Thanks for posting the article! It must kill the others that two of the newer Housewives are the most popular with fans, including celebrity fans. You'd think they'd try being nice for a change, but they seem to think bullying off favorites is the way to go.

I just turned on a Lifetime movie, Caught in His Web. Garcelle is playing the detective. It is a 2022 movie. She works at her craft more than the rest of the Beverly Hills women. I am so happy to see her getting these roles. Eat your heart out Rinna!

Haha not well at all is my guess.  Although she'd play nice with her to get revenge on Kyle and Dorit first!

Lol As much as Vanderpump >>> Rinna, I feel protective over Garcelle and Sutton. I wouldn’t want them to deal with chess playing.

IMO no matter how likable a HW is she's still choosing to be a HW and has to deal with the territory!

That’s a good question. Given that neither of them suffer fools gladly, there may be an alliance as long as there are the likes of an Erika (or a Diana clone) to jointly hate on. But eventually they’d probably turn on each other, because God forbid Bravo promote strong, healthy friendships among women.

It’s amazing to see, though, how LVP was the anchor of that show. It all fell apart pretty quickly when Rinna, Erika, and Kyle were left in charge.

I’d like to see LVP come back, but there’s probably no chance of that.

This is totally random. I have the ID channel because I love me some true crime. I started up The Real Murders of Los Angelas because it looked interesting. The narrator sounded familiar so I looked it up and sure enough, it's Garcelle. 

The show was suggested because I had already watched all of the episodes of the Real Murders of Atlanta, so I have no idea if this was a known thing or not. I just thought I would share and remark how jealous Rinna must have been when Garcelle got the gig. 

EDIT: It may have been on Peacock and not ID, I watch so much true crime, I do have trouble keeping the channels straight.

i honestly think all these shows should have a term limit on how long a wife stays .. cause sometimes its just wash and repeat after a while

I don't watch the after shows and WWHL, so I probably miss out on some details. However, given the trailer, I'm inclined to agree with you that something happened during the reunion that led Garcelle to put a nail in the coffin of her time on the show.

I think she had an endgame in mind, but something at the reunion solidified her desire to leave now.

Needless to say, Garcelle is far too classy and level-headed for these women. She actually has a career and doesn't need to do Housewives and put up with their bull💩.

I also think that, maybe, Garcelle started seeing the show as a sinking ship, which it is, and decided to cut bait now. I don't think this is the main motivator in why she quit, but it's probably a factor. 

I keep thinking about what Denise said about the show ruining her friendship with Rinna. They used to be pretty tight as friends. 

Similarly, Brandi burned every bridge the longer she was on the show, but she managed to get herself fired.

I think if you come onto a HWs show with a friend on the cast, or you start building a friendship with a cast member, the longer either of you stays on, you'll run into trouble and questions about loyalty, etc. I also remember hearing that Dorit told Sutton (in Sutton's first season, I believe) that what they're doing is a job. However, it also seems that Dorit believed she had a real life friendship with Kyle, so who knows?

I realize production prods the HWs to create drama. Personally, I'd rather watch a lifestyle porn show vs one of increasingly manufactured drama.

I think it's probable that Garcelle and Denise, and maybe even LVP to a small degree (because it was early days) realized that dealing with the Faux Force Fuckfaces just isn't worth it. That the mean girl clique is never going to take accountability, will always conspire with pre-meditated gang-ups, and take over the narrative of the show. And production continues to let them do it. 

RHOBH, if no other franchise, is supposed to be the one of opulence. It's Beverly Hills! Yet we have a rent-the-runway fraud whose house is in foreclosure (Dorit) and a broke social climber who rents a 3 bedroom (Erika). Bring back the lifestyle porn! Even though Garcelle lives well outside of BH, at least she has a legit career in Hollywood - that, itself, counts for something. Way more than what Dorit and Erika bring to the table. 

I said it in the finale episode thread and I'll say it here: this franchise needs a reboot, and what's left of the FF needs to be dismantled because their blind loyalty (even when Dorit and Kyle were at odds) and lack of authenticity have tanked the show. It's boring. At least Garcelle was asking the questions they intentionally avoid giving answers to.
