I don't know if they're prepping for a second season, but from the looks of their respective YouTube pages, these ladies don't look all that much lighter. 

In Tammy's latest video, she talks about crap that happened to her in 2019 but says she can't talk about one "major thing" and that's likely the show.

Amy posted a video today where she talks about being grateful to TLC and other stuff.  She says since Dec. 19, she's lost 23 lbs for a total of 123 lbs.

I just saw an ad, this is coming back in January, but I didn't catch the date.    The one sister seems to be doing very well from the photos.    I hope the other one is too.

People magazine says Amy (the one who had the surgery, and lost over 100 lbs) is now pregnant.     The sisters also have a brother, which I didn't hear about, or didn't even realize if they mentioned him.

And who is going to pay for this baby that the sister (who lost 100 pounds) is having? Does her husband have a job? IIRC he does but not sure it was anything lucrative. I don't begrudge these women the ability to have kids but it seems the paycheck comes from TLC.

I just wonder where the pregnant sister found a high risk OB practice, and hospital that could take her as a patient?    

My guess is a local hospital wouldn't have the specialists, and facilities for her, and the baby.

On a SoapDirt page, someone found a baby registry for her, and the due date said January 7th, so I assume so.

So after seeing Amy's face on the way to the ER, I guess she now knows what 'dumping' syndrome is (it's what happens to people after weight loss surgery that try to eat what they used to, and the entire digestive system rebels, violently).     I just wonder what obstetrician, and hospital, and what bariatric physician took these two women on?     

I'm sure we'll get more information about how they're going to go forward after Dr. Procter fired both of them.

Has this latest set of generations changed their minds? I mean, you can't get them to KEEP their sex out of our faces. I don't give a crap about that about ANYone. Why is this an issue or a "thing"?

 

Tammy should just keep SOME things to herself. And so should everybody else. Nobody needs to know what your sexual preferences are unless you are dating. It doesn't need to be a big announcement, flown behind an airplane on a banner, or broadcast in a Super Bowl Ad.. For cryin' out loud.

Yes, indeed, I'm sure they are enjoying making money off of their "story" and living in front of an audience. It is special for them I am sure. Even a few years ago they were likely living very different lives and couldn't foresee what the future had in store. Unfortunately, I also know how television and production managers work. They are relentless in trying to "push the envelope", regardless of what it does to Tammy in the long-run. That is the sad part. Like exploiting her search for love. It has opened her up to a flood of "foodies" out there; men that are more than willing to aid her eating addition for their own selfish desires. The whole thing is a blessing and a curse at the same time.😟

That’s great and all. When Tammy says it doesn’t matter what someone looks like, only how they make her feel, I interpret her words quite literally. I don’t know if she really understands sex and gender or even cares as long as somebody pays attention to her and the YouTube money keeps coming. I guess that also applies to whether someone is married 🤨 As with everything about Tammy, on one hand I continue to feel bad for her but on the other, “Tammy comes out” is just too easy.

First of all (I saw the People item) and God Forgive me (I was raised Catholic).. but WHO THE HELL IN EITHER GENDER IS HAVING SEX WITH HER?? and who the hell cares (obviously me for snark factor).. I agree. I was going to go so far as to say it’s kind of insult to people who actually are pan or trans or any other permutation of sexuality but I don’t think it goes beyond exactly what you said regarding Tammy being starved for simple affection. I don’t think she means it in a flippant way, but I do question why they dragged this “big secret” out over three episodes (if you count the previews) and treated it like a reveal. That’s the part I think is suspect from a production standpoint.

So married Jerry was trolling for big gals online.  He met Tammy.  Not being the sharpest tool in the shed, he is featured on a TV show dating her.  He is estranged from his wife with whom he has kids.  Yep, Tammy's sexuality doesn't have a damn thing to do with this mess.  Jerry is messy and Tammy is desperate.  I doubt she knew he was married. Jerry ran away because he was all about a side piece and in no way interested in moving in with Tammy and being a caretaker.  FFS he doesn't even live nearby. Reality shows love to make meet cutes (ok, neither is exactly cute) into serious relationships.  It was a super-sized booty call.  The TMZ article says he "moved out". Nope. He visited for a week then went home.  So little real drama, so much assumed drama.

Tammy may not have known Jerry was married when they first started 'talking' but she most definitely knew before season 2 began filming. I recall seeing various screen grabs of Tammy's social media accts where she responded to trolls. She replied that yes, she knew Jerry is married and no, she doesn't care.

Glad the baby is ok. I am not optimistic that Amy will just stop, take a breath, and concentrate on a healthy lifestyle for herself and the baby. I think she will get pregnant ASAP. I hope I'm wrong.

Too much psychological trauma from Amy's childhood. She is still a child herself. I feel sad for the baby. Hopefully daddy Mike (?) will be that childs saving grace.

I really feel bad for her about this, she is in her 30s and is morbidly obese.  I've spoken to people who have lingering effects of covid and I can totally see her being one of them.  I guess putting it in perspective, she wasn't doing a lot of aerobic activity anyways, so maybe the difference won't seem as bad.

Tammy didn't look all that happy about the baby to me. I don't think she wants a baby herself, she just doesn't like that Amy is getting everything she wants & she isn't. Of course, Amy didn't expect everyone to do for her & unlike Tammy, doesn't blame other people for her failures. During the first season it was Amy hasn't been checking in on me as much as she said she would, now this season it's Chris hasn't been checking in on me as much as he said he would. How about you take responsibility for doing for yourself? Even when Jerry suggested they take a walk, she gave him the evil side eye.

These 2 freaks (Amy and Tammy) need to figure out a way to make a living besides appearing on MY tv screen. I would love to see TLC follow the brother's (Chris) weight loss journey. He seems like he's doing the weight loss for all the right reasons...to stay healthy for his kids and wife AND himself.

These 2 freaks (Amy and Tammy) need to figure out a way to make a living besides appearing on MY tv screen. I would love to see TLC follow the brother's (Chris) weight loss journey. He seems like he's doing the weight loss for all the right reasons...to stay healthy for his kids and wife AND himself.

I would really like it if they shifted more attention to Chris. He is a likeable guy and I’m much more interested in following his journey.

I think shit just got real for Tammy and she realized it.

All the things Misty & Chris tried to tell Tammy for months suddenly her hit her like a ton of bricks and she realized the 'jig' was up - Amy, and to a lesser degree Michael, were no longer at her beck and call.

I think up - I'm pretty sure massive fluid retention is an effect of the body battling the virus. I wonder how she did in the hospital without access to food like she is used to at home 😬 I feel bad for her too but if she really got it from Jerry because they were careless, that makes me angry/frustrated. I think its a different story when you are regularly around the same people, like a small friend or family group, that you know within the group they are taking all of the precautions and being careful about exposure. Jerry came (again) from 8 hours away and we know nothing about his environment.

Doesn't he have like 6 kids and a grip of grandkids?  He may live alone and have been scrupulously careful but he doesn't strike me as that kinda guy.
