That would save the franchise, imo, and make for an interesting season, but according to Bethenny in this article http://www.people.com/article/bethenny-frankel-on-returning-to-rhonyc shes's not returning to the show.

Hi Atlanta!  I'm a Housewives OG watcher - all franchises, I'm ashamed to say.  ;-)    RHoNYC is as close as I'm going to get to the place, so I enjoy seeing all the unfamiliar places.  I like house porn, vacation porn and clothes porn.  Oh, and other people's DRAMA.

I could talk all day about the clothes, real estate, vacations, etc. lol

Me too.  They are all things that I don't care about or can't afford in my personal life, so I like living vicariously through others.   (Hate wearing clothes, live in a hovel, can't afford vacations).  heh

Since this is an OT topic, I'm assuming it's the right place to ask a question.   Tonight I had three (3) notifications about posters liking one of my posts in the Mind Your Own Business thread.   When I clicked on the post link, I got a "Sorry - can't find that" message.   My first reaction was that my post had been deleted which didn't make any sense to me since it was on topic and in the appropriate thread.  The post is still there marked by the same three posters who like it.  Does anyone know why this happens?  It's happened to me quite a few times.  Usually, I have more than one post in a thread but I went to bed early last night and only posted once in the episode discussion thread so it was easy for me to find it.

 

It's not earth shattering but it is annoying.

 

Any suggestion?

This always seems to happen after the recap is posted. I'm not sure why. Sorry this doesn't help, but it's what I noticed.

It happens to me often also. I thought it was just me. I use a smartphone, if that matters.

We may not know why it happens but at least we know we're not alone.

Does anyone watch Bravo through Hulu or Amazon through your TV? I'm looking to dump the cable tv portion of my service. Will save me some bucks though I see Internet prices are hiking up since many are going the same route possibly.

I only watch about 4-5 channels regularly.

I got a smartTV that has Netflix, Amazon, and MGO access. Trying to see if I need to get a Roku (a friend told me about this) or something similar since i'm a Bravo junkie apparently.

I have been thinking of dropping my directv.

We have hulu, Netflix, Amazon and hbo go. And of course almost everything thing can be found on line.

We pay a lot for TV that we don't watch. Especially now with weather so nice. I would love to be able to save money. My hubby is still not into this.

Currently paying $95 with a promo for tv and internet. It will either be a $50 difference from the current promo I am on with just internet (no movie channels), or $25-30 difference ($67 internet) if I keep the higher internet performance (which if isn't all that great anyway lol). I was shocked those were the prices now for Internet alone!

They catching on to people dropping this portion.

    I just joined this forum and I absolutely adore it.  I have had such fun and enjoy reading most of the posts.  A lot of the posters are so witty and funny!

 

   I also think the Mods are doing an incredible job of keeping the board light and fun. They are also nipping any drama in the bud. Very refreshing to me, as the last forum I was on it was nothing but pettiness and drama-no Mods stepped in.   Cheers to Previously TV!!!

I just want to say I had a lovely spring day today with my family and friends. Food, fun, and no drama. Who could ask for more?

Don't you just love that the warm weather is here. We cooked out and sitting on back yard now son is chasing butterflies and birds. Planted sunflowers today. I hope they grow. First time for me with sunflower. Edited by imjagain

The warmth of spring invigorates me. Sunflowers are fun to grow. I had a sunflower garden at one house. There are many types. My patch went from 1-3 footers and staggered up to 10 feet tall. Some birds like the seeds too. At this house, I've got song birds nesting.

I planted the very tall 10 feet ones along our fence and also some shorter ones I think they are autumn colored.

I'm crossing my fingers, I don't have the greenest thumb.

Welcome, BeachyMum!  PTV is a great place - it's the only forum I frequent, and you'll find the people here friendly and accepting, which is rare these days.

I live in San Diego County, where it's almost always sunny and warm.  Here at Casa de Deplorable (aka Grey Gardens West), the sunflowers just grow wild from spilled birdseed.  Since nothing in my overgrown mess of a yard is ever watered or even tended, I'd say sunflowers are a good bet.  I also have hardy geraniums that bloom year-round, and the honeysuckle/jasmine fenceline is as green and fragrant as if it had never heard of a drought.  My trees and plants are hardy by necessity - they gave up on being cared for over a decade ago, and seem to thrive on the neglect (and thirst)!  The wildlife love the place - what may be an eyesore to people is paradise to me & my critters.  :-)

Am I the only one who feels like I'm off balance with the new forum format?

 

The posts are off center (to the left) and the combination of ads and blank space on the right side of the screen makes me want to tack something onto my monitor to block out that side of the screen.  (Hmmm?  That's not such a bad idea.)  It would work here on my desktop but on an iPad, tablet or smart phone, the posts must be awfully tiny now.

 

ETA:   I apologize to anyone whose profile I clicked on by mistake.  I'm not checking profiles;  the new format has me a little bit off my game.

All of the above happens to me but it happens more often when I'm on my iPad. Apparently I can maneuver my desktop mouse better than I can my own fingers......go figure! It must be a 21st century ailment. You should see how badly I can butcher typing a text message on my phone.

jaybird2 - You are not reporting any post unless you complete the action and hit "Send Report" or "Cancel", so you are probably OK.  To quote an entire post (with the poster's name at the top), you just hit the little quotation marks (in faint red at the bottom right of the post) and you get a box with "Reply to 1 quoted post(s)".  If you want to quote more than one poster, you just click on their little quotation mark icons, and the box will say "Reply to 2 quoted post(s)", etc.  Hit "Clear" if you did it in error.  I quoted your post thusly :

You can also do an old-fashioned copy of a particular sentence in a post, paste it into the Reply Box, then highlight it and select the icon that looks like a cartoon talk bubble at the top of your Reply Box (hover over it & it says Quote).  The result looks like this :

I like that we have a recent visitor section for our profiles.  Not that you guys have checked mine, but in general, anybody who takes the time to check out my profile, even if it is by mistake LOL, gets a friend request for the CyberJawa friends list for life...
