I thought the original bathroom was in the house and the laundry and half bath are in the addition. There is no room at all for a bath upstairs, because of the eaves and the three rooms. Well maybe a half bath or 3/4 one.

IMO, that house doesn't even have good bones, is in pretty rough shape and very cut up. It would take a lot of work to make any serious profit off it when they sell. I think they would have to put a bathroom upstairs and make a bedroom suite, with a nursery nook and turn the downstairs into an open concept, with a bathroom/laundry room and it would make a good starter home.

If I were them, I'd only do cosmetic work and sell as soon as the market improves.

And I think he doesn’t really care what people wear. Or how they show their bodies.  Be a real Christian and love everyone.  The Jesus you believe in is NOT the Jesus you think he is.

Absolutely.  And uniforms.  I am a sucker for a man in uniform.  Impure thoughts abound!  🤣🤣🤣🤣  But that is what is so stupid about what they think. Jill, women are JUST as capable of eyeing up a man.  Even IF the man is covered neck to toe. But they don’t have to be as covered, like you proclaim women need to be. A lot of us can get all riled up looking at a man in a military/police/fire uniform.  Or a suit and tie.  And you don’t get more covered up than that.

Jill has just posted on Facebook that her mother has suffered another stroke and is hospitalized in Ohio again. That poor woman! Jill of course included pictures of her in the hospital bed.

Jill writes like Pat will read her post. Pat's in very bad condition, worse than before. I'm glad that she's going to rehab rather than home this time. Tim the Original can't take care of her now, maybe not ever. This is playing out a lot like my mother's trajectory. She had a long stay in rehab, home for a month and had her third stroke. She lingered for two weeks in the hospital before she passed away.

I hope the walking down the aisle at her grand daughter's wedding was worth it 😔

Ma has probably had a major setback, especially if she's back in an Ohio hospital and Pa is looking into rehab. Either way, it's an opportunity for Jill to turn her sadness into money.

I find it interesting Jill's dad, the ever faithful husband, best husband the hospital people had ever seen because he was there everyday, etc, was able to leave mom to be at Jill's on thanksgiving, after mom had a stroke and took 10 steps backwards in her progress.....

Mama is probably relieved to be away from the tender care of her family, constantly pushing her to do stuff that is too difficult for her; that's why she looks better.  The doctors and nurses are realistic about her situation and aren't forcing her to perform like a trained seal all the time.   Her current situation is typical of the kinds of things that happen once an elderly person breaks a hip.

It’s obvious that forcing ma to walk down the aisle injured her tremendously. Broken hip is no joke.

She is definitely more comfortable in a hospital setting than laying in a hospital bed in the living room where everyone is walking by and disturbing her peace.

Let's just hope this hospital stops the Rodrigues circus from invading.   Ma probably looks better because she has peace and quiet instead of Jill shrieking at her she needs to walk down the aisle at Kaylee's wedding and then "fixing" her hair which probably messed with the shunt.

Hopefully BME will be so busy decorating at the Barndo and getting ready for Nurthan Christmas visit she won’t have time to dash off to Ma’s bedside. JillR only makes time for Ma when it’s in JillR’s interest, either for grifting or sad posts ie JillR just feels like flopping on her bed & weeping. Once again it’s all about her.

In all realistic fairness, Pa Turtleneck probably did spend part of Thanksgiving day with Ma.  I’m going to venture a guess and say that she is in the ICU dealing not only with her latest stroke, but with a fractured hip that is still healing AND the multitude of other issues that are still very much present.  So limits on visiting hours.  The poor guy looks tired and worried in the dinner pic.  I do feel badly for him.  I wonder if he is staying at the barndo or if Jill has not offered him the spare room because of precious Nurie coming home in a month?

I have no problem with Pa being at the barndo for thanksgiving.  I was only pointing out Jill's previous over the top dad as best godly husband ever posts.

No idea how they got Ma down the aisle, but the telling picture of ma's condition at the wedding for me was in the pic of the entire Noyes clan up by the altar, all posed looking at J&K kissing and ma is staring right straight ahead at the camera. No one even thought to turn her chair in the right direction or anything. Same with the reception. The pics of everyone entering and no one turned ma's chair so she could see this. She was probably exhausted by then. But i think she is more disconnected and has made less progress than Jill would have us believe when the miracle walk down the aisle idea came about.

Surely this hardship for ma will soon be turned to be an attack by satan against Jill and her godly family.

I've spent a lot of time in the hospital setting and don't find them peaceful at all. Seeing as Ma & Pa live alone, I'm going to guess its much quieter there than in the hospital.

Considering this was Michigan week and the game was at OSU, there was no peace and quiet anywhere near that hospital all week.  At least until the 4th quarter.  It's probably been pretty quiet since, though.

I say this having attended THE Ohio State University and living on campus or its immediate vicinity for 7 football seasons.

Yes, they live across the yard from Amy in WV. But OSU is the closest hospital to aid in her kind of trauma. She originally went to a hospital in WV, but was quickly airlifted to Ohio.

Their home in West Virginia is not far from Ohio and the big medical centers in Columbus get a lot of patient transfers from hospitals there.  We used to get a lot of transfers of trauma patients as well as complicated pregnancies from West Virginia back when I was a resident in the '80's.  Still very common today.

I am certain that Ma walking up the aisle at the wedding was Jill's desire, not Ma's. Nothing wrong with Ma opting out of the wedding as it would be too much stimulation for the woman. Jill's agenda is what counts; not what her mother needs.

Justin and Kristen Nicole Young have built a house with a lot of acreage that easily costs $2,000,000+ and that’s not counting all of the new furniture/furnishings that they’ve purchased to go in it.  How???  How does a man, who manages automatic car washes, has a wife who doesn’t work and has 4 kids, afford that?

Just wanted to talk about the bolded stuff. I agree. I suppose there's no one "right" way for a family to respond to a medical situation such as Jill's mother is in. I'm not advocating for a passive attitude, and I know there's a lot to be said for an optimistic activist approach on the part of the patient's nearest and dearest.

But at least as expressed by JillR, there seems to be so much denial and obstinate "God and Jesus will cure her!! We'll show the world a miracle because Jesus loves us best!" stuff going on. Not, "we know this is serious stuff, and we're going to work with ma's docs and nurses and rehab therapists to help her recover as best she can." Just "we're gonna pray to Jesus and have a miracle and fix ma up with makeup and hair products no matter what. Oh, my poor mother, I'm so upset by her medical problems, and by the way there's a GoFundMe to help with the dire and drastic money situation!" No it's not logical. A combo of "oh how tragic" and "oh poor Mom, I'm so upset" and "we're praying to Jesus for a miracle and by the way he loves us best which you can see because she walked down the aisle at a wedding." AARGH.

And OMG, the "miracle" walk down the aisle. Because, every bride's grandmother is spozed to walk down the aisle at her wedding? What's the big effing deal how grandma gets to her seat as long as she's there when the ceremony starts? Sheesh. Sure, it's nice to see grandma escorted to her seat on the arm of a handsome young usher or her own husband, but FFS I just don't see how it's such a big deal as Jill was making of it. Let the woman be comfortable so she can enjoy the wedding instead of being put on display. I'm not convinced it was Ma who was fixated on that "aisle walk" anyway; I think it was more Jill than anyone else. 

IMO Ma's well-being and comfort takes a back seat to JillR's need to show off.

Even if Ma WANTED to walk down the aisle, it is fine to be encouraging and supportive of her goal but also to make it clear that her presence, walking or not, was the most important thing and, if it seemed the walk was too much, then sit down and ride like the queen she is.  Decorate her damn** wheelchair and let her know it's all about her presence and doing whatever is needed to make that happen.

Also make sure she has the option to opt out of anything at any time and assign someone to take her outside or even back to the hotel whenever she wanted.

 Jill lives in a fantasy reality tv show / soap opera of her own creation. Look at my Hunk and our wonderful Godly traveling RV family life. Oh look we live in Amish country isn’t it a wonderful life ?

My wonderful hunk is such a hard working provider for our family. He even fixes our RV. And he takes me out on wonderful date nights just the 2 of us. Blah blah blah.

and I sell plexus and my wonderful hubster lets me and approves of me making income.
