We may all agree that David Rodriques is quite unfortunate looking, but let's refrain from comparing human beings to apes, its got way too much of a loaded history- please review the new Inclusion Policy updated May 1, 2022 , which details guidelines around discussing body type, capabilities, physical appearance etc. Additionally, using body size as an insult is not allowed.

If this trip is to the Amish neighbor's farm like the last few years, expect to see the "children" playing in the corn kernels, posing with animals and pumpkins along with mama posing with the mums on display.

Interesting Jill's skirt from the pumpkin trip last year is the same one she wore for old fashion weekend this past weekend. She usually doesn't repeat outfits.

She looks like a 1980s White Snake video reject.

But seriously, Jill, the Bible doesn't look too kindly on vanity. "Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought..." Romans 12:3.

She is trying to look sexy. Jill really missed her calling as a 90s video vixen. You can so see she wants that.

And that filter!

That must be her official old-fashion [sic] country girl outfit. It's in the costume section of her closet along with Plexus-pushing Nashville cowgirl, modest-denim drainage-ditch diver, and silver-coated mother of the graduate.

If she priced her Etsy stuff properly, she might have Halloween business. The silver schmatta has excellent costume potential.

Those first four photos, at least, make her look like she was auditioning for a Playboy spread.  I wonder if David ever looks at the pics she posts?  Too weird.

she might be. petite means short, I  think 5'3" or less. I have bought things in petites if the sleeves run long in misses size, guess i have short arms lol

5'4" or less, usually. Petite sizing doesn't refer to what we usually call size; it refers to sizes proportioned for shorter people. I'm a shortie. There's way more to getting something fitted properly for me than just cutting some length off a standard size.

Topic: That "fundie vixen" look is barftastic.

The adjustment to proportions would increase the stuffed sausage look for Jill.  The shoulder to bust length is reduced along with the rise in pants or the waist to hip length in skirts or dresses.  Long sleeves will adjust for shorter shoulder to elbow length, etc.

Aw, bless her heart.

adjective: vintage

Similar: high-quality, quality, prime, superior

denoting something of high quality, especially something from the past or characteristic of the best period of a person's work.

Not one item of clothing she's selling is vintage.  It's not even "almost" vintage.

That’s not a bad dress. I would wear it if it didn’t have long sleeves but I am 67 not in my 20s. I think the dress is too old for the model but she probably never wore it because Jill would not let her girls wear  something's that looks half way decent.

Where are all of these dresses coming from?  Did Jill seriously buy them from Shein and mark up the original prices to sell them under her own Etsy shop?  I don't think that's legal.  My guess is she's desperate for cash but it goes against logic to sell clothing when she still has young girls at home who can grow into them eventually.  Or she could, you know, donate them because she's such a Christian and all.

"Almost vintage" maybe Etsy did wake up and decide to enforce policy.   Jill is trying to avoid getting the shop shut down.

I will bet you dollarss to donuts one of her "girls" bought the dress for her to have back since it "meant so much to her and just broke her heart to have to list it."

Jill, those pics of you are not very modest.

Why is Nurie's hair covering the front of the dress? I guess it's for the same reason that Jill had the camera set on her face and mop of hair instead of on the outfit when she was doing her sexy runway walk for that print skirt and brown sequined top number.

Jill doesn't realize that modeling isn't about the model; it's about the item being shown. Narcissism just gets in the way of everything.

I am curious about Jill’s SHIPPING policy.  It was years ago but I sold a bunch of books/DVDs over Amazon and it often meant shipping within 24 hours of purchase.   Does Jill do that?   With all her grifting for Jebus and free trips with David what happens if something sells when she is away, busy or just angry at the world for not appreciating how holy she is?

someone needs to take the hit and buy something when Jill is noticeably not around.

She is going through the closets and picking out things they don't want anymore.

I don’t think they’re that desperate for cash.  They bought concessions at the pumpkin patch and that set them back at least $20, not counting the money spent on pumpkins.

I think some of this stuff is from Goodwill or other outside sources. Jill has a dress in size XL marked as sold. No female in the Rodrigues house would need  that size, even when pregnant.

Frankly, she'd do better selling a variety of sizes. The grandmothers in her circle might be in a better position to send her money than would an underfed young mother trying to manage a home and ten kids on a lazy husband's salary.

So basically, she goes to good will and gets things for under $5 (my Goodwill is priced at that for almost everything) and then resells it for $$$.

You have to admire the grift.   It really is too bad she’s not  allowed to work outside the home.   So many jobs she would be qualified for.  So many low activity high grift jobs she could do.    She could be the wolf of cultland.    Heck she should drop this pipe dream of being on reality tv and just start her own cult.

What’s funny about this to me is, her hair was covering the front of the dress until she turned around and flipped her hair so that it was then covering the back.

In the reseller world vintage is defined as something that is 20 or more years old.

At least the heavy shoulder pads are visible in this shot. I kept some stuff from the '80s and tried removing the pads. The garment is cut to accommodate the pads, so the shoulders just have an empty bump without them. Not good.

Like Jill, Nurie seems to be having a bad hair day too. I wonder what's going on, where it's going on, and why Nurie is a part of it.

Since Nurie is "modeling" it must have been during the once a year family vacation. Jill was pissed then and kept everyone up all night talking and crying about family unity in this evil world and all.

But she must have had the modeling photo shoot planned ahead to have all the clothes along for the modeling with the shelf, plants, floral pics in the background. Just like the Samuel and Brianne courting photo shoot was pre planned and costumes brought along to the rehearsal.

The newer pics with the dark curtains are in the upstairs attic guest room at the barndo.

When was it Jill had an announcement and people were guessing modest clothing sales?

Nurie was just in Ohio because there was apparently no place between Florida and Ohio for them to go when they evacuated for the hurricane, so some of the stuff just posted got posed then?

Nurie is a mother of 3 small children she doesn't have time to do her hair.  What is Jill's excuse?

Haha I always removed those shoulder pads back in the day. Every single time.

I thought about that too. That would mean the trip was more "mama is starting a new business and wants me to model" than hurricane safety. How would none complaining Nurie ever say no?

What she did to Janessa at the pumpkin patch was criminal. Why shove a fake spider in her face when she's afraid of bugs? Poor baby was petrified and while we couldn't hear her screaming, we sure saw it. And Jill just laughed. Horrible, horrible person.

I'm not sure if this is allowed but

Psychological abuse, often known as emotional abuse or mental abuse or psychological violence, is a form of abuse characterized by a person subjecting or exposing another person to a behavior that may result in psychological trauma, including anxiety, chronic depression, clinical depression or post-traumatic stress

All of them laughed. Dave and Gabe were shown still laughing ever after Janessa was in tears.

This was even worse than the bad taste jelly bean thing where Olivia or Sadie got some horrible tasting thing and cried and almost vomited while Jill and all the older children laughed and told her she could not have a drink of water. At least she knew she might get a bad tasting jellybean.

Janessa got a box handed to her by her mama like it was a gift. How cruel.

It was cruel but Jill rationalized it of course. Doing it was awful, posting it was ignorant. The song that accompanied the video was Charlie Brown (Why's everybody always pickin' on me?). The child was balling her eyes out.

This was part of their “wholesome” family outing. Idiots.

The Duggars were shown doing mean tricks on people, too.  I would like to hear Jill's explanation on how this is a kind and humane thing to do to anyone, let alone a child.  I highly doubt Jesus went around humiliating and scaring people.   Living her life for Christ.  Right.  Maybe "do unto others" is omitted from her version of the Bible.
