Speaking about unkempt hair, how about Sam's flaccid locks? On the last few shows, she looks like she rolled out of bed, removed the rollers, and forgot to comb out. Add her weak barely-there voice, monochrome clothing, etc and she's like Cousin It in the Addams family. She's easy to ignore.

Maybe Jason and Sam's spawn will be ripped from the original V miniseries from the '80s and Sam gives birth to a lizard-like being as the nurse screams. Bonus points if it eats Jason.

I love lizard Emily. Aw.

Why is FV and Jelly continuing to allow RoHo to look and dress like a homeless bum?!  Franco looks dirty and sleazy with that nasty hair.  He also looks way TOO old to be paired up with Elizabeth/BH!

I hate Franco immensely, and I don't think Roger Howarth is all he's cracked up to be. That said, he is actually three years younger than Rick Hearst. So if BH can be paired with him, age-wise, Roger Howarth also fits the bill. Too bad Franco is a POS, but there you go.

Never mind that he was the cause of it.

The show seems to be passing this off as 100% Julian's fault.  But Alexis has some culpability, going along with Julian, reluctantly but willingly being ethically compromised.  And no one is pouring the booze down Alexis' throat.

Many decades ago Julian shot Olivia in the head.  Helena was into cryogenics.  What if Helena, knowing that her body would not go on forever, had her brain transplanted into Olivia's body?  Tonya Walker could be coming back as an Olivia/Helena hybrid.  Stranger things have happened on this show.

That would require a minimum knowledge of the show and the character's history, plus some small basic competence at writing and plotting. It will never happen.

Also, given the amount of times Sonny has skated for far worse crimes, Show doesn't have a leg to stand on when it comes to any "OMG!!!! Julian is SOOOOO EVIL!!!" bullshit.

I notice they've been using some uncredited person as "Lady Boss" so they didn't have to pay Tonja Walker -- at least we have a little bit of a clue that it's not (unfortunately) Helena, as the close-ups of her hands reveal those of a younger woman. If it weren't for Walker's latest Facebook posts, I would still be hoping for Faith Rosco.

Speaking of Facebook, I don't believe I ever saw any references to it before yesterday's show, and then it was almost non-stop. "You didn't friend me?" Watch, next there will be a Franco Baldwin profile on FB, updated by Nathan Varni or one of the other ABC minions. Forget marketing books on Amazon from characters (Robin, Diane, Molly), we're going to have social media presence!

I didn't mind Nelle showing her claws a bit, that's infinitely more interesting than her simpering dish rag routine.  Her and Bobbie squaring off was fun.  But is Bobbie's history as a hooker really that common knowledge that Nelle could have read about it somewhere?

I was also on Nelle's side when she was summoned over to Sonny's to be berated.  Based on what he knows at this point...screw off, Sonny.

Franco's an asshole.  Also, the sky is blue and puppies are cute.

Nelle wanted so badly to intimidate Bobbie, and Bobbie all but laughed in her face. As if Bobbie Spencer is going to back down from a confrontation. Sorry, Nelle, but you ain't shit, and Bobbie's going to make sure nobody fucks with her daughter.

And WHY is Carly so blithely trusting of Nelle? Nelle is clearly steering the ship and Carly just lets it happen, assuming Nelle has her best interests at heart. I feel like after the life Carly's had, she should be a little more wary.

Diane and Sonny, sitting on the couch with wine and pasta: relatable. Of course Olivia dropped it off at Sonny's house. I think Olivia probably imposes a fine on anyone who eats pasta that she hasn't sanctioned.

I'm laughing that social media is a thorn in Alexis' side, given NLG's own social media mishaps.

Sam went for the big Encyclopedia Brown reveal at Ava's and fell flat on her face. Ouch. But hey, at least the writers remembered Ava is a part of this storyline.

Actually, I think it is.  Going way back into the memory bank, that was one of the issues Scott publicized and published to try and win the mayoral election for Lee back in the day. Luke eventually won, then resigned and Lee ended up as mayor anyway.

I think most of it is guilt on Carly's part about the kidney. But even with that, yes, Carly should be more wary. Giving her a job is one thing—she did that for frickin' Lauren—but letting into her life so completely is another.

Jelly disregard character histories and personalities when it gets in the way of whatever plot they're pushing.

Ava laughing in Sam's face at Sam's stupid ass 'theory' was made of WIN.  Ava talking to Sam after the fact like Sam's a junior detective and just so darn SPECIAL was even better, especially after Sam's butthurt reaction and flouncing out like an emo teenager.

And of COURSE Sam later suggests to Jason that it was just a theory to provoke a reaction from Ava. Uh huh. Okay Sam.

Curtis, please, stop deferring to Jason. Stop playing assistant. Go get a life.

Sonny sitting in the dark, waiting for Nelle. STOP SHOW. Stop trying to make Sonny look like a man in control and a dark force to be reckoned with. It's NEVER going to happen. He looks like a FOOL squaring off with a high school girl.

LMAO. I think? She doesn't know the face of her father? I'm done.

When would she have seen a picture of Julian as a kid?  My guess is she sees the resemblance and is why she said "think".

But it's a young pic of Julian.

Didn't Julian have his face redone when he went into witness protection (which explained why WDv looked younger than Julian should have).  So how could Sam recognize it?

Then the show shouldn't have used a pic of baby DeVry. Looks exactly like him. No question to me.

I saw it when you said it, but I don't think I would have recognized him, at least not for a while. I suck at faces.

That's fine. I just posted to laugh about the fact that it takes awhile for Sam to see her father's face. Didn't really mean for a debate. I always do this!

So we got to see some Carson nooky. How could Sonny believe he had sex with Nelle  after  experiencing Carly's sparkly parts? Seems like the experiences wouldn't compare .

I can't believe any parent would fly 25 hours to Australia and pay almost 5000 dollars to go pick up a kid, and then turn around and ferry the kid 25 hours more and pay five thousand dollars to get it home. So contrived.

I was more taken that Carly felt she had to ask Sonny's permission.  Gross.

Also, why is the show making a point of sending Carly out of town?  Is Laura Wright taking a break?

I hated BH being paired with RiH, because he still looked way too old for her character.

The whole thing was so embarrassing. Sam is so pathetic now.

LW did her 'ha ha' laugh again today and it once again sent shudders down my spine. Please stop!

I loved the Nelle/Bobbie scenes. I kept screaming "Kill her!" at the tv. Nelle is such a huge disappointment.

I hope it's revealed that Nelly is Helena's daughter and Helena kills her like she did that other one.

Oh I forgot to mention: Did Franco seriously tell Scott he doesn't care what people think about him? I think he did. I was like, "Really bitch?!" This from the man who whines almost 24/7 about how some people still hold the fact that he's a rapist serial killer against him. I can't do it anymore!

Classic Sonny: turning a question about his late son being in a mental hospital into his pain about how he's trapped in his giant mansion and then a friendly pasta dinner with Diane.

I had to laugh when Carly flashback to teh sex with Sonny and we see him grinning like a Chesire cat, as I'd just watched "The Contest" episode of Seinfeld. I also appreciated Diane being unnerved when she saw him.

When Sonny was whining about being a prisoner in his own home (uh, yeah, that's what house arrest is all about, dipshit), I thought, I bet he can go out on his patio.

The Curtis/Jason scenes continue to be painful. It's so obvious they're trying to give both guys equal treatment in terms of experience and smarts, but it makes them both look completely stupid instead.

It was great to see Bobbie do more than cluck over Carly's latest dumb behavior. I hope they have her do more than glare at Nelle.

Given Sam's lone plus as a P.I. is to call Spinelli and ask him to hack something, junior detective seems apt.  And, boy howdy, KM's passive voice and reactions just don't work for me at all.  The horror and shock she showed at Jason being caught in a fire was less than mine when I realize I'm out of peanut butter.

Best part of the episode was Bobbie's amused "bring it" smile when Nelle showed some bite.  You can't intimidate an OG bad girl, Nelle.  Don't even try.

Also, go to Hell, Sonny.  Him sitting there like the Godfather for Nelle was so gross.  He's so gross.

Cooked by Mama Mia Olivia. It's like she thinks Sonny wearing his ankle bracelet is a toddler in his crib and has to have a fridge full of fresh bottles available.

Yeah this is the second time at least that Bobbie has read Nelle and then dropped the ball by saying "I'mah watchin' chew!" as a hollow threat. No wonder Nelle disrespected Bobbie's Ho history. I was actually cheering Nelle's chutzpah. Hoped they would get into a hair-pulling scrape...but maybe next time. I wanna see that improbable red wig shredded in Nelle's fists.
