From the same Dr. Rick commercial the woman trying to take the drinks from people before they finished cracks me up every time. My grandmother was just like that. She was always throwing out drinks if she saw them alone or tried to if you were almost done. You learned quickly not to leave your drink alone no matter what even if you had to go the bathroom because she would throw it out. Every time. I don't know why.

The commercial with a dad giving his adult son advice about starting a lawnmower (pull fast, not hard) and birds being as afraid of the son as vice versa makes me chuckle every time.  The punch line is when the son asks a question about his finances and dad says “you know I hate giving advice.”  100% predicable, but their facial expressions and dad’s intentional deadpan delivery are really funny.

That said, I guess it’s not an effective commercial (for me at least) since I had to look up that it’s a MassMutual ad.

The new King Soopers commercial with the kid looking in the window and sees the neighbor all alone. The kid sneaks around taking cookies and leaves a plate of cookies at the neighbors door who opens the door and looks surprised but happy. The kid goes home to parents who realize what he did and take dinner over to the neighbor who invites them in and they have dinner together. It makes me cry every time it's so sweet.

I just saw that one a few days ago and cracked up because of the actors.  I love the son's face when the dad tells him about the birds.

It may not be my favorite commercial but there is a new Instacart ad I've seen in the last few days. It seems they have replaced the terrible "up in here" vomit with a lovely version of Life After Love about some friends getting food for their newly moved in friend who has nothing in his fridge. It's a breath of fresh air to me.

Yeah, I saw this yesterday for Kroger. So sweet.

I love the Waldo commericals of Etsy. I've always loved Waldo from the magazine, to Naked Gun the Final insult to Youtube videos, I love when ever he pops up. Everyone in the commerical pointing him out cracks me up. I like his girlfriend wears red and white and so does his dog.

I love the Old Spice commericals on Youtube. One shows a guy and his girlfriend with popcorn about to watch a TV. He lifts his arm and his girlfriend immediately passes out. He's stink is apparently that bad. The other one the guy waking up in bed as she comes in he stretches which means lifts his arm and she immediately hits the floor. They both make me laugh every time.

It plays as a Kroger commercial here. I love the little Kroger people and have for years. This is probably the sweetest one, though.

I just saw this ad for the first time! First I saw the red boots, strutting along and I was hoping to hear the BeeGees.  Sure enough, that music started up. And there was Santa, at the pizza slice window, grinning. What a clever ad!

I love that one! I only seen it once but it was so cool. I love all the different mascots together.

It's not quite a "favorite", but I am glad to see that an oldie-but-goodie has resurfaced.   Woman lounging with cat hears a child yell from another room "Mom! I fell!".  So she shouts back that the kid should get a bandage from the cupboard -- kid replies that she's bleeding -- mom & cat ogle each other fondly & mom shouts back:  "Take 2!"

I recall some people reacting negatively to that commercial in the past, but I think the woman with the cat has her priorities in order (i.e., just like mine....). 🐈‍⬛🐈

I love the actor playing the mom's line delivery in that one, especially on "get two".  To me, it plays like the kid is one of those who loves to claim they need a bandage for every slightest thing (this was not unheard of when I was a kid, because we had bandages with cartoon characters on them), so she knows they don't actually need any attention and responds accordingly.

I also chuckle with this one because that kid is way too calm for it to be an emergency also the kid sounds like an older child who knows where the band-aids are and can apply them correctly. It's obvious to me that this is not some kind of situation where stitches are needed nor is there going to be a huge mess that needs to be cleaned up. Mom could interrupt the Queen of the Household (or king) to go and check but it's a total nothingburger, and then mom is going to have to endure the cat's whole getting comfy routine all over again. And who wants to get poked by cat claws while having a cat butt in their face?
