I remember that episode, but I wished we had seen more of Sutton's mom. There was something kind of off about their interaction on the show, but maybe her mom didn't care for the cameras, and that's fair.

A back yard ho down with a mini horse (shout out to LVP) with the poor horse getting out of the back seat of a car? The bucking broncho providing Kyle with another forced possibly sexy scene? So damn desperate. And the entire party looked like extras dressed up in cowboy gear waiting for the housewives to have their scene. Yawn. 

Jennifer Tilly and the stupid doll can loose me. So attention seeking. I get it, she made money off the movie. What else ya got? Let’s see all those fabulous fashions and homes.

Totally agree. I got so excited when I saw that in her kitchen and I think Sutton also has a few Smeg items in hers. I loved the D&G printed items and the refrigerators are so old school classic and cute. All too expensive for my budget but I love it all and perhaps will at least have the kettle and or toaster one day. The problem is what color? A girl can dream.

i just looked at their website ...$250 for a 2 slot toaster? child my $30 works just as good lol

I hear you! Mine was $25! $250 would be better spent in so many other places! But I do love the esthetic. The D & G line of Smeg is quadruple the cost. Insane!

Because they were close friends, especially the men, it doesn't matter if Kyle says they were not now. Perhaps Kyle felt obliged to associate with them, but wives don't necessarily have to do it too much if they don't like it. Is she the kind of person to do it to please her husband? Who knows. I remember she said that during covid the Kemsleys were part of their (small) pod.

This seems a little excessive…especially for women who likely don’t eat carbs, toasted or otherwise. Almost as over-the-top as wearing head-to-toe leather and suede at your own damn denim party.

Jennifer is trying to be wacky, Garcelle is trying to maintain her calm but they have to be the keepers of Sutton, I want to keep liking those women but what is Sutton's deal with yelling at Dorit, it's like yelling at a cat two seconds after they do something wrong, they don't remember what they did.  I want Sutton to give up dealing with Dorit in every capacity.

Well, she is 5 houses from the water. If you walk out her front door, the ocean is a two-minute walk. I grew up here and came back to retire. All the houses are built on sand and are officially part of a liquefaction zone. (Not good in an earthquake). 

We're not a part of Oxnard (which is 5 miles inland), or any other city, but are an unincorporated area of the county. We have our own water district, and all other services (fire, law enforcement) are provided by the county. My father always called us the county's bastard stepchildren since we're geographically set apart from everyone and only have one road that comes onto the beach. The road is a mile long.  We're surrounded by water on three sides and by a naval base on the inland side. We're toast if there's ever a tsunami. LOL

When the beach was sub-divided in 1925, Oxnard was the closest post office (5.5 miles inland), so all mail came there and why many people still use that name. For many years, we've been an official "census-designated place (CDP)" called Channel Islands Beach. Many people use that as their mailing address, although some people never bothered to update their accounts/address with the change.

Agree, confusing. It would make sense for Kyle to be more comfortable with women because she was closer to her mom than her dad, had only sisters, had only daughters, nieces she's very close to etc. It does seem like she is capable of close female friendships, but then it shows that she was raised to be competitive with the way she treats other women on the show. Kyle is a beautiful woman with a blessed life. But if there is a sexy blonde, a more famous Housewife, a cast member a bigger hit with the fans, she gets insecure and mean. It's like another woman cannot have ONE thing that she doesn't have. Even though she has a beautiful body, she gets insecure around women like Camille and Brandi. Even though she has plenty of money and has starred on a popular show for many years, she isn't happy if fans take to Vanderpump more or Denise Richards is a star outside of Bravo. She never seemed to genuinely like Dorit imo even when the story was they were close, and I don't buy that she would want anything to do with Erika outside of filming. The more popular Sutton gets with the fans, the less Kyle likes her. Kyle isn't happy unless she's the most popular, pretty thing in the room.

I've long believed Kyle had a real friend group outside this sorry non-sisterhood.   Just the fact that she lost her lifelong best friend without us ever even knowing her name until months later kind of backed that up in my opinion.  This show was always a job for Kyle, which doesn't mean she can't be friends with co-workers but does mean it's not her whole life. 

I admit I don't follow the HWs social media unless it's posted on this forum but I am doubtful Dorito has a similar close friend group, which might be why she was so pissed off about it.

Kyle has a group of friends for decades according to her social media, and interviews. 

I've noticed like others did, Garcelle and Jennifer said that Sutton is "volatile", which is interesting to say the least.

A few months ago, a woman doored me while I was riding my bicycle. She was so upset and felt terrible about it. Later on, she and the driver of the car Texas’d me, “How are you doing? Are you okay? Is there anything we can do to help? Can we run errands for you?” They sent me a $75 gift card to what happens to be my favorite restaurant in Hoboken.

Last night I went to the restaurant for dinner with my son. We ordered two appetizers and one entree. With SVC fee, tax and tip, the total was exactly $75. 
 

I joked to my son that we should play the Lottery.

Same, I do believe Kyle has close friends off the show, but my criticisms of her stand.

I do think one can be a jealous, competitive person and still have a lot of friends. I also think a lot of kind people have less friends if they’re shy, introverted, deal with anxiety, new in town, etc.

My sister is kind of like a Kyle, but she’s way nicer than Kyle. She is a social butterfly with loads of friends (more than I have), but she definitely gets insecure. I am always welcoming to her friends, but even though she is always nice when she sees my friends, she doesn’t like me including them in plans if my friends are attractive. It’s very childish and also frustrating when I want to hang out with both my sister and our non-mutual friends. At first glance my sister probably appears as nicer and easier to get along with due to number of friends and friend groups she has, but I’m actually the nicer, more laidback one who isn’t competitive. It doesn’t bother me if a friend of mine gets attention or has something I don’t have.

Genuine question, but is there a right one? All of these people are terrible.

The c-word is awful. I would label it a slur. I don't think it's humorous to call a woman that. That said, in the original clip, Dorit was clearly not actually calling Camille the c-word. She was very obviously (drunkenly) saying it in jest. It's interesting that Camille is doing almost exactly the same thing Kyle is doing with the "Which Hilton sister do you like best?" answer, which is to dredge up a moment that was clearly said in jest, and which the recipient didn't really care about at the time, and then decontextualize it and use it as ammunition against Dorit. Hmm.

True. But Boz landed right in it. She was at the wrong place at the wrong time at Sutton's Surrealist party. I think Boz was being polite and trying to establish rapport with one of her new friends co-workers without having the benefit of knowing anything about Dorit or her current situation, which was making her extra needy, clingy, and more verbose than usual. Boz probably thought they were bonding and Dorit was like "Yeah! A new ear to bend." She has been Dorit's captive audience every since.

Hopefully, as Boz get to spend more one-on-one time with the other women, things will shift. 

It will be interesting to see if Dorit offers a similar level of support should Boz need it!

I have been finding this group- this incarnation- this season- absolutely tiresome and so not real. I actually have missed several episodes and now reading the comments, I think I'm good.

 I enjoy the chatter on the threads here but the show not so much.
