Well, I watched the first episode free on Peacock. Ramona. Ramona. Ramona. In this episode alone she called Kenya a bitch, did the I-get-the-best-room fight, showed anyone with eyeballs her naked body, did some awkward bra less flirting, and just generally was the crown princess of crap behavior.  I’ve never been a Ramona fan but watching everyone call her out on her atrocious behavior was fun to watch. I refuse to pay for this shitshow but if they ever drop another free episode, I’m in.

FWIW, Kenya is a bitch. The ladies of RHOA (save for one or two) always give her a pass, though. 

I don't know why this isn't airing on Bravo. This is the content Housewives viewers want to see. Of course I realize that the purpose of putting it on Peacock is to boost the streamer, but I'm not paying for another streaming service. Hopefully the episodes will eventually air elsewhere.

A few thoughts:

• Ramona and Luann are self-centered cougars
  • Ramona calling Kenya Porsha felt both on purpose and due to Ramona not really caring about the other housewives
  • Luann's flashing was embarrassing
• Cynthia was genuinely surprised that the housewives like Kenya so much
  • I think she thought should be the most popular housewife
  • Kenya is smart and funny
• Theresa and Melissa really don't like each other
  • Theresa was incredibly open and vulnerable
  • Melissa is the same as on her series
• Kyle is boring as always
  • She is authentic and boring

I liked this more than I thought I would.  The format is good and the housewives interacted well.

I will continue to watch.

Just watching now - I don’t believe for one minute that Porsha Kenya didn’t mean to piss Ramona off about flirting while married. So far, fun - back to episode one.

I watched the first three episodes last night and was pleasantly surprised...I enjoyed it!  Ramona remains the bitch I love to hate (and, oh, do I detest her), Kyle is still a vapid barbie-wanna-be-who-never-will, and Kenya is smart, funny, and to-the-point.  I'm not familiar with Cynthia, but she was a dog with a bone over her stupid-ass game.  Petty, much?  Only Melissa/Teresa (they are interchangeable to me) bored me to tears; they still bring nothing else to the (flipped) table.

I'm definitely in to watch more episodes.  I enjoyed watching them on the private jet and I *long* to stay at the home they're in...now THIS is vacation porn!   Although, the way they behave, especially Luann, toward the staff is abhorrent.  Sexual harassment is never entertainment.

Tre seems to have mellowed a bit - maybe she’ll revert back to her old hair-on-fire scarecrow self after the wedding.

Good vibes between Kyle, Melissa and Cynthia - the “normal” ones. I’d vacation with them.

Cynthia was awful. She seems so defensive. Yeah she is jealous of Kenya's friendship with the other women. She wanted to be the head bitch in charge. I don't know if kenya is putting on an act but I like her so much better on this show than AtL.  Overall this show is a nice surprise.  Let's hope Ramona doesn't ruin things.

After episode two, I take it back - wouldn’t want to vacation with Cynthia. imo she was mad at Kenya for being late and fawning over the other women, and took it out on Kyle. I wouldn’t want to compare people either.

Also wouldn’t want to be in the same room as Kenya or Ramona - no patience for their shit.

Really enjoy the conversations separate from the group activities.

Good on Lu for not drinking in this situation!

Cynthia said she envisioned her and Kenya against the others...wasn't sure what she meant by that.

Kenya spoke logic when she explained that Cynthia's game worked with the girls on ATL because they all knew one another and made throwing shade a sport...but that it wouldn't fly with the other women (she obviously knew Kyle would be a wet blanket about everything).

Oddly...Kenya is coming out well so far and Cynthia...not so much.  Who knew lol

Ramona is Ramona...and it's funny seeing all the other women react to her.

I get this free with Xfinity. I tried to rewatch esipode 2 this morning because I missed a lot of this first time around.  I get a mmessage that I can't watch episode 2 or 3 unless I upgrade to Peacock Premium at a cost of $4.99 per month.  Has this happened to anyone else?

I have the xfinity app on my TV and an account but I could not watch episode 2 or 3.  Well I just checked and now I can watch episode 2. Maybe it was a glitch this morning.

I kind of get Ramona's point about Tom.  I wouldn't want to hear it again.  If it were any of those women from RHONY who were there I think they would all react the same.  And I wouldn't blame them.    Imagine if Bethenny was there and Luann tried to talk about how much she loved Tom and why she married Tom after Bethenny showed Luann photographic evidence of him cheating?  Do you think Bethenny would sit there and smile and have heart eyes and ask for more details?  Come on. People have their limits.

Ramona needs to control things, but (I am just "meeting" Kenya), it seems like Kenya is the same.  She doesn't let Ramona get away with ANYTHING.  She points out every single thing Ramona does even if what Ramona does doesn't affect anyone else (like how Ramona loves herself and brags). 

Was this filmed in 2019?  Kyle said something on the plane that made me think that it was.  She did some math, like Ramona started RHONY in 2006 and this is 13 years later?

Agree on all Fronts!!!!!!  Kyle had an interesting point and instead of being listened to she was just shut down by Cynthia.

Did no one really have the courage to tell Kenya, Kenya how could you eat after we waited 1 hour to eat FOR YOU?  Kenya's the HBIC, they are all scared of her.

I heard that too but given they were wearing face masks into the restaurant (I think episode 2) it was filmed during the pandemic - not sure if 2020 or 2021 though... these past two years have kinda blended together,LOL

I usually love Cynthia and dislike Kenya on Atlanta - on this show it was reversed. Cynthia was being silly.  Luann falling (again) playing volleyball…I laughed and laughed.

Seriously, I've seen Lu's naked body on this more times than I've seen it on RHONY. The guy is married. She looks desperate and pathetic. Did the "be cool, don't be all uncool" incident also happen in Turks and Caicos? I vaguely remember that because of the flashback they showed of Ramona cockblocking Betheny and Carole with that John guy.

I don't watch RHOA so this is my first experience with Kenya and Cynthia. I laughed at the names they have for each other. Kenya called Cynthia "50 Cynt" and Cynthia called Kenya "The Shade Monster." Maybe Kyle can take some lessons from them on how to deal with Erika. 

Teresa's boyfriend giving her cards to open each day she's there is giving me Brooks from RHOC vibes. And how many times did Tre have to say she's a NY Times bestselling author? 

I'm pretty sure this was filmed early 2021.

All in all, I'm enjoying this, it's interesting seeing all of them interact with each other. I think this is a separate thing they can keep going, maybe once a year just get a group together from each franchise.

I've watched all 3 and I'm enjoying way more than I expected. It might have something to do with it being a vacation to luxury beach villa in Turks & Caicos.  Trips always are the most entertaining aspect of the housewives shows so I'm actually surprised it took this long to come with the idea.

Random thoughts: 

Ramona is just an asshole (not only her self-centered actions, but in her confessionals too) The comment about Kenya's marriage & not being able to keep a man like she did Mario for 20+ years.  Umm, he cheated on your ass the whole time. Maybe it's just me, but I no longer find her amusing, she's just mean & dismissive.

Compare her to Luann, who I admittedly is my favorite HW. I recognize that she has her own issues but she is nice to everyone. She's making an effort to get to know people and, even as the only sober one, is enjoying herself.  Her body is on point.  If I looked like that, I'd walk around naked.

Soft spot for Teresa as well. I think she too is open to get to know everyone and there for a laugh. I'm actually also enjoying Melissa much more without Joe.  She always seems to be a girls girl and gets along well with the other women, always up for fun.

Admittedly, I didn't know much about Kenya & Cynthia.  Seeing them makes me want to start watching Atlanta again, I find their dynamic interesting. Is there an significant age gap between the two?

Shocked that we haven't seen Kyle do the splits yet.  She did have that high leg kick, pretty much flashing the camera, and she crawled up on the table. But I'll be utterly shocked if we don't see the signature splits and hair twirling.

On the Kelly Clarkson show Cynthia completely owned up to her 50 Cynt alter ago so she knows all about it.  LOL.

I'm enjoying the show too, and I'm going to be really sad if there's no RHONY for the entirety of 2022, that's terrible.

When people kept posting about "Tre" I figured somebody's husband flew out to join them.

Kenya is just wanting to stir the pot, everyone's pot.

why did Luann and Ramona try to glam up their pajamas with the unbuttoning, flipped collars, waist ties…they looked stupid.
 

Ramona - who is definitely in better shape than most women her age - really seems much older to me on this trip. I was embarrassed for her trying to play Twister. And Luann should be ashamed of herself doing her cougar flirting with the married guy.

This show confirmed my suspicions that many of the women are "turning up" their personalities for the cameras. I don't want to say acting - but presenting a heightened version of themselves.

Teresa seems subdued -- even quiet. In real life, I have a feeling she keeps to herself and minds her business, which is the antithesis of her job on Jersey. Kenya is friendly and well liked. On Atlanta, she does play a villan. Kyle comes across like just a normal nice woman, on Beverly Hills she two faced and constantly bone collecting. Melissa and Teresa have hardly appeared together - clearly Jersey makes them pick fights with each other for ratings - in real life they'd just avoid each other rather than fight.  

I watched the fourth episode and I feel like the show is therapeutic to all the women.

The guy said he was married but he did not say if he was married to a man or a woman.

Ramona has Conch Bar guy in her cross hairs and says she is just building a friendship with him but if it turns in to something more, blah, blah, blah, it will never be more than a friendship, the man looks incredible, single for a reason, he is in paradise full of young babes in tiny bikini's that he does not have to get involved with to have meaningless vacation sex and then they are gone and he can move on to the next young hottie...Ramona cannot compete. 

Ramona says she exercises everyday but she has a very thick mid section and sadly menopause is unforgiving, to rid herself of that thick trunk she has to be vigilant about avoiding sugars, carbs, fats, booze, etc...but no fun in that!
