We need more Fatima! Seriously, she’s such a treasure.

Oh, and Nicole turned 40 on March 23. Go figure.

She has existed for 40 years and yet is as immature as a 15 year old?!

Awwww…sounds so yummy! Enjoy your feast!

There are probably a dozen feasts in the offing! As we were leaving, my son was all "OH MY GOD I forget to get you the steaks!" and he's supposed to be dropping them off tonight on his way home. Frankly I don't know how I'll manage to get anything else in the freezer.

@Trackdawg congrats on the upcoming nuptials! I hope your vows are going to be as heartfelt and touching and Tania and Sinjin's.

@Suzywriter check out eshakti.com! You can get your clothes made to your exact measurements, as well as customize wrt sleeve length, neckline, hem length. The fabrics are nice and they really aren't too expensive. I got a lot of work clothes there. My go to for work was a long tunic type top with either leggings or nice jeans. I found Old Navy to be a good source for jeans/pants, but they're not consistent. Woman Within isn't bad for standard issue pants/jeans for a larger size. Good luck!

Aw, I blush!

I just got home! The restaurant my son chefs at closed its doors today, and he called us to say that all perishable stuff was either going to be given away or thrown out and did we want anything? WE DID! So we sped up and hauled out duck breast, lamb racks, short ribs, avocados, lemons, butter.....and just spent the last half hour portioning, wrapping and freezing! Plus they gave us four bottle of wine. We're so sad to see the place go, though. It was such a nice spot.

I'm so sorry I missed the chat! I'll have to watch tomorrow to catch up, I'm sure SO MANY exciting things happened! I love you all, MWAH!

We missed you! That sounds like a feast though. Hope your son didn't lose his job.

Hey, if we can somehow trim our guest list to under 200, we could have you! But with her massive (Mexican Catholic) family and my medium-large fam and tons of friends (band guys, training partners, past gay lovers, former cellmates...), it seems pretty doubtful 😭.

Jen:  I'm probably being stupid and should end this relationship now.

Me: Yes, get rid of your meddling friend!

That entire video chat scene with her friends seemed fakety-fake-fake. Totally scripted to set up an “is Rishi cheating?” storyline to amp up their boring ’drama.’

Smug “friend” Randi seems determined to undermine Jen and Rishi’s relationship. She was the one who suggested catfishing him in the first place and turned an innocent text exchange into him flirting with her. When Jen didn’t take the bait, Randi upped her game and continued contacting Rishi, asking him for a photo and pretended to be going to Jaipur to meet him in person. She tried to catch him cheating so she could report it to Jen but it backfired. I think she may be jealous.

I do not think there were any real contact with Rishi, the producers sent Randi that photo.

We need to ask why does Rishi want to be in a relationship with Jen, if he wanted her money, she has none, if he thinks she is the most beautiful woman in the world, nope, does she want to be that perfect Indian wife, cooking and cleaning 24/7 and live with his family till the end of time, nope and in fact she wants nothing to do with that lifestyle so he knows he will be making a sacrifice and possibly lose his relationship with his parents, Jen is too old to be making babies, so I ask, why does he want to marry this woman at all?

Why does Jen want to marry Rishi, it's purely physical I am sure. What do they talk about anyway? How many times is she going to ask if he told his parents about their engagement?

Jen has been home for four months and it seems that entire time she did not work, what does she do for money? Was she sleeping on her parents couch all day watching TLC and eating all their food as in, "Mom, we are out of milk, I'll put it on your grocery list, while your out can you pick up a pizza for me?"

They have FANTASTIC promotions and the referral bonus is very generous. The clothes are cute, and really well made!

Well, the restaurant's been sold and will be under renovation for a while. No one really knows what the plan is, whether they'll keep the current staff on or not. It was an open secret that the place would be closing soon--the chef/owner had a stroke a year ago and his recovery has been very slow. His wife, co-owner, has been struggling gamely to keep up with everything but it was just a matter of time. No idea if son stay with the new owners or move on. Either way he won't lack for a job--he has a friend who chefs at a popular place here in town and my son could go to work there tomorrow. He's never had to apply for a job!

I honestly wish she could get some help or something. She doesn’t seem all that bright.

Took me a little while to realize what Ahmed was doing. He’s continuing to help keep her trapped there. His advice makes no sense. Talking about this situation later will not help.

This is actually infuriating. The whole thing is just trying to convince Mockmood to be patient while Nicole gets broken down more slowly. There will be no compromise on his side other than it’s going to take longer than he would like.

I mean, isn’t he the guy who cracked a "joke" about taking her passport? Mockmood learned his trash behavior somewhere.

I really wish @Trackdawg officiated Kris and Jeymi’s wedding.

Dawg: Do you, Jeymi, take Kris to be your lawfully wedded wife, to provide unlimited opioids to feed her addiction, to give her an endless supply of bubblegum toothpaste, to allow her to carry a knife on her person bigger than Rambo’s, to care for her after her impending neck surgery and essentially be a caregiver?

Jeymi: Yes, I love my little sick.

Dawg: Kris, do you take Jeymi to be your caregiver and to weigh her down as long as you both shall live?

Kris: Yes! That’s exactly what I’ve been searching for.

Dawg: I know pronounce you patient and caregiver.

I sincerely hope her friend is a paid actor because she is terrible. If she’s supposed to come off as bitter and intrusive, she’s doing a great job! Watching this left a weird taste in my mouth. The whole catfish thing felt so forced and scripted when she first mentioned the idea.

Father Isabel. 🥹 He was really very kind and understanding and I felt like what he said was really beautiful about how we make some decisions that change our life and some decisions we don’t get to make and we just have to accept it and keep moving.

You could substitute the names Jenny and Sumit and ask the exact same question. Except that I think Jenny would have been happy to live with Sumit’s family if they had accepted her. (edited to add: and to continue to have sex with Sumit in his childhood bedroom)

I sniffed it out right away and that’s why I accused him of gaslighting Nicole. It was like he was telling her that their obvious problems don’t really exist and it’s just a matter of time before she realizes how happy she really is.

So true. I’m sorry if I seemed a bit too dumb at the beginning of the episode, but an ADHD flare up got in the way. I completely forgot that Ahmed was the same guy who joked about hiding Nicole’s passport in an earlier episode! When the second scene with them came on, I suddenly realized and used that information to come to a verdict: Ahmed is a Nice Guy. Not outright rude and abusive like Mockmood, but manipulative in nature by hiding his clear motif behind his “nice” persona.

Between snarking and my lack of focus with these shows I forget who all these people are and what the6 have done week to week. Ahmed is a sneaky fucker.

And bare feet!

Pants, socks, shoes, elastic bands around the pants so they can’t get into the pants via the socks/feet area. Long sleeve shirt, gloves, hat, face covering. And the ability to run and get away from the nest - fast.

Probably around a 3 for me.
