Ah whoops.  Sorry about that.

I also just found these quotes from Arthur Darvill from the Dallas Fan Days 2018 convention: Source

Quote

“Also, when we signed onto the show — I’m not a big fan of the first season, especially the first half, I thought ‘Aw, this is just a bit too…’ It was very much finding its way," Darvill said. "And it was a bit too serious. Especially for me, I was like ‘Oh god, this is just so dull and serious.’ So the second season for me was so much fun, and they gave me loads of really fun stuff to do. And I think it’s gotten better and better as the show’s gone along. And as they’ve found that they can actually write a comedy superhero program - still with heart and still with real characters and stuff. But I think they’ve really — the writing has really gotten very very good. So I’m really pleased that the show has really found its feet. And it’s quite unique in that universe, and amongst [the larger superhero genre].”

——

"I mean, there's characters on Legends that I just think are amazing," Darvill said. "Like, the fact that they got Beebo in. I'm so sad that I never got to work with a big fluffy blue thing. I just think it's the most amazing, hilarious invention."

Ok I'm finding everyone weirdly attractive in their counsellor costumes. ;) Especially Sara with the braids. Ray is presumably in his natural habitat here. Yeah Ava isn't happy to be hanging out with Constantine. And yay Maisie, TA and DP scenes.

To be fair Ava does look like she's over the whole thing, it's just her non group shots are just with him. ;) I hope Sara and Ray have some scenes/dialogue together. The last time we really got that was 201. I guess Z has the more cynical female POV to him most of the time.

You just gave me a flashback to my favourite, and also least favourite scary story as a kid.

So, it doesn't sound like NZ is in that episode. I guess it's possible that he did ask for time off this season.

Here’s Live+7 numbers for the premiere.  The full weekly report won’t be out until next week, but it looks like, at least for that day, the delayed viewing puts it only fractionally behind Arrow. (Source)

I wonder if these (the videos today and the Brandon/Nick/Caity video from before) are all for just one (musical) episode that we don't know about yet. I would think it takes longer for all the cast to record their songs.

TVLine gave Tala Ashe Performer of the Week this week, for her performance in Witch Hunt.

Quote

THE PERFORMER | Tala Ashe

THE SHOW | DC’s Legends of Tomorrow

THE EPISODE | “Witch Hunt” (Oct. 29, 2018)

THE PERFORMANCE | Even as the Arrowverse’s wild child doubles down on crazy — mixing magic with time travel — it still makes room for smart character work, such as when Ashe taps into Zari’s struggle with what she knows about the future and her inability to stop it.

That dilemma was touched on in the season opener, but with “Witch Hunt,” Ashe got to explore it in a different, deeper way. Visiting the Salem Witch Trials, Zari looked on as a woman, Jane, was ripped away from her daughter, to eventually be burned at a stake. Zari hoped to intervene and spare the lass a tragic loss, reminding Sara, “This is exactly what it’s like where I’m from” — a 2042 where A.R.G.U.S. has banned religion and hunts metas. “Tribalism, scapegoating, persecuting someone just because they’re different, while other people stand by and do nothing.”

Refusing to do nothing, Zari invited Jane to escape jail and flee with young Prudence, only to have that gesture rebuffed. “What kind of life is it going to be, where you died and she couldn’t protect you?” she asked the mother, Ashe’s face full of earnestness. “She’ll end up mad at herself. And mad at the world.”

When Prudence enlisted her fair(l)y (evil) godmother to save Mom and instead put her accuser’s feet to the not-so-proverbial fire, Zari counseled the girl to not teach the man so harsh a lesson — even though, the future proves out, the hearts of such people will never change. The way Ashe carried herself throughout the scene made clear it was a personally wounding, but important, truth for Zari to tell.

“People always fear what they don’t understand, and that fear turns them into monsters. But we can’t let it turn us into monsters. We have to be better than them,” she said, alluding to her own experience (and maybe even the world of today).

Love how the cast always seems to be having so much fun on set. And I'm still far from sold on Constantine, but Matt Ryan looks like a lot of fun and a good sport!

ETA - watched the video at the sneak peak link in Starfish35's above post, and don't worry Gary, I appreciated your Clue joke! (Clue FTW, always)

Live+7 Weekly Ratings: ‘D.C.’s Legends of Tomorrow’ Season Premiere Ranks Third in Adults 18-49 Percentage Gains

For the week of October 22, they also ranked #1 in percentage gains among total viewers.

CW Live+7 Ratings for the week of October 22:

  • The Flash - 1.32, 3.384 million.
  • Riverdale - 0.92, 2.429 million.
  • Arrow - 0.74, 2.033 million.
  • Legends of Tomorrow - 0.71, 2.031 million. (#401 - The Virgin Gary)
  • Charmed - 0.71, 1.991 million.
  • Supernatural - 0.69, 2.230 million.
  • Black Lightning - 0.67, 1.903 million.
  • Supergirl - 0.65, 2.206 million.
  • Legacies - 0.56, 1.785 million.
  • All American - 0.41*,  1.204 million.
  • Dynasty - 0.28, 0.840 million.
  • Crazy Ex-Girlfriend - 0.22, 0.561 million.

*Not on Top 40 report.

What I think is interesting is comparing the Live+SD rankings (here) to the Live+7 rankings.  Out of 12 network shows, Legends went from #8 to #4 in the 18-49 demo, and from #9 to #6 in total viewers.  It will be interesting to see whether this is a trend that will continue in future weeks.
