Sometimes you need to just go For it and kiss each other or just have sex and maybe it’ll bring those feelings . Unlike in the beginning , they seem to really get along now and like each other but Jasminas not looking past physical attraction and he’s not a bad looking guy at all . Just be romantic and maybe you’ll feel romantic . They don’t even hold hands or touch . 3 Link to comment

The fact that he wanted them to move into his mother's apartment and keep things the same even though he admitted he doesn't have much of a relationship with her and that he had an unhappy childhood, would have sent me running at that moment. I was with Lindsey in that I would want to build our lives together moving forward instead of reliving his past. I think there's too much Production Manipulation that makes this show less enjoyable. The other differences are the whole group dynamic and the show-provided apartments. In earlier seasons, the couples never met or interacted and after the honeymoon each couple had to move into one of their homes and discuss budgets, etc. The group just causes drama and the free rent forestalls serious discussion about lifestyle & spending that needs to be covered sooner than later. Plus, now there’s the “whole victim of its own success” factor — with the show’s popularity it attracts soulless famewhores just interested in being on tv and ‘building their brand’ on social media. Quote I bet he wants to move into his mom's house because it's already paid for---no mortgage! To me, that would be the BEST reason to live there whether it's either of their style or not. Housing is most people's biggest expense. If you have no rent/mortgage or a low one, that makes life a lot easier. And frees up money to redecorate... 5 Link to comment
Madding crowd May 1, 2022 Share May 1, 2022 Lindsey only suggested a few changes, paint and new curtains etc. I don’t think I could live in someone’s house as a wife knowing nothing of my taste or personality would be in my home. When my husband and I were first getting serious his mother was looking to move. He suggested buying a house where he and his mother would live until we got married. I said no because I knew I would be moving into a house decorated by her and it would have nothing of me. Luckily she found a condo and my husband and I bought a house together. 5 Link to comment

Yeah No May 1, 2022 Share May 1, 2022 I don't remember seeing this mentioned, but in this episode it looked like Mark was eating sushi willingly and thanking Lindsey for helping him to branch out into new foods. I got an argument weeks ago when I said that he was a big boy and if he didn't like sushi he could have ordered something else. Not to say I was right or anything but it looks like he was eating it willingly and has actually come around to liking some of it. 😛 3 Link to comment

There may be more school loans than we might expect for less than 2 years accomplished in college. It's a lot to take on impacting a marriage after only 8 weeks of knowing someone. He did ask for someone that was at his stage of life - finished college and has a career and ready and able to travel. They are at different stages of life. I’ve always said that the show got worse when they started providing housing. Before they had to find and pay for their own housing or live in one person’s or the other’s. If they found separate housing they had to do a budget because they still had to pay for the housing they were living in before marriage, which grounded the marriages more. We would see them doing budgets, talking about they’d incomes, debt, etc. We see much less of that now and I think the show is worse for it. I don’t mind that the couples interact (sometimes they develop friendships, which is nice to see), but the free housing, especially the “everyone lives in the same place” free housing (in Philly they provided housing but it was in all different neighborhoods) has made the show worse. 1 3 Link to comment

They could still have them do a budget as part of their ‘homework’ rather than have an entire show devoted to sex toys. The entire group could be shown meeting with a financial counselor of some sort, and then individually discussing. Especially people of this season’s age. They know what their monthly expenses are and could estimate how they would now change ( bigger home, two cars, insurance etc). They wouldn’t have to discuss specific amounts on tv. That would lead into discussion of differences in lifestyles( home vs apartment, hobbies, etc). Edited May 2, 2022 by mythoughtis 13 Link to comment

Steve keeps saying that they have discussed this before. She needs to go live by herself, but I think they will say yes, with her thinking that she can live apart from him and he will be thinking that once he gives her a real ring, purchased by him instead of the show, she will be committed. (By the way, if it is a lab created stone, although she is stupid, she will be smart enough to have appraised.) At the beginning of the season, I thought that both Jasmeana and Katina were really pretty. Katina now looks just hard and is not pretty to me, at all. Jasmeana is still pretty, but she has yet to get her make-up messed up, so she looks the same as the wedding. I just kept hoping they would just kiss at the end to say good-bye, but, nope. I've gotta say, though, her shoes she wore for salsa were amazing! I truly want Katina to say no, but I have a feeling she may think that he is the best she can find, because she has no self-esteem and he is so horrible to her. Why they selected someone with a history of being in abusive relationships is horrible and they should be sued to pay for her therapy. He is a narcissistic misogynist and I want him to go away and never darken my screen again. I DON'T want to see any of these people show up on next season's filler shows giving their opinions. Jasmina is stunning and has gorgeous skin and hair. I've seen pictures of her with heavy makeup and it's not the same look she has on the show. I like Katina but she has always looked hard to me, particularly because of the outfits she wears and her helmet wig. I liked Noi at first but now I can't stand her. I think she was chosen for ethnic representation and her traumatic childhood. She's so rigid. But what's wrong with the ring? Lots of people wear lab-created stones and moissanites.
