Actor/boyfriend are HOT!!!!(tho not hot enough for me to know their names I guess) I still call the African bus driver guy (who is one of my favorite charactes) Van Damme. I really should learn his name since I know the names of my other two favorites Sun and NomiNow that I think about it, it has been a long time since I really loved a straight male character as much as I like Van Damme. justmehere June 8, 2015 Share June 8, 2015 Actor and boyfriend are Lito and Hernando, respectively. Re: the orgy: well, that could get a little inconvenient! (A little confusing, too, if one starts crossing their usual preferences.) Good thing Will (cop) was on his own in the gym and Wolfgang too (apparently) at the pool. Pretty much love Capheus altogether. I just want Sun to choose herself. I like Neets' mother - very earth mother vibe - and how she took Nomi in and accepted her story -- no wonder Neets did too. Are Nomi's troubles really rooted in a mother who can't accept who she is? It seems bigger than that. Much as I'm enjoying the series, they need to start moving the story forward more. We've got the concept now. 1 Link to comment

I know because I was super focused on whether or not they'd show him with an erection. That orgy was one of the hottest things I've seen on a TV show before and I usually am extremely averse to sex scenes in my shows, they do nothing for me. But this? This was masterful. JessePinkman June 9, 2015 Share June 9, 2015 (edited) What the hell was Capheus watching? Some muscled guy lifting a bathtub? Was that some kind of fetish porn? It was some Dolph Lundgren movie. Love the start of the recap of this episode from EW: The sixth episode of the season, “Demons,” is the most obvious example of that ethos so far. It’s an episode brimming with love and empathy, with shared experience and culture. Plus it culminates in a cross-continental sensate vision orgy, so hey, love and lust for everybody! And in case anyone was wondering what the song was during the orgy scene, it's Demons by Fatboy Slim featuring Macy Gray. Edited June 9, 2015 by JessePinkman Link to comment
thuganomics85 June 9, 2015 Share June 9, 2015 SenseOrgy! That sure answered my question about if the Sense8 can have sex with one another. They way it kept changing over being around Wolfang, Lito's boyfriend, and Martha Jones, was an interesting take. Bet all of those had to be crazy to shoot. Glad that Nomi and Martha Jones found a place to chill, and that the girlfriend's mother is cool not just about the relationship, but about what Nomi is currently experiencing at the moment. Considering what those two have been through, it's about time something good happens to them. This time it's Sun and Riley that get a big scene together. Really enjoyed it. I still wish Sun didn't go through with it, because again: the brother and father really don't deserve it. But she really is loyal to her mom, I guess. Hope she isn't stuck in jail for too long. Also enjoyed the Will/Riley scene, and them exchanging phone numbers was a hoot. Of course, thanks to the attack, now the squad thinks Will is some crazy guy, who randomly freaked out at the bar. Oh, Will. So, Van Damme's job now is to take the crime-lord's daughter to get treatment, because the crime-lord worries that if he uses one of his other men, they'll be attacked, so this is basically undercover. I guess that's nice (and the daughter is cool), but I have to think something bad is going to end up happening. OK, Indian's Gal fiancee is just being daft now. No way was that faint because she is that enamored over him. If he would pay attention, he would realize that she clearly just isn't end to him. Especially since he's now all about the Wolfgang, even though she doesn't want to admit it yet. 2 Link to comment
Atony June 9, 2015 Share June 9, 2015 I'm curious about the orgy. It seemed the sensates were actually "sharing" and going out of each's others bodies. At least Lito, Nomi and Will were (it did seem Wolfgang had a more passive role). So the logistics of that are interesting. Amanita was having sex with say Lito occupying Nomi's body. Hernando was having sex with Will occupying Lito's body. I wonder if this is something that is going to be talked about because I think in this situation it is a coversation someone would have to have with their significant other. Even outside of that just the fact that hey, tons of minds are actually in the room watching us while we are intimate with each other. 1 Link to comment
Chaos Theory June 9, 2015 Share June 9, 2015 (edited) I think the orgy was a beautiful way of showing the audience how connected several of the cluster already are. They feel what each other feels. What is more intense then sex; especially with someone you feel for. Edited June 9, 2015 by Chaos Theory 1 1 Link to comment
Captanne June 10, 2015 Share June 10, 2015 That was exactly Lito's point in the interview. Surprisingly beautiful; what he said. (He's not a bimbo and that's refreshing.) 5 Link to comment
dewrays June 10, 2015 Share June 10, 2015 The orgy was hot. I have never thought of two guys going at it as hot before. So are they saying that Will and Wolfie are bi ? Straight women are more fluid to have same sex experience. Have never seen a straight guy be up for it . Or are they so overcome by the emotions that they just go for it. It would have been hilarious if one of the character was homophobic and had participated in it. The confusion .... 1 Link to comment
Atony June 10, 2015 Share June 10, 2015 (edited) So are they saying that Will and Wolfie are bi ? The sensate bond shares everything between each other. Emotions, memories, skills etc, of course this includes sexual arousal. The way I saw it is thanks to their bond they no longer have just individual sexual orientations. Sure Lito was gay, Will was straight, but those inevitably become meaningless distinctions when who you are and what you feel is now linked to so many different people. Thus we saw Lito going at it with girls, Will going at it with boys. Edited June 10, 2015 by Atony 1 3 Link to comment
Chaos Theory June 10, 2015 Share June 10, 2015 (edited) I think we are thinking about it too simply. What would it be like to feel someone else's pain? Joy? Arousal? We are all islands in the middle of an ocean; basically alone; but the Sensates are not. Who cares what sexual orientation they are? In one glorious moment Will and Wolfgang got pulled into Lito and Nomi's joy. Edited June 10, 2015 by Chaos Theory 1 7 Link to comment
ahisma June 11, 2015 Share June 11, 2015 I think it's an interesting question, how the characters might have been before they awakened as sensate. We know that Nomi was out and proud and that Lito was accepting of himself as gay but closeted. But we really don't know how any of the other characters felt about LGBT people, or how much exposure they had to people with those identities. Actually, though we see some opposite sex attractions, we don't know if any of them were/are bi (even Nomi) or asexual. (Lito does seem genuinely discomfited by women in a sexual context in his real, non-sensate life.) We see homophobia and misogyny in the German and Kenyan gangster cultures. Might some of the sensates have been people who felt uncomfortable about gay or trans people before, even if just from unconscious bias or ignorance? I think the sensate experience, though, gives them such an immediate access to the emotions of their cluster mates that they are immediately overwhelmed by, "This is a feeling human being, just like I am." Total empathy, no "otherness." 1 2 Link to comment

SanLynn June 15, 2015 Share June 15, 2015 (edited) They were sleeping? Well, from a story perspective it's because "It wouldn't fit into their narratives all that well" but I figure the justification is just "in the wrong time zone to get caught up in it". That would actually make sense if Wolfgang hadn't been involved. But yeah I agree it doesn't really fit their narrative. Although it would have been interesting to see them get some sensate feedback out of it. I suspect Kala in particular would have freaked out. LOL Still it seemed like Capheus may have had some kind of reaction to it since he had to adjust himself in the Van Damme and looked around like something had happened. Either way it was a great scene and really showed how deep their bond is becoming, even though they don't really understand it. I thought I caught Wolfgang being more active in the Lito/Hernando bedroom portion of events but I couldn't be sure. He did seem particularly passive in the pool though. Given what happened with Nomi and Will when they ended up in the hospital (although Will just blew the nurse off when she talked about odd brain activity and walked out) Wolfgang and Kala are lucky they didn't have repercussions from their fainting spells. Although neither of them had the nightmare of a parent that Nomi did who was willing to believe who she is is all because of a brain problem. Or in Wolfgang's case no parents at all. But Kala's parents just taking her home was surprising. Lucky for her I suspect but surprising all the same. I wish Sun had let her father and brother rot instead of taking the blame for them. I understand why she felt she had to do it but they definitely don't deserve her. I liked her and Riley's conversation though. It was nice to see them together as I don't think they've interacted at all even on a small level. Edited June 15, 2015 by SanLynn 1 Link to comment

RachelKM August 29, 2015 Share August 29, 2015 (edited) Late to the party; I just found this show. But my thoughts on who was pulled into the sex or any moment with another cluster moment has to do with mood and situation, at least for the accidental moments of finding one another. If their emotions or needs are in sympathy in someway they find each other. Will and Lito seemed to roll into each other initially while they were both working out and stayed there through it merging to sexy times. And working out can be its own form high and euphoria. Then of course Nomi was already in bed with Neets. And finally Wolfgang was relaxing and naked and then saw a woman that reminded him a Kala which probably turned his thoughts to sex, but in a much less active and er... vigorous way, so he sort of more passively drifted in. So all four of them were in congruous moods . Even Capheus, watching a particularly thrusty part of his action film got pulled in for moment. Conversely, Riley and Sun were feeling isolated and traumatized and would not have been in a frame of mind to merge into that sort of vibe. They were, however, feeling in a similar enough manner to find one another. Sort of like when Sun and Capheus found each other when they were both trying to make serious decisions for their families. Other times they found one another when they want or need something from one another. Edited August 29, 2015 by RachelKM 9 Link to comment

shrewd.buddha January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 (edited) So that was the infamous orgy episode. I'll admit it was fun to watch in a sort of soft porn, ambiguously writhing, controlled nakedness way. But story-wise, it did not seem that anything special caused the clusterfuck to happen and there appeared to be no significant change in events after the clusterfuck was over. So from a story point of view it seem mostly gratuitous. (tho entertaining) It made me wonder what else happened during the episode and the following stood out for me : Capheus doesn't do sex scenes. The Nigerian was noticeably absent during the orgy, which I took as a result of scheduling issues or that the actor did not not want to do semi-naked scenes. The character was not doing anything special at the time besides sitting in a bus. I suppose we will see if Capheus ever does sex scenes in future episode. The policeman Will and Riley the DJ 'share' a beer in a bar , exchange phone numbers and even actually talk to one another. Immediately after, Riley is attacked and is nearly killed but Will mentally connects and helps her overpower her attackers. But then Will never gives it a second thought. He doesn't wonder what happened to her? He even has her phone number now -- even if he doesn't know how to make a telepathic connection. It also appeared to be bright daylight during the 'orgy time' in both Nigeria and Mexico. I only noticed because the show mostly does a good job of realizing that some characters would have be up during the middle of the night to connect to other characters half way around the world. I continue to enjoy the show, despite the need for fanwanking or suspension of disbelief. But I'm ready for some believable behavior now that the characters realize that the others are not imaginary and they can exchange phone numbers. They could at least follow one another on Facebook and Twitter. Edited January 6, 2016 by shrewd.buddha 3 Link to comment
myril January 7, 2016 Share January 7, 2016 You bring up interesting points So that was the infamous orgy episode. (tho entertaining) Different view here. From my view the orgy showed, that their connection goes beyond the usual mind connection (someone can read someone' thoughts), but is a connection of minds, senses, everything. They feel each other, they feel through each other, and the connection goes further. We got glimpses of that before, but in theses scenes it was more than obvious. And it was shared between more than two sensates at a time. As it was showing that things like sexual orientation likely for a sensate can be quite a different experience, or as I would say, their experience goes beyond such limitations. I think about it further: They shared an intimacy with each other while being intimate with what comes closes in our non-sensate world to the idea of soulmate, a person we are deeply in love with, at least in the case of Lito and Hernando and Nomi and Amanita. It raises to me a lot of questions as it gives a hunch for potential conflicts. So I didn't find the orgy any gratuitous, aside that it was one of the most beautifully photographed sex scenes I've seen on screen. Capheus doesn't do sex scenes. Think Capheus got a little excited too, his surprised look down himself had something to do with that, just that it puzzled him, that watching a Van Damme video could have such effects on him. Otherwise, looking at his scenes in this episode, there was story telling wise not much space to get him into some nice flirt with a girl or boy or whoever or into at least exercise sweating, Capheus story was not in any way at a point to get him more involved. Possible we might see future sex scenes with him as well, when it fits into Capheus story. While though I'm sure a lot of fans hope for more, as I am sure the writers won't shy away to go for more, doubt they will make it just to service fans. You're right, it is strange, that we don't see Will calling Riley, to be sure she is okay and ask what she will do now, offer help. Think he did know, she got at least away for the moment. And there was enough going on for himself. But it's a good question. It also appeared to be bright daylight during the 'orgy time' in both Nigeria and Mexico. I only noticed because the show mostly does a good job of realizing that some characters would have be up during the middle of the night to connect to other characters half way around the world. Not impossible, though sure wouldn't be high noon in both places, but that was not the impression I had anyway. Daylight, yes, not the same time of day though. Possible that is was late afternoon in Nairobi, Mexico was late morning then, as would be Chicago, San Francisco early morning. I didn't check in detail on all moments, but think they did a quite good job with the time zones and daylight/night time differences of the locations. Filming on location and not stand-in location might have helped to get it quite right, mostly, because of sun position. Otherwise there are of course some neat tools around to know not just the time differences but as well position of sun and moon at any time at any place. I continue to enjoy the show, despite the need for fanwanking or suspension of disbelief. But I'm ready for some believable behavior now that the characters realize that the others are not imaginary and they can exchange phone numbers. They could at least follow one another on Facebook and Twitter. Not everyone is using Facebook and Twitter, and I'm not talking of baby-boomers and older. You will have a harder time to find people in Germany for example using Twitter. As it drives me crazy how many people I know maybe having an account on Facebook and maybe elsewhere but barely using it. So many still insisting to do phone calls. Unless they have to get into the modern digital world because of their job. But aside of that, think they are not all yet sure how real the others are. It might feel like we're watching them for weeks, but the time gone by in this episodes are just a few days at best. 4 Link to comment
Paloma June 28, 2017 Share June 28, 2017 Guess I'm in the minority here, but I'm not a fan of the Lito-Hernando-beard story. Lito is fine as a character, and I liked the twist of him being gay, but I don't like the beard (sorry, I don't remember her name, probably because I don't like her) and get annoyed every time they pause the cluster connection plot to show her pushing herself into the apartment and bed of Lito and Hernando. I guess at this point we're supposed to think that Lito and Hernando are fine with this, but that seems unrealistic because at least initially they both seemed to want to get rid of her (or at least to keep her out of their real personal life). I feel like the relationship as now shown is just intended to please viewers who want more sex scenes. (Yes, I am a prude, and I was also uncomfortable with the orgy scene, although after seeing the comments here I understand the point.) What I'm hoping to get more of is an increasing number of mental connections between the members of the cluster and seeing how they can help each other and also unite to defeat the forces of evil (I'd also like to get a better idea of what those forces are and where Daryl's and Naveen's characters fit in). Aside from that, Will, Sun, and Riley are my favorite characters and I really enjoy seeing them connect with each other as well as with the others. Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo August 2, 2017 Share August 2, 2017 Yikes, poor Will. They are all just getting used to seeing each other and then he gets hit with Riley's suffocation. That alone would be terrifying enough, but having it happen in a public place with people you know makes it even worse. Silly me - here I was thinking that poor naked Wolfgang was being left out of all the sexy times and then he ended up being part of it even though he was alone in the pool! And once again, poor Will. You really do not want to be the weirdo who is nutting his pants at the gym in front of everyone. I am still hoping that Sun finds a way to get out of taking the fall for her spoiled brat of a brother. I don't know how, but man, I really want her to get out of prison and enjoy life. Was Daniela taking pictures of Lito and Hernando on her phone? I still don't trust her. Similarly, I can't decide who I feel about Rajan. The things that he says to Kala are very modern and forward thinking, and I'm all for it, but I still feel like he has some kind of ulterior motive, like he chose her because she's beautiful and educated so that she can be a symbol of his movement, not because he actually is interested in her as a person. Man, I just know that something is going to happen to that little girl and Capheus is going to get in trouble. Wouldn't it be less suspicious if they had other people on the bus? Having him drive an easily recognizable bus with only one passenger seems like it would be more noticeable to her father's enemies, especially since all they'd have to do is follow the fleet of black sedans leaving her father's compounds and taking her to the bus. I like that Will and Riley have each other's phone numbers now. That seems as more reliable way to communicate than accidentally stumbling into each other's lives at random moments. I just wish he had used her phone number to see if she was okay. Then again, since he has encountered so many of the others in their group, maybe he wasn't sure who it had actually happened to? The one weird thing to me is that if something like this were happening to me, I would be asking the other people lots of questions besides "Where am I?" I would want first and last names, contact info, and any information they had on the others (like how many other people have you seen, where were they, do you know how many of us there are, does it always happen at the same time of day, etc). But they seem perfectly fine just drifting in and out of each other's lives. Riley actually voluntarily left when she was drinking with Will, saying she should go to bed. I, on the other hand, would have been grilling him about who the hell Jonas is and what else Jonas has told him. 2 Link to comment
