The Spin/Ellie Portland set, the Cassidine Island house, Kate's Mansion, Ava's New York set and the loving mansion set when Laura was searching for Luke. What happened to Johnny's penthouse or Lucky set that went to steve & then Olivia. One of the ideas that I hope network soaps lift from the PP soaps is the one of having double-sided walls to each set done a different way. To get a new set you just flip the walls around, move some furniture out and some furniture in, and voila! Two sets for the price of one. I'd even live with the notion of having one set that just gets re-dressed different ways to be different people's bedrooms or offices or whatever. It can't be that hard. Michael Logan always acts as totally surprised by the utterly predictable plot twists as my grandmother acted surprised be getting a sweater each Christmas. And he also acts as if said tired plot point is JUST what we wanted - just like Grandma acted like she really loved yet one more sweater. Off point - but is anyone else as distracted as I am by Scott Baldwin's giant badger head? Between that giant noggin and those hundreds of little raccoon teeth he has, I tend to zone out in sheer wonderment when he's on. But goddammit all to hell if Julian/Alexis don't make it worth it. I'm completely powerless over my obession with this twosome. I need help. That said, I will enjoy daughter f'cker cooling his heels in a jail cell--karmic justice for all the shit he put Alexis through. Made more delicious given that it comes at the hands of Alexis' current love. What I wouldn't give for a scene, when this is all said and done, and Molly is copping an attitude with Alexis about staying with Julian, for Sam to sit her little sister down and explain how Julian setting Molly's father up for a crime he didn't commit in order to bring down the real bad guy, pales in comparision to the hurt her father caused their mother when he willing screwed her sister in her mother's home. He didn't think she would believe him. She argued with him about even talking to him. No smart cop would do that. besides it isn't her call. It would actually be a federal prosecutor's call since something that big would be over a local cop and local DA's pay grade. That was Julian's point, she is so wrapped up in her hatred of him that she cannot see or think clearly when the Jeromes are brought into it. She admitted her single mindedness was personal. She edited it after she got called out on it, but FH played it brilliantly. She showed Anna knew the nail had been hit on the head. Her intense conversation with Julian before Scott showed up, in her lowered voice telling him how much she despised him was brilliant. And then, as you say, all FH was able to get across with just her expressions and her eyes was brilliant as you say. FH regularly gets handed a bucket of horse manure and yet she's able to make it compelling just because she is THAT good. But all Ron C. can think to do with her is to have her constantly thwarted by villians and made a fool of by Duke. But she could read the phone book (while hopefully banging Ron C. on the head with a stilleto) and I'd watch. 4 Link to comment

For one, I don't want this to send Liz back into Nikolas' arms because I cannot stomach seeing them together again. I also feel slightly sorry for Ric, who actually appears on the straight and narrow and was trying his best to change for Liz and Molly. And I like Julian and Alexis, but there's no way that the lie isn't going to come out at some point and blow their relationship to pieces that may or may not be able to be put back together. So, basically, Julian's lie has thrown two couples I enjoy into uncertainty. Womp. I was hoping beyond hope that Fluke would reveal himself today, but I wasn't super surprised that he simply winked at the camera with a "wouldn't you like to know?" Also, I was impressed that AG allowed himself to appear on screen looking like he's on the verge of death. Real!Luke looked awful. 5 Link to comment

Before the Reese/Sam garbage, I actually thought Ric/Alexis fit much better than Ric and Liz. She being a Cassadine and Ric batshit nuts and all. As for Lizzie, no harm, no foul. I hate Sonny, love Julexis, and am neutral about LiRic. Sonny called Ava a whore and a bitch and said if she's really pregnant he will kill her once the baby is born. Surprisingly, he had enough brain cells to realize Morgan could also be the father. Shockingly, instead of running to Nik, Liz decided to ask Alexis to represent Ric. She declined because she believed Julian when he swore on Sam and Lucas' lives that he didn't set Ric up. So not only did Julian lie to Alexis' face, he's also going to be the reason why Molly is devastated when she finds out her father is a murdering mobster on Monday. Luke and Fake Luke had a confrontation at the mental hospital. Fake Luke talked about how good Tracy is in bed so we have yet another sexual assault victim on the show. Link to comment

Tony Geary was fantastic in his performance today because I really felt like I was watching two completely different people in today's episode. My heart broke for Luke sitting there and looking so vulnerable. Kudos to TG for not being afraid to go there. I really felt for Ric today because we all know he's innocent, and I was surprised that Liz didn't annoy me the way she usually does. Instead, she was standing by Ric and confronting Julian. I also think the scenes with Ava and Sonny were good, and I loved his remark when she thought her being pregnant was going to save her when he first threatened to kill her. Then: Ava: What if I'm pregnant? Sonny: You're STILL dead - nine months later. LOL! Best line today. Overall, I think GH was pretty darn good this week, and even this past month. When the show and the writers focus on the GH vets and not so much the newbies, the audience responds and the ratings go up. It's not rocket science. 2 Link to comment

Unflappable Maura West was definitely the best part of that, minus Sonny's bitchface over "Carry my bags?" Olivia and drunk Morgan, considering it actually did avoid going There in a practical and even pleasant fashion, might have been the best part of today's episode. I can usually take or leave Bryan Craig, but for once his pouty post-teen thing worked for him. Ric being framed for murder, and Julian being party to it, and thus his relationship with Alexis being strapped to a ticking time bomb, wasn't bad. Considering. But it would have been more interesting if Nancy Lee Grahn wasn't busting out of that black sweater and shirt. And then there was Fluke and Luke and "Wouldn't you like to know?" As much as I respect TG getting to sink his teeth into something--and even going method a little bit with that shaved head--those five words at the end, spoken to the camera, just derailed the whole damn thing and pissed me off. He had the evidence on the computer. I don't know what it was really, and it's probably stupid, but it was supposed to be some sort of fabricated evidence. Um, when did Morgan turn 21? He's getting drunk in bars So how old is this making Micheal, now? I'm sure Morgan has a fake ID from his college days. He should still be 20 now, since his birthday's not till October. But Ron choose the much torturous "we forgot to add in that line that he's 21" on twitter even though it makes no sense. SORASed Kristina should be 22 in November (in 2011 she said she was almost 19) and they said Michael turned 18 in 2009, so he should be 22 right now according to that. As for Kiki, I saw her strip down and had to check google because the actress seemed to be about 15...I found out the actress is over 21 and is in a relationship with her co-star. Honestly, I wonder if all the 45+ actresses playing early 20s girls on GH has messed up my age estimate ability for the show. Sonny and Ava sucks, but Sonny sucks period. I really wanted a murder/suicide. I don't like Liz, and even with that as my starting place her scenes were painful. Anna started on the show as a shallow spy pretending to to deformed for revenge, and I even watched when she had sex with Robin's space alien friend's earth twin----all that aside, Ron as show runner has ruined Anna by turning her into the bumbling police chief who is the single worst dumbest cop ever.
