The effort builds on the network's 2020 "Vote Actually" campaign that helped to encourage millions of young people to be ready to vote and make their voices heard. The new CW campaign is being developed in partnership with nonpartisan, nonprofit organizations including the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law, dedicated to securing equal justice for all through the rule of law; and Vote.org, the largest voting registration and get-out-the-vote technology platform in America. Among The CW talent featured in the multiplatform campaign, which kicks off today, include Sam Adegoke ("Dynasty"), Tala Ashe ("DC's Legends of Tomorrow"), Brec Bassinger ("Stargirl"), Coby Bell ("Walker"), Kaylee Bryant ("Legacies"), Melonie Diaz ("Charmed"), Liz Gillies ("Dynasty"), Grant Gustin ("The Flash"), Camrus Johnson ("Batwoman"), Olivia Liang ("Kung Fu"), Nicole Kang ("Batwoman"), Nicole Maines ("Supergirl"), Jeanine Mason ("Roswell, New Mexico"), Perry Mattfeld ("In The Dark"), Kennedy McMann ("Nancy Drew"), Candice Patton ("The Flash"), Danielle Rose Russell ("Legacies"), Azie Tesfai ("Supergirl"), Elizabeth Tulloch ("Superman & Lois"), Anjelika Washington ("DC's Stargirl"), and Karimah Westbrook ("All American"). The new "Freedom to Vote" PSAs -- which encourages viewers to get involved at Vote.org/TheCW -- will be broadcast during the network's primetime line up, across its digital platforms and apps, as well as on its social media outlets. Superman & Lois (The CW) Where to stream: The CW When you think of The CW's Arrowverse, you probably don't think about an hour dedicated to a thoughtful and emotional exploration of a woman's grief as she finally grapples with the miscarriage she suffered years before — but that just means you haven't watched Superman & Lois yet. The network's new superhero venture seems to be the most adult series in the bunch. Although steeped in comics lore — how about that John Henry Irons reveal? — especially in the back half of its inaugural season, the series doesn't have much time for camp. Instead, the show sets itself apart by leaning into the grounded, earnest family and small town drama of it all. It's at its best when focusing on the dynamics of a family with not one but (spoiler!) two super-powered members dealing with problems both small and, yes, super. A huge reason for that is the abundance of chemistry between its Clark and Lois, Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch. Not that any of this should be surprising given the series' title; the show was never meant to just be about the Man of Steel fighting bad guys. -Maggie Fremont Edited August 18, 2021 by tv echo 1 Link to comment

As such, Helbing allowed that Cryer someday showing up as the Luthor is “a possibility.” Link to comment

They were in the same room a couple of times but never talked to each other. ahisma September 4, 2021 Share September 4, 2021 (edited) Tyler Hoechlin said at Dragon*Con today that the entire reason for no crossovers this year was COVID. Canada was behind the US on test availability, and they didn’t get vaccines until the end of shooting. Each show had their testing schedule and were aware that a case would shut down a show. (Life was shooting and go home, that was it.) But if they did a crossover and five shows had to shut down, it would have been disastrous. David Ramsey was the exception because he was a director and was meeting the testing schedules for all the shows, so Diggle got to appear. Tyler had been looking forward to having Melissa come on because he knew her from before, and said she’s the nicest person. In fact, he was excited for the S&L show because he had met everyone during crossovers, and was really impressed by how great everyone CW hires was. Apparently S&L had been planning on a Batwoman crossover, pre-COVID, too. No mention as to whether any Supergirl crossover would have been an alternate universe, Kara has been “elsewhere,” or what. cambridgeguy December 8, 2021 Share December 8, 2021 Let's hope that bit at the beginning is a misdirect - one of the good things about the show is Lois and Clark talking to each other like mature adults rather than keeping everything a secret for no good reason. This is exactly the whole reason I’m watching this show — an actual healthy marriage between two mature adults, in the midst of the super-powered insanity. The biggest concern I had for the sophomore season was that the writing would become sophomoric and ruin the good thing going with Clark and Lois, in favor of the drama that so many of these shows think will last them several seasons. (They’re wrong. It gets old real quick.) 4 Link to comment

Risky to do it in the house. Gotta admit, not liking this trailer mostly due to the changes in Lois. I despise the trope where someone - in this case Lois - is mad at the world, treats everyone like crap because she's mad at the world, but won't tell anyone why she's mad at the world.
