Mindthinkr December 14 Share December 14 3/5 with 2* Sardinia, Curie, and I Dream of Jeannie. I made waffles out of a banana nut batter. They are delicious and so portable. Toppings will include butter, real maple syrup, berries and whipped cream. 5 1 1 Link to comment

Good Queen Jane December 14 Share December 14 (edited) 3/5 with 1 *. I would have been excommunicated from my family if I missed Friday’s FJ as “Thanks for all the fish” is our standard farewell to each other. Edited December 14 by Good Queen Jane 5 1 3 Link to comment

shapeshifter December 15 Share December 15 Today I helped supervise my grand-toddler who was helping his Mom (my daughter) prepare cookie dough. Lots of pictures were taken, but here I share from my NYT email feed: holiday cookies. 30 Helens December 15 Share December 15 1/5 Last week I was saved by Morticia, this week it was Marie. So I will bring some chocolate mousse— it’s to die for! (not really. It’s 100% radium-free.) 1 9 1 Link to comment
possibilities December 15 Share December 15 Maybe 30 Helens and I need a category like "Final Jeopardy Women With "M" as their First Initial" and then the two of us will always know the answer! 1 1 3 Link to comment
Grundoon59 December 16 Share December 16 3/5 with 1* (Marie, Jeannie & Douglas). For Monday, I got lost in the Channel Islands and never made it south. On Tuesday, I was too busy desperately trying to remember the relationship between Adlai and Adlai II to even get to a guess. All the sweet treats sound amazing so I will offer up some beef barley soup as a prequel. 5 1 1 Link to comment

possibilities Yest. at 02:21 AM Share Yest. at 02:21 AM 1/5 I've always depended on the kindness of strangers. Also, I studied French in college. I was totally distracted on Wednesday, and I think I might have gotten ithat one if I'd been paying attention, but I didn't even notice that FJ was happening until they were giving the responses, so I snooze, I lose! 4 1 1 Link to comment

secnarf Yest. at 03:27 AM Share Yest. at 03:27 AM Well, seeing Wednesday's FJ makes me think I must have seen a different episode that day. I am 100% sure I watched Jeopardy that day, but have absolutely no memory of that final jeopardy question. Don't remember what FJ I saw on Wednesday, though, and can't say for sure if I would have known Bhutan. Another rough week with three asterisks. Alas, it was zero for me. 2 3 Link to comment
Prevailing Wind Yest. at 04:17 AM Share Yest. at 04:17 AM I'll be at the doughnuts & bagels table. I got a big, fat ZERO this week. Obviously, no asterisks. I'm gonna go cuddle with my cat. 5 Link to comment

Mom was a huge sports fan, cheering in front of the TV on weekends, including for OJ, but Joe Namath too, while Dad was either doing yard work or in the basement making furniture or jewelry. I'm more like Dad, but the late night TV comics have been making fun of the Jets lately, especially Aaron Rodgers, who we all recall was a Jeopardy! guest host before his far out thinking was out in the open. Sheesh. I was such a sucker for those eyes. Oh well, thanks, Aaron, for getting me a FJ via Stephen Colbert jokes. But before I went with Jets, I was going to say Bears, just because it was a team I knew from Chicago. So I'm bringing deep dish, Chicago-style pizza with mushrooms, spinach, and artichokes, which are probably not all on this one: Edited Yest. at 06:23 AM by shapeshifter 4 Link to comment
SoMuchTV 23 hours ago Share 23 hours ago A big ol' 1/5, 1/3*. RICO was a lucky guess. Don't remember knowing anything about that movie, but is sounded like it might have a gangster in it, and I was vaguely aware of what the RICO law covers. I guess it was karma balancing out for my total brain freeze earlier in the week, when I could not drag the name of the Falklands out of my head. Got as far as f-a- Faraday? Farragut? That place where they had a war... Fun fact, all the FJ's this week were either triple stumpers or triple gets. 5 1 Link to comment
