No lie, I let out a full on scream. That was a tough category and most pundits were predicting either Jeff Daniels or Benedict Cumberbatch so I believe Darren's surprise reaction was very real.

Happy for the Darren Criss win! I was not at all familiar with him before his role in Versace and he made me feel very dirty for thinking such a horrible person was attractive in any way. He sold the character and I'm glad he won!

Late joining in on the live discussion (work has been a pain) but only here to say I'm rooting so much for Milo Ventimiglia to win Best Actor. Nothing against Sterling who is brilliant and Randall is definitely the "showier" character but I feel like Milo's brillance is more subtle. And in my opinion, the show would not work as well as it has if they had miscast with Jack. I truly feel like his portrayal of Jack is central to the show. Also, yes Mandy Moore got screwed again.

I agree. I am rooting for Milo, but expecting Sterling to win. I love Sterling, but would really like Milo to get some love.

Sterling K. Brown's probably happy to be with Ron Cephas Jones, so everyone will remember This Is Us, and not that he's currently also in that horrible Predator movie as well (in his defense, Sterling was easily the highlight of that film.)
