The video's still there.  The link was faulty when I tried it a few days ago, so I went to her main page, and there it was.  I just watched it again, so unless it's been saved in my cache somehow--which I doubt--it's still up and working.

It is working--thanks.  I think as a well done video and Sonja looked really, really happy.

My cable guide shows RHOC First Look on Sunday, August 2nd - 8:30 - 9:00 PM EST and nothing for NY which can't be right.  The First Look for NY has to be included in that half hour.

Hey, did I miss "first look" tonight for NY? I watched the OC FL and then the show with Jeff FL but there was nothing for NY! Did they air NY earlier and I missed it or is Bravo not doing 1 for NY anymore? LOL

That was disappointing.  I'm not that interested in the OC but I do enjoy Jeff Lewis.

Does anyone know why there wasn't a First Look for RHONY tonight?

Well, since we are on the subject: Dorinda should adopt non-infringement patterns of...in regards to Heather then also. After all, Heather has done nothing to encourage Dorinda's involvement in her affairs. Dorinda just foisted upon Heather her yappings, instructions, and "opinions". No invitation. No summons. Dorinda entrenched the "nice just doesn't work with you (bitches)" by rancorously DIMWITwittering about Heather con-stant-ly. Talk about a coarse individual--thy name is DORINDA MEDdle(some, ling..).

How can you select a model without seeing the clothes she will be wearing?  Way back when, I used to be involved with interviewing models for a national magazine fashion section as well as for a publicity firm.  You have to see how their coloring and body shape will work with the color and fit of the clothes they will be wearing.  Sonja and her 'people' did looked like amateurs.

Also, you try to reserve your judgements after you look at the model.  Most often, you look at their portfolio, you look at them, have them turn, have them walk (in the case of doing runway), you might have them hold up a garment against them to see if color works.  You say thank you and then discuss.

It's Fashion Week and (mis)adventures abound. Here, models are chosen for Sonja's fashion show; an excited Kristen hopes to debut her nail-polish line; and chaos spills out along the runway at Sonja's show, where Ramona tries to run away from the runway.

Exactly. I think she just looked a bit out of her element. Heather won't ever win with Sonja. If she tries to point out the obvious, that she needs to understand the clothes before she can effectively give advice on the models, it will look like she is trying to take over and make Sonja look stupid. Sonja isn't really looking for help. She is looking for someone to come in and tell her that she is awesome and she is all over it. It will be interesting, because I imagine that Heather will take the brunt of Sonja's criticism, even though Beth will be right with Heather and agreeing with her on something that Heather knows a lot about.

This is the thing I dig about Beth and the reason she can stay next season as far as I am concerned. She can be harsh, and she can jump to conclusions quickly, but she is able to self-reflect and admit when someone knows their stuff. She will give credit where credit is due. She is the one who recommended to Sonja way back at the beginning of the season that she needed to involve Heather, and that was when she didn't think much of Heather's personality. She got that Heather would have something crucial to offer, even if she didn't really like her. That is a quality that I like in a person. It is often hard to stand back and give someone credit for anything when you don't like them.

Was there actually a First Look this week?  My DVR didn't record anything but everyone here seems to know what's going on...

There was no first look this week for RHNY - just for RHOC and Flipping Out.

Only Luann trots around in her fashion for the masses, the other women pull on Yummie products but day to day the are wearing their Lulu Lemon to work out or the $300.00 jeans, and probably wearing Spanx under their clothes.

Not everyone shops the RH products for value.  Lisa Vanderpump was selling some household accessories that were higher than the norm.  These women all trot around in red souled shoes that regularly go for more than $1,000.00 a pair.  Sonja said she would come up with a fashion line, have it at fashion week and she did.  Judging from the video it was well received.  Whether or not she hit it out of the park is irrelevant-her two faced friends, two thirds of them who apologized to her  not too terribly long ago, are sitting around making cracks about her right before her show.  That is the story not whether or not her line is successful.  The two faces only prove what Sonja has been saying she doesn't need friends like these women.  Just because Sonja doesn't want a value line doesn't mean she can't be successful.  What won't happen with her marketing plan is seeing her clothes at TJMaxx or Ross or Marshall's where one sees a lot of Yummie and Skinny Girl products.  People have posted time and time again the successful gals have a lot of product that ends up in close out bins.

I don't think you can compare Heather's business success to any of the NY housewives.  Before Heather was on RHONY she was  already internationally known in the business, 2008 Oprah listed Yummie's tank as one of her favorite things, Heather was already in Nordstrom. Now she is in both Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom... plus you can buy online via her site and many others.   Beth got lucky and the show helped her in launching Skinny Girl.   With all that said even as well known as Heather and Yummie are I would never spend $1,500 on ANY housewife product.  To me it looks like Sonja is in way over head and how well does she even know these backers? It looks kinda shady and unprofessional to me.

OMG....poor Sonja - she actually has to work at her own fashion show??

That's what happens when you "hire" interns and only let them pour white wine into champagne glasses.....

Maybe all those buyers' seat place cards aren't there because they declined the invitation??

Wow - Ramona's chest is getting very, very red....shades of Alex red!!

She cannot handle being called out by Bethenny.  Although, enough already about the stupid dress (or dresses) from your cancelled TV show.

Am I the only one who can't help but wonder if those clothes were truly Sonja originals and not ripped off of a much lesser known "designer", or ripped off the racks somewhere entirely?

This episode was kind of a yawner.

Sonja's fashion show was chaotic but everyone liked her clothes so I guess it was a success. I wonder if these clothes will be sold in Macy's or on QVC?

I'm glad Bethenny called out Moaner on her big mouth and her bad behavior.

I enjoyed seeing Elie Tahari. His clothes are beautiful and he comes across as very charming and genuine.

Love, love, love Elie Tahari....now, THOSE are clothes!!  And, yes, he seems like a gracious gentleman.  I remember seeing him on an episode of "Project Runway" and he was a wonderful guest judge.  No snark, very complimentary when he could be, and offered real constructive criticism and sound advice when that was needed.

Sonja's fashion line is nice, but nothing special.  I think she, too, has designed "for the masses, not the classes", much the same way as Luann's line.  The only difference is price.  Sonja's seem overpriced to me.

Anyone else think it's really weird that we went two weeks with hardly any scenes with LuAnn?

What is wierd to me is that we are seeing zero interaction between Lu and Heather and Carole. Heather's whole deal this season has been that she and Lu made up after T&C. That they were fine and Lu made it look like they were having issues at the very end. They were sitting next to each other tonight at the show and it looked like they were getting along. Strange that Bravo isn't showing their interactions so that we can get an idea as to who is telling the truth.

So if Lady Morgan really was a model, how come the Bravo editing monkeys aren't inserting a pic or quick video package to substantiate these claims? Or is Sonja being liberal with her lingo and using model as another euphemism for escort--or more plainly, hooker?

That's one rumor I have heard; Sonja used to "keep company" with wealthy Saudis back in the day.

I kind of understand why Bethenny is battering her with the dress caper because Ramona seems to thinks that her actions are above reproach.  She never has really admitted that she took the dresses with the intent of not returning them.  For all of her protestations - the assistant said she could have the dress and she emailed Bethenny's office to find out where she should send the second dress - Bethenny soundly refuted those protests - and the next thing she said was that she would pay Bethenny.   I loved the look on her face when Bethenny said $545.  JMO but I think the only way to deal with Ramona's shady behavior is to put her on blast - regardless of whether it's Bethenny or anyone else.

They had a poll on WWHL asking people who they agreed with in the Bethenny vs Ramona argument.

It was  a landslide for Bethenny with 92% of the vote.   Sonja was on WWHL and even she said someone needed to call out Ramona for her BS.

I think you're more right than Sonja.  She does have a way of embellishing (and, no, not just jeans for charity, LOL!!!)

It doesn't fit the narrative. The whole stupid "they broke the girl code" and now they're not talking storyline.

Good for Sonja for having a show, but without buyers there, what was the point? It felt like a vanity project.

The Bethenny/Ramona fight was weird. I'm totally on Bethenny's side, but why did she accost her like that at a fashion show? And it all seemed to come out of nowhere. Pent-up anger? Producer driven?

Did you see how Ramona was perspiring? Her face was one greasy mess. She was so busted and she didn't know how to get out of it. Her usual line of "I'm not perfect; no one is perfect" just wasn't working. It was a "wrong place" kind of deal, but I have literally waited years for this. Years for someone to just tell Ramona exactly how ridiculous she is, so I will take it anyway I can get it.

The possibility of it being producer driven is a given.  However, I got the impression that Heather recently told Bethenny (exactly when I do not know) what Ramona said and Bethenny just wasn't waiting for the "right" moment to confront Ramona.  Then again, don't the HW's rules include one that says the right time for anything is always in front of the cameras?

MCM...........I'll take it anyway I can get it too was loving it and can't wait to see what happens next week and at the reunion.
