Abigail makes men interested in her look like unlikable idiots. The moment Chad started talking to Serena, he suddenly seemed attractive again (things are probably going to go wrong for those two when they start drinking too much, but at least she's not Abigail). 

 

If I were Abigail I would not be confiding in Will (even if he has been looking less weird lately).

 

What is up with Abigail's shoulders? Is she doing strange work-outs for that area?

 

OMG, Teresa is so weird!!! but I don't want to hate her because of JL. But, yikes, the character is doing a really bad thing.

Maybe I give people the benefit of the doubt to much, but I'd like to think GV could do better if given better material. Making Eric a priest was a terrible mistake and they're still basically writing him like that even though he no longer is one. These writers mostly suck at writing "good" morally superior characters so they need to give it up. The character would be much better if he were scheming trash like the rest of Salem.

Victor didn't wipe out Xander's accounts until after trying to bake Ericole.  Serena finally turned over the ELEPHANT diamonds early this summer after hiding them for months.  At least Serena's blood diamond money went to charity but I have no idea why she was blathering about starting some unknown business with Xander's money seeing as she'll never get it.

 

Don't get me started about Eric.  Wasn't he in love with Nicole just last week? 

 

While watching Won't and Failure look relatively normal together I started remembering the awful way she treated him after he told the truth in his bad article.  She'd prance over with yet another gift for Ari just to kick him for basically telling the truth.  Yet he stood up for her.  Now he's besties with the tramp who slept with his mother's husband? I thought she'd never ask how he was doing.

 

I like Chad a lot but great point about him looking more attractive with anyone but Failure.

I have been defending Theresa for a long time because she is Kim and Shane's little girl...What she did yesterday was so evil....I don't know how the writers are going to fix her. I actually felt sorry for Xander.  I understand that we need an anti-heroine among the legacy children.. First she was going to go down the path of Munchausen by proxy syndrome, to hurt her baby to get attention from that over grown man child Brady..Now she is making a mockery of rape..This show has a sick fascination with rape and sexual assaults..It is disturbing...I hope this comes back to bite her in the ass.. Jennifer Liley looked very beautiful, I wish the show would let her back to blonde..She would look more like Kim...

I thought that the writers would have tried to redeem her.  My goodness! what have they done to Shane's girls..His daughters are sociopaths and his granddaughter is a victim of her sociopathic mother..Things are going to get worst for Paige....Eve is truly the author of her own destruction...

 

Chad and Serena are awesome together.They sizzle and can be quite naughty. They fit together so deliciously..Oh what could have been. What a waste!

I watched today. Thought it was a little boring in places.   So when I was losing interest, I managed to miss a couple things:

1) what happened that Serena slapped Chad and took off?  Was he just getting too touchy? 

2) who did Eve call to spill on JJ & Jennifer?  A reporter?

 

And, yes, Eve is horrible.  Does she really want JJ dead? 

 

Definite change in the way Aiden is being written.  There was never an indication of him working for someone before.  Stefano perhaps?  The Dimera's do seem to need money these days!

The Lucas/Sonny's mother pairing is boring and useless.

It's so obvious that this is a last minute exit story for Aiden.

If this serial killer doesn't take out Abby, I don't know what I'm going to do.

I don't usually have instant hatred of a character, but I can't stand her. I have a visceral reaction to her face on my screen.

And please, please writers, if we can't get rid of the 'pregnant from a ONS' trope (when every woman I know uses at least one form of birth control, often two), can we PLEASE get rid of the 'I have to marry the father of my fetus' storyline. I'm begging. It's 2015; we still have a long way to go on a lot of issues, but could we have one storyline where two adults decide to co-parent their child whether they are together or not, or where the woman decides to be with whomever (or no one), regardless of paternity. I can't take it.

 

Also, yes, Eve is trash; but my KDP love keeps me from caring. And I am definitely here for Eve and Justin.

Theresa is to smart to be wasting time on Brady.  The way this SL should have played out is Theresa had a trust fund, Shane and Kim cut her off because of her behavior, however, because of some such family will, or living trust, or something, if Theresa gets married and has a child, she gets access to her trust fund again.  Then Theresa needing dimwit Brady for her scheme makes sense.  JL is to talented and beautiful for me to believe Theresa would not have men lining up to date her.

I can't sign on for an Eve and Justin pairing because Eve is a sociopath who appears to be trying to get someone killed. Call me crazy, but I like Justin, so no to that. I love KDP, but she is woefully miscast as Eve. Every time I see her on screen I have to ask myself who she is in the show. Then I remember she is supposed to be Eve and all I can think is, "Ew why, and what moron thought that was a good idea." I never thought I'd see the day when I longed for the crap treatment she got on OLTL. I mean does Eve have a job because it seems like she spends her days and nights listening to what's going on in Jennifer's house.

What is wrong with the actress who plays Eve's daughter, she always has this pained from constipation look on her face. The character also seems a little slow on the uptake. Are we sure that Eric or Brady isn't her father.

John and Paul continue to bore me in their scenes. I keep asking, "Why is this person John's son? Can he just be written off the show?"

I loved the scene with Caroline in the hospital. It's nice to see Kayla out of Abby's orbit and smiling. I have a strong feeling her smiles will be at a minimum starting Friday.

Still think what they are doing with Aiden sucks.

I like Adrienne with Lucas, but I have the benefit of not watching the shrew the writers apparently changed her character into. I wonder if they plan to keep them together, or if Lucas will continue to be the resident loser in these sorts of things.

Forgot to add that I like Serena wth Chad. I might have been able to like these characters with this pairing. But alas, Serena bites it, while the ferret-faced cretin remains the center of the universe, spiraling ratings and alienated fans be damned.

Show might just might to realize that this is NOT 1990, and fighting a stereotype with a stereotype is actually pretty offensive, at least to me.  So maybe Show just might want to knock off the backslapping, good-old-boy, crap with Sparkle and Jawn.  Sheesh.  And yeah I know I sound crabby on the subject.

 

Ben and Abigail stripping down for a sex video reminded me far more of dissecting frogs in high school biology than it did anything sexy.  Rob Wilson has done an enormous amount of work on his body and it shows.  And it is something Hollywood seems to demand these days.  Personally, I don't care for the look - little more meat on the bones is my preference.  But the main thing I thought, watching those scenes is what these folks have to go through just to get a ghost of a chance of success.

And then I looked at Kate Mansi........and for some reason thought of what a Muppet Porno flick might look like.

That's because you have good taste, Kristabell, and a normal human reaction.  Abigail just brings that out in a lot of us.  Even though - and I have this on good authority since we're told it at least once an episode - she's AMAZING.

But, then again, that's the exact word the carnival used to advertise the two-headed baby when I was a kid.

 

Naughty Eve, doing a bad thing, telling on JJ.  As if anyone would believe that little guy with the backpack could betray our hero, Kyle Southern.  NO WAY.  And to double down, she called - who, exactly?? - to put Jenn in the middle of it.  Then she tries to make up to Angry Paige and of course that was a bust, even though she was actually making sense.

But I'm with you - an unrepentant KdP fan no matter who she plays or what her character does.  Or almost, anyway.  I'll enjoy her as long as we can.  If this goes down as it looks like it might, I can't see the Eve character being long for the show.

 

But then, maybe just to mess with us, Show puts her in a nice scene with Justin....so what gives??

 

Oh well, no matter what else happens, folks, we at least have Dougie's barbershop quartet to look forward to.......just where IS that serial killer when you need him??

I don't understand why anyone - ever - would want to have sex with Abigail.  She does not have one single redeeming quality, and also?  She's weird looking.  But then, Ben is no prize, either.  One minute he seems repelled by her, and then the next he's doing all he can to possess her through mannequin sex.  It's just bizarre and sick, the whole damn situation.

I guess the propping of Sparkle will continue under the new regime. I guess the Gay Daniel is here to stay..It bothers me that John is so much #teamPaul when basically, Will is his grandson and he's known Will since Will was born. Will is his first grandson via Marlena.  Paul is a stranger period. I find it strange that Paul and his dad think the only issue that broke up Will and Sonny's marriage is the ONS. What broke the marriage was Will's craziness but also Paul's relentless pursuit of Sonny. It exacerbated Will's paranoia. I mean, if Paul is going to admit to a mistake then he needs to acknowledge that he chased a married man and worked hard to break up his marriage. As annoying as John's lack of consideration for his relationship with Will was, he was right that the ONS is on Will but his precious perfect boy chased a married man and wanted to breakup his marriage from the moment he came back to town. I think it is so funny that Yawn is so proud of Sparkle because he is gay, but oh so manly..There is nothing femme about him...Have a seat John!

I have a feeling that if Tomsell had remained on the show, whatever scheme that Theresa was cooking up for Tate to get Brady's attention was going to backfire on her with dire consequences...The new writers changed it to the false rape accusation that tied into Xander's exit;leaving the door open for him to come back in the future and seek revenge on his many enemies in Salem..They did the same thing with Eve/Jennifer.  Eve's gaslighting scheme for Jennifer  was changed into ratting out JJ as an informant to kyle the drug dealer, that will tie into Paige's tragic swan song...Even the Will/Paul scenes felt that they were moving them into different directions...If it was Tomsell, they would have had Will plot revenge against Sparkle over losing Sonny..The new writers are altering the work of the old writers to flow with their own vision of the show...So the shift is not too jarring and confusing...

I don't think he should feel bad for the ONS. He was innocent in that as he didn't know Will was married, etc... That isn't on Paul. That is on Will. 100%

 

However, the thing Paul is guilty of is pursuing Sonny and sticking around hoping to slide in there...way before he even knew it was Will who Sonny was married to . He had zero reason to believe Sonny wasn't 100% happy in his marriage and he kept trying to see what he could get away with. Then after he found out about Sonny/Will he still made efforts. That is my Paul issue.

 

No one should be having sex with Abbigail. She's just gross. Ben is essentially having sex with Chad right now thanks to her grossness.

Right, but Sonny did call Paul up before Will came back from LA. I could understand the suspicion and false hope from Paul, Sonny also was going to see him on New Year's Eve. What person would think their ex would randomly visit them on New Years Eve of all times and that it would mean nothing? I suppose Paul read too much into things but I get why. Was he a little too persistant? Sure, at the start. It was ridiculous and arrogant for him to think Sonny would just leave his husband for him when Paul realized his career was over.

He should not have been chasing a married man, but Will had cheated on Sonny in LA already. He did it again by cheating with Paul. Sonny messed up by losing a lot of money, another reason for their arguments - but that storyline was dropped.

If it was not for Paul, Will most likely would have cheated with someone else because he was "flattered." Sonny had made it clear before Paul even met Will, that he was devoted to his marriage. Paul was not going to persuade him, that much was obvious.

Suprisingly, Paul did not even encourage Sonny to break it off with his cheating husband. I expected Paul to be more angry with Will for hurting Sonny the way he did tbh. That he would tell Sonny he deserved better. Even if it was for his own selfish reasons of wanting him back.
