Right? I mean, I guess it's possible PCPD starts every partnership with a getting to know you session like the first day of a HS homeroom. I'm sorry, is that not normal cop behavior? I thought he was supposed to admit all of his screw ups and then ask Sonny how he (Chase) can best serve him. Linny June 20, 2018 Share June 20, 2018 I've got zero tolerance for Carly clutching to Jason like a scared little mouse. Yeah, life at Ferncliff isn't a picnic, but it's not so unbearable that she couldn't make do on her own. Someone should remind Carly that people like Robin survived years in captivity without ever knowing if she'd see her family again, and that Carly's situation is a breeze in comparison. Joss is either weepy or whiny these days, and Oscar's moving in that direction too, and I don't know why we need two teenagers on the show who are so preternaturally involved in their parents' lives. I could use a break from them right about now. That was some damn fast shipping by the random bar in Florida, I hope Nelle leaves them a good review. It'd also be mighty nice of Michael to apologize to Chase and admit that he was wrong to go to bat for the woman he knows to be a perpetual liar. 2 Link to comment

In Dante's defence, I don't think he meant that Chase should have said it on the first day, but maybe at some point in the past 5 months, when Michael started dating her, when Carly claimed she was being gaslighted by her. You know, any time between the first day and today. But since the writers just pulled this out of their asses last week, that's the better reason why. 2 minutes ago, Linny said: I've got zero tolerance for Carly clutching to Jason like a scared little mouse. Jason is in there because Carly's an idiot, not because she's a delicate flower. LW's playing it like Carly's a delicate flower, but it's more because of Carly's sheer stupidity. 7 Link to comment

I mean, everytime I try to gaslight someone, I always keep the evidence in my purse, where anyone can find it. 2-Because they needed to show us that she still had it, when Ava told her to get rid of any evidence that could kick her in the ass. 3 She spilt her purse and things fell out, including the bottle. Joss was there, so she must have seen the bottle and swiped it. I actually thought Michael had taken it, so for the first time in awhile, the show surprised me that it was Joss. The 'only my feelings matter' mentality is consistent with Lulu's character, dating back to when JMB was in the role. She asked Lucky - while he was grieving his dead son that Luke killed (before the terrible "Helena kidnapped Jake and staged his death" retcon) - to go bring Luke back to Port Charles because "I need my dad." She was more than willing to pressure/guilt her so-called beloved brother into putting her feelings first, his heartbreak be damned. So I absolutely believe that she thinks she should get what she wants from her 'best friend forever' (whom she hated as a teenager) immediately. 3 Link to comment

It was Carly who had a hand in Jason moving from emotional and vulnerable to a selfish, controlling, delusional liar. Much like herself. Any nuance that Carly had was also due more to Sarah Brown's performance as opposed to the writing. On paper, she was very much like the Nelle character we see today, some would argue even worse, as she was nasty in an inhumane way, as evidenced by the way she would talk about Robin's HIV. I actually don’t disagree with most of this. I just feel that it would be worth a try to mix up the existing relationships. LW, SBu and MB are going to be front burner no matter what, so why not pair characters who used to be good (IMO) and see if they can be good again once unshackled from the sameness and tedium of their current relationships. Maybe it would light a fire under the actors, too, because they also used to be better. I would also be fine with just uncoupling all of them and setting them all on new paths, but Sam/Jason and Sonny/Carly are just so beyond played out I can’t stand it. 2 Link to comment

ciarra June 21, 2018 Share June 21, 2018 Nelle baited Carly throughout the baby shower, causing her to go off on Nelle in front of everyone. Joss tearfully demanded that Carly apologize to Nelle, who was upstairs hiding in the nursery. They argued and Nelle fell, Carly didn't push her. They were fighting over the baby blanket. The fall mirrored the fall that pregnant Carly took when she argued with AJ at the top of the Q stairs, he grabbed her wrist, she yanked it away and fell. She miscarried. Ava hid the blanket in her ginormous purse, and everyone thinks Carly is crazy and there was no blanket. 2 Link to comment

Just a few scenes of Kiki befriending her and possibly suspecting she was also getting harassed would go a long way in enriching the story. Instead it's like, "Hey!
