actually kind of great.

I don't know if its possible to reverse plastic surgery, injections, etc., but the last few times JZ has appeared she continues to loom better than the time before and the best she's looked in years.

And I really liked the way she played those scenes today. Bobbie knows ish is goinsg to go down at this wedding but knows Carly is too arrogant to heed any warning. So Bobbie is torn between wanting to get the hell away from Port Charles, and being there for her daughter for the fallout of whatever is about to happen.

So when all of a sudden Kiki started name checking Silas as her "dad" to Ava and Morgan today....yammering on and on about being his daughter, that he would do anything for his precious baby girl, in so many words, including keeping as many dirty little secrets as she asked him to because their love bond is just that bloody strong now...it's as if she's incapable of not being annoying as hell. Whatever she does or says, however it happens, whenever it happens, wherever, the very act of her breathing is a travesty

 

I'll be honest, I am not yet convinced that the Nina is the one who cold clocked Silas. I think it was his self preservation, a bit of sixth sense action going on that realized Kiki was on her way and he quickly slammed his head against the nearest solid surface he could find, having no time to think, knowing only he needed to immediately react to the oncoming danger. .

It looks like Franco is creating a video to play at the wedding, a video which will bring down both Sonny and Carly.  This reminds me of the video shown on Days of Our Lives at the wedding of Kristin and Brady.  Needless to say, said video really put a big stop to the wedding.  I really wish the writers could come up with something more original. 

 

So Sonny and his hapless henchman want to pin Franco's murder on Heather.  And just how do they intend to get Heather out of the maximum security prison for the criminally insane?  Of course, Heather has been transferred to Pentonville.  Isn't that the word written on her jumpsuit? 

 

How can Nina be redeemed now that she has proven herself to be violent rather than just hell-bent on revenge?  Will Kevin Collins be gracing our screen again to work a miracle on Nina and restore her to the sanity she has never really had?

 

Does anyone remember just how much contact Dr. O has had with Nina?  Was it really enough for the Doctor to be able to make a diagnosis that Nina was unstable?  I really don't like the idea that Nina is out and out crazy.  I think it works better for everyone if she is developed to be sane but a spoiled heiress who needs to grow up.

It was nice to see the Lucas/Maxie dynamic that should've happened a long time ago.  So this is where we are now with Maxie and Nathan.  After the Levi debacle, they're STILL not together.  And none of it strikes me as them just taking things slowly.  So we're now going to watch them just pine for each other for the next six months or so, meaning no sex for Nathan this entire year.  Poor guy!

Fluke need not be anyone connected to Port Charles at all.  He could be a ringer who is carrying out the orders of the Cassadine matriarch.  Fluke could have had plastic surgery to look like Luke and could have studied Luke's movements, mannerism, and voice.  Faison had a good bit of luck with his Duke mask.  Helena might have decided to go one better and have her ringer undergo plastic surgery.  After all, her brother-in-law had Creighton-Clark at his disposal.

Way to beat something that might have been funny into the ground.  

 

Its amazing how this show can do a story and your choice in terms of taking sides is two pieces of garbage.  Sonny and Franco are just so horrible.  I want Sonny to go down but that doesn't mean I enjoy Franco mind fucking Michael to do it.

 

And how awesome is it that Heather's back?  When is this show going to reach its limit are terrible people? They outnumber the so-called good guys.

THis show hsn't had good guys as leads since the 80s lol.It all started going downhill when sonny took over then Carly the bad girl who wanted us to feel sorry for her because oh boo hoo she was adopted.THen every enemy of sonnys ect.I long for the days when the town got to hate the mobsters lol.

That didn't stop TPTB from almost going there years ago.  As teens, Lucas was crushing on Maxie while she was having sex on the Internet, and Georgie was crushing on Lucas and using Dillon to make him jealous. Georgie even got a hotel room so she could lose her virginity to Lucas on prom night. I think Lucas kissed each of the girls.  It was a little icky even if they aren't biologically related

Liz does the bitchface and snark well, for sure, but I think on her worst day Brad and Britt are still 1,000 percent more loathsome. 

Brad and Britt are no saints, but they don't pretend to be, and that's the problem I have with Elizabeth.  She acts so self-righteous.  SHE is the one that baited Brad yesterday.  The guy did nothing but walk into the room, tell her that he had the test results, comment that he's doing really well, and Liz just started snarking on him.  Making innuendos about Brad making in-roads with Jakeson and that he better not come on to him.  WTH?  SHE started the whole problem, and frankly, she's an amateur when it comes to Brad and Britt.  So if she's going to pick a fight, she should expect some pushback.  When Brad started to bait Liz about Britt and Nikolas, Liz didn't like it.  Naturally, the new Jakeson had to come to her rescue - which I hated.  Let Liz defend herself for once.  She started it.

I'm 100% okay with this.  Nathan's best contributions to this show are when he stands around shirtless not saying much.  As soon as he tries to move or open his mouth, his terrible acting ruins the effect for me.  I can't even begin to imagine how terrible his love scenes are going to be.  As long as he pines shirtless with minimal speaking, I'm good.

 

Speaking of terrible love scenes, will someone who had the stomach to watch Patrick/Sabrina get it on tell me if JT looked like he was afraid to touch her?  I think that's why the Sam/Patrick makeout scenes fell so flat for me.  They were all adorable and sparkly and gorgeous, but the second they had to actually do anything, Patrick looked like he was conducting a scientific experiment on how far away from someone it was possible to be while still kissing them.  I don't recall him having this problem with Robin.

Imo if the work isn't of much quality then it's nothing to be applauded.

 

I've watched Michelle "act" for nearly 20 years, what's she doing isn't in reaction to Michael to me, she's never really reacted to whatever her acting partners do, she does whatever the hell she feels like.

 

The Nina isn't acting this way because Michelle is trying to carry scenes with Michael, because if that's the case then why does she behave exactly the same in scenes with every other single actor/character she's come in contact with on this show?

 

From Ryan/Nathan to now Donna/Mags, she's playing the Nina in typical Michelle fashion, imho, and it just isn't good, it's over the top when there's no need for it.

 

Ffs in the preview she's on top of Mags screaming "REPENT!!!!!" at the top of her lungs while bouncing up and down like some out of control ape.

 

To me that does nothing to enhance a scene or add drama, it makes her look unbalanced, ridiculous and like a fairly crap actor who can't just "act" out a scene with talent but must attach all these distracting bells and whistles as if covering up for something, such as lack of talent.

 

Perhaps she's getting direction to go full ass out, but then again I know her work from Y&R so it isn't as if they'd have to twist her arm if that's the case anyhow.

You have a friend.  I am loving these scenes, and frankly, it's the first real evidence I've seen that Silas wasn't in some coma of his own.  I love seeing a personality, even anger, something out of him.  I am no judge of acting, but Nathan is definitely gorgeous.

Why is he claiming Heather hates the SERIAL KILLER? If anything she "loves" him too much. She wanted him to pay for stabbing her and then burying her alive, I mean who wouldn't, but to try and make it out that she's suddenly wanting him dead and gone after all these months of silence?

 

Or does Sonny hope people will assume Heather found out about the wedding and therefore lost it, well lost it more than usual and had the SERIAL KILLER put down for good for daring to hitch himself to Carly.

 

Except why wouldn't she just have Carly taken out? Because that is the one she truly hates, and everyone knows that, and if she can hire people to get to the SERIAL KILLER why the hell is she going to just leave Carly suddenly untouched even though she attempted to murder her before?

 

Or maybe he should just plant a car bomb and pretend that Carly was a target too just to cover his tracks, because we all know Shawn would be the perfect guy for that job.

Michelle Stafford is another month and a half away from spontaneously breaking into the Thriller Dance during scenes, and FV letting it go to tape. I'm not an regular Y&R viewer so I'm not sure if she's ever been indulged this much with these kind of loose scripts that let her go hogwild.

It's amazing how fast that happened, huh?  So fast that when it first happened, I thought for sure it was a fake out.  After more than a year of being up each other's butts 100% of the time they had a "blink and you miss it" breakup, and now they're done.  Focus group results must have been really terrible.  It was practically Patrick/Sabrina levels of backpedal.

 

Um... thanks for wasting a year of our time, I guess?  Though honestly, pretty much every plotline on this show seems like a waste of time at this point.
