SeanC January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 It's an interesting choice to make the reveal of the main characters from the previous film a surprise. 1 Link to comment

PepSinger January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 I'll be honest. I loved Neighbors, and I laughed out loud at this trailer. I will see this. 3 Link to comment
Spartan Girl January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 Me too. And they get points for addressing the double standard of fraternity partying vs sorority partying. Plus, is the little girl that plays Stella the same baby from the original? If so she's still adorable! 1 Link to comment
JBC344 January 20, 2016 Share January 20, 2016 I didn't see the first one, I probably won't see the second one, but I did just laugh out loud at my desk. I am not proud of myself right now. Why would this trailer make you feel shame? If you laughed at this trailer that is probably a good indication that you would like the first one, whose trailer was even funnier. Do yourself a favor and rent the first movie, it's a really fun comedy. 1 Link to comment

VCRTracking January 21, 2016 Share January 21, 2016 (edited) It's an interesting choice to make the reveal of the main characters from the previous film a surprise. I like it more than the international trailer which is structured like the trailer to the first movie. The other trailer you can see the sorority's POV which I thought was the key last time. You saw both the fraternity and the couple's side. Nobody was the bad guy. Loved the Key and Peele trailer. That kitten is ridiculously cute. Edited January 21, 2016 by VCRTracking 2 Link to comment
Bruinsfan January 25, 2016 Share January 25, 2016 I'm all about spending money to provide positive reinforcement for Zac Efron to do movies that require very little clothing, so I'll see it opening weekend. 3 Link to comment

Bruinsfan January 29, 2016 Share January 29, 2016 Every time I see the Angry Birds trailer I think Tyler Hoechlin should be voicing Red since they drew the character with his eyebrows. Link to comment

SeanC February 3, 2016 Share February 3, 2016 Took me a bit to adjust to his voice in that, but I think it works. Hey, the lady from Middle of Nowhere's in it. Good for her, getting some work; almost nobody saw that movie, despite its strong reviews (somewhat overstated, I thought, but she was very good). Link to comment
xaxat February 3, 2016 Share February 3, 2016 Lots of back lighting and quick edits for the trumpet playing. Making it look believable is going to be hard. I went to a late period Miles Davis concert and it was the most brilliant/unusual musical event I have ever experienced. 1 Link to comment
SeanC February 3, 2016 Share February 3, 2016 As with most such musical issues, etc., most of the audience won't have much of an idea what trumpet-playing looks like. Link to comment
ribboninthesky1 February 4, 2016 Share February 4, 2016 Hey, the lady from Middle of Nowhere's in it. Good for her, getting some work; almost nobody saw that movie, despite its strong reviews (somewhat overstated, I thought, but she was very good). I saw it, as I've seen most of Ava DuVernay's work. I thought it was well-done. I've known about Emayatzy Corinealdi for several years, and she is definitely talented. Shame that she doesn't have a higher profile. Link to comment
methodwriter85 February 6, 2016 Share February 6, 2016 I can see them having good chemistry. Probably will try to catch this. I am seriously impressed with this trailer for Me Before You. Emilia Clarke is pitch-perfect as Lou. 1 Link to comment
Joe February 8, 2016 Share February 8, 2016 If only there wasn't that giant snake right there... In other news, why is Independence Day coming out June 24? Last I heard, the day itself was sometime around early July. Link to comment
dusang February 8, 2016 Share February 8, 2016 I can see them having good chemistry. Probably will try to catch this. I'm curious about this -- it was apparently filmed in 2012 and Anna Kendrick is on record saying it may never be released. Link to comment
Trini February 8, 2016 Share February 8, 2016 In other news, why is Independence Day coming out June 24? Last I heard, the day itself was sometime around early July. Weird; it doesn't look like there's much (action movie) competition July 1st. Link to comment

VCRTracking February 8, 2016 Share February 8, 2016 (edited) I like Anna Kendrick, Audrey Plaza, Adam Devine and Zac Efron when he's in a good comedy. Hope this is more like Pitch Perfect and Neighbors and not Bad Grandpa. Edited February 8, 2016 by VCRTracking Link to comment

SeanC February 12, 2016 Share February 12, 2016 The Huntsman: Not At All Copying Frozen. This trailer for Gary Marshall's latest ensemble romcom, Mother's Day, reminded me how rare it is for trailers to have narrators now. Link to comment
King of Birds February 13, 2016 Share February 13, 2016 As a child of the 70s/ 80s, I still have fond memories of trailers with narration. This terrible atrocious trailer is made of awesome due to the narrative reveal around 1:30 in. 1 Link to comment

methodwriter85 February 14, 2016 Share February 14, 2016 The one thing I will give Kristen Stewart is that no matter who she's paired with in a movie, she's always managed to eke out at least good to amazing chemistry. I'd be interested in seeing what she does with Nicholas Hoult. Link to comment
OakGoblinFly February 16, 2016 Share February 16, 2016 Is the entire movie filmed as a first-person shooter game? That clip was enough to give me vertigo. 1 Link to comment
OakGoblinFly February 16, 2016 Share February 16, 2016 The premesis reminds me a little bit of Snowpiercer (the whole class struggle where the better classes are at the front of the train instead of on a higher floor bit). Link to comment

dusang March 3, 2016 Share March 3, 2016 FUCK! YES! I'm heterosexual, but Kate McKinnon was kind of hot there in the trailer. And Chris Hemsworth? *dies* Is it strange that I'm a little disappointed that his reveal was a manly door-kick rather than a dweeby desk pose? 1 Link to comment
VCRTracking March 3, 2016 Share March 3, 2016 Janine wasn't really a dweeb in the first Ghostbusters. She was brassy and sassy. I watched the trailer for the first one after seeing the one for this. I'm glad I did because I was surprised how awesome the 1984 trailer is. It's like it knew the movie was going to be an instant classic. This one, there are bits I liked but it didn't blow me away. Kate McKinnon is the only reason I want to see it. Her character just looks great. 1 Link to comment
AimingforYoko March 4, 2016 Share March 4, 2016 I'm a little surprised that Kate McKinnon was the best part of that trailer. Hopefully this leads to many good things for her. Link to comment
xaxat March 4, 2016 Share March 4, 2016 (edited) FUCK! YES! I'm heterosexual, but Kate McKinnon was kind of hot there in the trailer. Kind of? I'm surprised, but very happy, that they used something very close to the original theme song. "The power of Patty compels you!" Edited March 4, 2016 by xaxat 3 Link to comment
Spartan Girl March 4, 2016 Share March 4, 2016 I hope the original theme song is in the movie too. Link to comment
