S22.E34: Eviction #13

Recommended Posts

Even though his kids are cute I can't get behind Enzo.  He lied all season about making a big move and did absolutely nothing.  The one chance he had to actually do something big like voting Nicole off, he didn't do it.

I hate the way he talks in the DR ..not looking anyone in the eye..looking far off and then talking so nonchalantly.  I don't know...I can't explain.

I think Cody does deserve to win.  We fail to realize that the person who has people watching his back are playing a really good game (like Derrick) plus he won comps when he had to win.

I really discounted how insecure Cody is, because he's so gorgeous.  He's not my regular "type" but I get why he's good looking.  He's only able to deal with people being totally flattering towards him and you can't even JOKE about him not being perfect because he seems to take it really personally.

Did you guys notice that shot of him doing sit ups?  It was really pornographic, I thought it was hilarious that the censors were okay with it.

Dani's obsession with him gets more and more embarrassing with each episode.  I can honestly BARELY handle it.  How does she feel watching it back?  Her husband?  Her friends, her parents?  LOL?  I know nothing about her and I can't take it.

Do you guys notice how flirtatious Cody is?  Even the way he talks to Christmas.  The way he speaks to Dani, Nicole, Christmas.  His expression in his eyes immediately changes and he starts digging at them and laughing at them.  He uses sex as a weapon, LOL.  It certainly worked on Dani but not sure about the other two.

Go Dani! Poison that juror pool by smugly fangirling all over your crush and cutting people off! Cody might lose a vote or two simply out of spite towards his boho-Skeletor minion. Make the finale less than 100% predictable!

I had the same thought.  It would be hilarious if Cody loses because no one wants to vote for him because Dani is pushing him so aggressively.

I didn't see tonight's episode due to watching Supernatural, but I completely agree with you here.  I noticed it before but I really noticed it during Wednesday's episode.  That not looking into the camera when he is in the DR is annoying.  It is just so strange.

This line was hilarious.

Also, I wanted to add this last night but I just did not.  I am so sick of them having the formation of the "Root" in every introduction to an episode.  I have watched that damn clip enough times that I could probably recite what they say word for word.

He's always trying to come up with clever lines and puns.  I think he sits around rehearsing them for later.

This no way Enzo will find his 'voice' (I'll try to be nice too) at any point here and actually makes a move. We've seen him ALL SEASON talk big and claim he's going to make moves he never does. The finale won't be any different even if power falls in his lap.

What has Nicole done to poor Viktor? Close cropped and clean shaven doesn't work for him imho. It's like he's lost his identity!

Oh, and yeah that “that’s what I’m saying yo” shirt would surely outsell the misspelled Bragade shirt.

Honestly I don't think Nicole was the one to change him.  I remember during his BB season there were pictures posted of him prior to his stint on BB and he looks like he does now.  I think the Victor we saw on his season was the exception and not the rule.

The only way Enzo wins the game is if he wins final HoH and cuts Cody.

That’s the only way anyone but Cody wins. I mean, we already knew that but tonight the jury pretty much confirmed it.

That is his identity now. Citizen of Ubly, RFD.  All he’s missing is a pitchfork and a pair of overalls.

Cody won't win against Nicole.  She truly is America's sweetheart.  I think if she wins she'll cut Cody and take Enzo.  Same with Enzo.  If he wins he has to cut Cody and take Nicole who will most likely win!

I can't see any way Enzo can win the game.

I thought Dani and Nicole were tight.  Now they arent?

I'd love to hear who most think each juror will vote for.

I've said from the beginning Nicole will win this.  Her social game is number one and she can win comps when she wants to win them.

I don't think she can win competitions just when she wants to.

So this 'special episode', I'm assuming it's just a recap one?

Dani's speech about Cody about he had a great social game and won comps, gave me a flashback to the time when recruited "mactors" (model/actors) ruled Survivor casting. I believe very few of them actually won, but Big Brother has now become the nightmare Survivor scenario: a game designed for "mactors." Nobody has to make any moves anymore, just get in a big alliance, coast and pick off the "other side."

No surprise noms, no backdooring, no using Veto ever, no blindsides or backstabbing. The only tension with the amorphous blob house alliance comes with who wins HoH.

And this is a "good game?" Really? "I was so nice, I got you all to like me and also won comps."

I would argue the last actual move ever made in Big Brother was Tyler and Angela cutting Brett during the double eviction in BB20. Two years ago. It's been two years since anyone made a move in Big Brother that wasn't the amorphous blob alliance leading someone around by the nose until they're led out the door.

So wow very gameplay. Pathetic.

Victor is a state trooper now, I think, so I have been assuming the short hair was a job requirement.

I can't decide if Cody and Enzo's alliance is called "The Root" (which doesn't really make much sense) or "The Route", as in some kind of New Jersey turnpike name that I'm not familiar with.  This really bugs me (which tells you how lacking this season has been in terms of genuine thrills!).

I assume it's The Root because they're like 'the root' of everything going on in the game.

If Nicole beats [Cody] I am going to have a big laugh.

I want everyone to decide they're just really tired of Dani's burning desire to fuck Cody so they vote against him solely because of it. That would be amazing.

Another thing I remembered from this episode.  Cody stating that he gave away $500,000. last time he played because he was loyal.  He didn't want to do that again.  Then he proceeds to vote out his hope to win by keeping Nicole, whom he was loyal to.

If Nicole beats him I am going to have a big laugh.

I think he was between a rock and a hard place.  Christmas and Enzo are/were a team.  At least with Nicole he had a slight chance of her taking him to final.

Also with Christmas gone Cody puts Enzo in more of a position to pick him!

If Cody or Nicole win and don't take Enzo they are both fools!!!

Oh, did you hear?....Cody voted to keep Nicole over Dani. If that doesn't spell the end of female friendships, I don't know what does 😉

The Root. I guess because that s where it all originated.

I have for a while giving him WAY too much credit and thinking he's been saying the 'roux' as in the base for making gumbo. You always start with it and can't make it without. But like I said that's I'm sure giving him too much credit!!

I don't get that either, but I assume he was terrified Christmas would win HoH and immediately cut him?

Considering that Enzo is the biggest coward I've ever seen play on a reality show ever, I don't think he would have won HoH and kept Christmas or voted out Cody.  He's too much of an idiot to do that.

(Guys I don't know the rules, especially at the end of the game, so just pretend what I'm saying makes sense.)

So today's "Special" episode will be the annoying clip show of them sitting around with champagne and saying "Whoa, how about when THIS happened? Remember? That was wild!" *roll clip* over and over? Not sure why but that format throws me into a rage. Speaking of a ff button getting a workout...

Unless they plan to show clips of the many hours they cut from the feeds it’s a waste.

I always mute the intro because I hate the long-winded way the announcer does the recap, so when y'all started talking about "The Root" I didn't know what that is. Have they been saying that in the show, too ? Because if so, I really am spacing out on this season !

I don't gamble all that much anymore, but I would have bet $1000 that Cody would NOT evict Nicole over Christmas ! No friggin way. It was just so predictable. Of course, no bookie in his right mind would take that bet-- maybe they would, but the odds would be like 1-20 ! ( Which isn't good.)

I always skip that as well, it seems to go on for way too long anyway.

And the editors really struggle to create suspense, the parts which are meant to create uncertainty can even look a bit fake like it was set up (like that Nicole/Cody confrontation).

Ok so I do admit I did not think that, but when they kept showing her saying it (and showing the overlay of her dancing in that ridiculous romper) I was hoping that the show was foreshadowing a live eviction that hadn’t happened yet and Cody was going to bounce Nicole.  Alas.

Nicole obviously is - or has become - one of those “The Secret” disciples who think they can make anything happen for themselves so long as they visualize it clearly enough, and forcefully enough, for long enough.  Feh.
