  1. To me the reveal that Boone was only pretending to be gay was fairly silly. I don't understand why that would have been necessary plot wise, and everyone loved the scenes with him and Chad in the premiere. Why invalidate that? And him putting on that fake "uber-gay" voice in that scene this episode just rubbed me the wrong way.
  2. No, no one has openly voiced that suspicion. We briefly saw him last season. He is wealthy and he is domineering. Outside of that we don't have details but Frank implied in the season premiere he isn't a good guy. That led some people to suspect drug cartel involvement. This show is Viola Davis. They accommodate her by only doing as many episodes in a season she is willing to do (which is why their seasons are 15 eps instead of the network standard of 22)
  3. To start with the shallow, have you seen Connor? He is sexy, I guess looks can be subjective but in-universe we have been told multiple times that Connor is very good looking. But he is also rather dangerous and fun, kind of a bad boy archetype (at least s1 Connor). You can tell Oliver was living a pretty boring IT-guy life and he loves what Connor has given him, he jumps at the chance to do all this illegal hacking for him. The reverse situation is a little more complicated I'd say. But I think Connor loves how Oliver grounds him, his life was going off the deep-end without him. I was kind of upset they tamed his casanova character already, but I get their relationship and I think the actors have good chemistry together that makes it believeable.
  4. This is random, but since the university is in Southern California it seems like all the characters are wearing a ton of clothes. It is August/September and they are all in these long sleeve/long pants layered ensembles from what I remember.
  5. Definitely agree. I feel like a show centered around Chad and his frat would work better. The Chanels, Grace and Keke aren't really doing it for me and they are main characters.
  6. Having caught up with this show I am now realizing it is supposed to be a live action cartoon. If this was animated you could see it on Adult Swim or Comedy Central or something, just silly and demented. So I will try to only judge it by "Does it entertain me?" so far it does enough. I thought the pilot was way too forced( that coffee scene), but the recent episode had some bits that made me laugh (ice cream cone fight, backstreet boys fight, white noise generator). The problem is I don't know how much thought to put into this whole killer/killers mystery. Boone's death was ruled a suicide? Given he was alive and just got up and walked out that speaks of a big cover up. Or maybe it just doesn't matter. The guy the plays Chad, Lea Michele and Niecy Nash I guess are working the best for me so far. They seem to "get" this show and actually make me laugh.
  7. Yep, I am fine with Theo's character but the writing for his plan was idiotic. He wants Scott's pack to follow him and they can all be evil together? How the hell did he actually think that was ever going to work out? The character is supposed to be smart so I don't see how he is stupid enough to think Lydia or Stiles are really going to follow him.
  8. Yep, that is the biggest reason why I really enjoyed the earlier seasons. It was supernatural teen drama, it was fun and character based. Now they decide to jam so much plot and focus on the villians and redshirts with a supposed focus on making it "darker". I don't mind darker, but darker doesn't mean better and when you don't have time to just breath and develop these characters it isn't a good thing. Still, this string of episodes has been decent. Certainly better than 4 and 3A. Like someone else said, at this point I have accepted I'll be here til the bitter end.
  9. Yeah given the Stiles/Scott friendship and how deep it goes, I can't believe Stiles actually think Scott would "break up" with him over this. I mean sure Scott isn't going to be happy about it, but he is understanding and he is known for forgiving everyone, even when they don't deserve it! Obviously he would forgive Stiles for a self-defense death. And yes, the moment between Kira and her Mother was nice but long overdue. Why wouldn't she immediately go ask her Mom when she started having these issues? It can't be guilt. I hope that was just Stiles talking out of his ass. Yeah no way Peter or Kate felt guilty, and more important it seems a stupid rule. If the eye color change was done by the people who cursed them in the first place is to identify werewolves who are dangerous, having it not work on ones that don't feel guilty is the most idiotic loop hole of all time. Those would be the ones you would need to be most afraid of.
  10. The joke in that scene was actually the bartender was telling the new hire he could make 1k a night in tips, asked him to show what he had, and at the sight of his abs/chest he said "well maybe less". What I did miss in that scene is what did Liam overhear the bartender saying that made him suspect Hayden(?) was a chimera? They use CGI to do the eyes. And yeah I hope the show addresses why Malia's eyes are blue and why Theo's are not at some point soon and that isn't left unresolved. We don't really know his motivation right now. That is why I have a hard time making sense of his actions because we have no clue what he wants. It probably won't be revealed for a while, and when it is I doubt it will make his actions anymore logical though. (I still shudder thinking of the "explanation" of the benefactor plot ) What I am worried about with this season is it has already been revealed that 5B will have the Dread Doctors as well, so what is actually going to be resolved in 5A?
  11. Lol, you could say the same thing about the MASSIVE number of people that have been killed working at the Hospital and the Sheriff's department in the last couple of years. I'm pretty sure living in Beacon Hills and lung cancer have about the same five year survival rate.
  12. I don't dislike them, but Jeff Davis is deluded if he thinks a lot of the audience would stick around for a cast of Liam/Mason/what's her name/Brett. He should ask Ryan Murphy how well it worked when you try to replace the cast the audience has fallen in love with over multiple seasons for new versions of the characters.
  13. I believe that was all a hallucination. As we saw from the first episode Lydia will end up in Eichen House by the end of the season. They were redshirts, we hadn't met them before. Agreed. I can accept the supernatural creatures. But seriously, you are asking me to accept this highschool sophomore girl is a bouncer and alcohol server at this gay bar? Also nice of a small town like Beacon Hills to have two giant gay clubs (before it was the Junge, now this was Sinema). Was that scene with Brett supposed to say he was bisexual? Guess he will definitely end up being a love interest for Mason. Yeah so far I am finding his evilness and manipulative antics entertaining. At comic-con Jeff Davis said they envisioned him as a Joffrey, a character the audience could just love to hate. So far I am enjoying this season. After the disaster of last season I was ready to completely give up on this show but so far I am glad I stuck around.
  14. I actually thought that was consistent. Any sensate can "visit" another sensate they have made eye contact. When they visit they are technically just a voice in their head and they see what the sensate they are visiting sees. We see Jonas visit with Nomi and Will. We see Yrsa vist with Riley. This is all Whispers was doing. Visiting Will, being able to talk to him and see what Will sees. The point Whispers was making, is it makes it nigh impossible for Will to hide from him when Whispers is able to visit him and see his location and who is around him.
  15. The sensate bond shares everything between each other. Emotions, memories, skills etc, of course this includes sexual arousal. The way I saw it is thanks to their bond they no longer have just individual sexual orientations. Sure Lito was gay, Will was straight, but those inevitably become meaningless distinctions when who you are and what you feel is now linked to so many different people. Thus we saw Lito going at it with girls, Will going at it with boys.
