I think the most recent footage we saw was supposed to be from the viewpoint of Carly's necklace as she sat on the couch and Sonny stood by the window. In their son's apartment. While they talked about killing his father and keeping it a secret. Love them! I kinda don't understand the point of showing the Sonny/Carly sex tape. My read of it is that Franco's revenge is not really about the sex, it's about exposing the AJ murder and lies. The sex is *why* he's getting the revenge, but exposing that is not his really motive. But honestly, who knows? I'm not even sure the writers know what the point of any of this is. OH MY GOD - I just had a terrible thought. What if something happens and Franco doesn't actually reveal the AJ stuff?? Like, Heather shows up with Shawn hot on her heels and everybody runs? She was - at least, this was my read of who wrote much of her stuff - Chuck Pratt's sex-obsessed psycho blow-up doll, but Cynthia Preston made much more of the character than what was on the page. She gave her real intensity. That being said, I don't remember her ever being remotely human (and I never bought into her subplot with Faux Justus). To the day she died, Faith was talking about shooting kids in the head and burying them in the swamp. Ava they did try to defang, but it didn't take. She is a coldblooded killer. That being said, this sofabed pregnancy tour is a lousy way for her to go out, if she is going out. I don't disagree about Faith being an over the absolute top character but then she was written off with a whimper and rather pathetically. Ava they did try to defang, but it didn't take I think they did worse then try to "defang" her, they tried to make her into a sympathetic character. Ava was brought on as a villain and a villain she should have stayed, not turn into the weepy, hopeful girlfriend of a near teenager who screws his father on a grave and then spends months kept like a caged animal as if she was so helpless and couldn't find her own way out of the mess she made. Right now still she's in the position of "victim", now with the Nina terrorizing her. Ava has been terrorized for months and comparing this sad, useless woman with the one who first arrived in PC, to me the change is so drastic they may as well not even be the same person. 1 Link to comment

To me, that fit who she was. They did neuter Ava for Morgan and that horrible, stupid relationship, but then they doubled back by revealing she'd killed Connie after all and ending it with Morgan. The pregnancy was a mistake, as is her current state of affairs, but it doesn't change what she still is. They have not tried to whitewash her much since the Connie reveal, IMO because they simply stopped caring about her after hiring Michelle Stafford. She has these sappy couch scenes which are dreadful, but they're nowhere near what they had her doing last winter, weeping and moaning about Evil Julian and Morgan's magic dick. I have never been a fan of soaps having the young actors involved in such scenes, even if they are fake. All the sex talk and "bitches" and "whores" and other such slut shaming words that are thrown around are just too much, imho, there's no reason to have them witnessing any of that. My eyes have yet to recover from seeing Sonny's orange tang tanned naked chest flashed at me. Good god...at least they skipped the lifeless Carly "moaning" during the act, that never should have happened the first time. Duke really is a useless loser now, Ron has been shameless in his destruction of the classic characters. That Duke would keep playing Anna for a fool, expecting her to just "believe" him without question or that taking his word for it would mean she would stop reopening the investigation. How vile. If Anna doesn't dump his useless hide after this... Watching Ava drag herself across the floor for two hours was not "must see TV" Ron. And the Nina was at the hospital for days basically but she never bothered to steal anything to help deliver the baby? Not even some gloves or a mask? Sure, of course she did. Liz and Jakson both deserve each other and whatever terrible, awful, horrible things that might happen to them. Really? This is supposed to be some sort of "romantic" gesture to invite a complete, memory blanked, stranger into your home with your small children? For fucks sake, it's just beyond the pale. What's cute about being a desperate, blind, bad mother? Morgan really wants to be Sonny's new right hand man, Ron just can't help himself, of course one of his spawns must be by his side and supporting his sorry ass. Turtle November 3, 2014 Share November 3, 2014 Michael's face behind Franco as Franco called Carly names was the best WTF face I have ever seen. Really, he did a great job throughout the whole episode, I thought, and Carly's reactions played well too. The view of Sonny on the paused video (the first time)? The most unflattering shot ever, and I loved it. The second Dr. O started talking about discharging Jake, I was overwhelmed with the fear that Liz would suggest taking him home with her to nurse him back to health. I thought, no, no way she would do that. And then she did. I don't even have the words for that level of stupid writing. Even more confusing to me is why the two of them are boring me so much. I'm not a Liz lover, but I certainly don't hate her, and I thought I would like the new actor, but they are snooze city for me. Joss at least threatened to kick Franco! So, we partially got our wish. Franco threw Kiki under the bus too! In addition to the fake popcorn eating, him coming out from behind the beaded curtain had me in stitches. I think RH played these scenes really well, and it's times like this that I'm really glad I'm able to pretend that James Franco's Franco never happened. Overall, I'm mostly pleased with how the reveal is going. SO FAR. I'm not even going to discuss Nina/ Morgan/ Sonny scenes, because I'm choosing to pretend that storyline does not exist (my cognitive dissonance skills are to be envied). Well, except to say that Nina's "List of Baby-Birthing Supplies" cracked me up, but not in a good way. More in a stupid way. 4 Link to comment

If given a choice of what was worse, cheating or giving your gf a gift that keeps on giving, Carly clearly has no place to talk. Dare I hope there is some fall out for Bobbie lying to Scott? I really thought something was going to happen last minute to stop the reveal, like Heather showing up, then I realized she's the one that most likely shot up Sonny's goon. So Morgan is ok with Sonny kidnapping Ava, then killing her after she gives birth. Disgusting. I really loathe Sonny and now Morgan is a close second. Please let there be some meaningful repercussions for all of this. I am still stunned that Liz has a job. The way she talks to her is boss is something that would get her fired in real life, hell, in soap life as well. And how dumb is Liz? She invites someone she doesn't know to come live with her, not knowing what he's capable of, but she's also too stupid to realize that people who stay in hospitals have to pay bills? Hello? What; did she think happened? The suture fairy swoops down at night and pays everyone's bills? I really hope Silas makes it over to save Ava but I have a feeling it's going to be Sonny. Anyone that can orchestrate a take-down of Carly is aces in my book. She's had it coming for years. Not that there will be any long-term fallout for her or Sonny.
