Bastet October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 The scene back at Tess' apartment in Woman of the Year. Sure, the backstage happenings of Katharine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy (this is the film on which they met and fell for each other) help in a big way, but this is Exhibit A in how films can be made sexy even under the Production Code. moonb October 24, 2014 Share October 24, 2014 I agree with whoever mentioned James McAvoy. There the famous scene in Atonement, for one thing. And in The Last King of Scotland when he has sex with the wife of Idi Amin (completely dangerous, stupid, and life-threatening also, but sexy). I don't even find him attractive, but he does great sex scenes. 1 Link to comment
Cobalt Stargazer October 25, 2014 Share October 25, 2014 (edited) I was fifteen when the first Terminator movie came out, so I wasn't old enough to get in to see it, but I conned an older cousin into taking me and buying my ticket. The first, and only, time that Sarah and Kyle make love is always simultaneously more tender and more graphic than I remember it being no matter how many times I see the movie, and it just adds to the pain later when Kyle ends up dead. "For one night, we loved a lifetime's worth." Guh. Edited October 25, 2014 by Cobalt Stargazer 5 Link to comment

Dandesun February 3, 2015 Share February 3, 2015 I love the entire sex montage of Annie and Crash in Bull Durham. That fact that the movie spent a significant amount of time building up the tension between them despite her being with someone else through the bulk of the film just makes the payoff better. Just so sexy and hot. On a completely different note... it's not a sex scene since it's a Disney cartoon and all but the scene in Tarzan when he climbs the vine to take Jane to where all the birds are... she's hanging off of him and they're just intertwined. Damn... that was ridiculously hot. 1 Link to comment
Vixenstud February 7, 2015 Share February 7, 2015 (edited) I love the entire sex montage of Annie and Crash in Bull Durham. Hunty! (Fans self).....Anytime I hear Sixty Minute Man I gets da chills! And dammit, someday Mr. Stud will paint my toes! Just saw American Gigolo the other night....now, this was a quick scene but for some reason I got very turned on; Richard Gere's character was coordinating clothes on the bed for escort appointments, all the while singing one of my favorite Smokey Robinson songs, Just a Mirage. I don't know why it was so sexy but it was. Disclosure - Ya'll know the scene, where Michael Douglas and Demi Moore are getting it on in her office..at first he's turned off by her but then he gets rough with her, lawd! Goddamned mirror had to ruin everything. (Fans self again) Edited February 7, 2015 by Vixenstud 1 Link to comment
ToxicUnicorn May 19, 2015 Share May 19, 2015 I love the entire sex montage of Annie and Crash in Bull Durham. That fact that the movie spent a significant amount of time building up the tension between them despite her being with someone else through the bulk of the film just makes the payoff better. Just so sexy and hot. It's Kevin Costner's soliloquy right before that montage that gets me. My list of movies seem to be related: Kevin Costner - Susan Sarandon in Bull Durham Susan Sarandon - James Spader in White Palace James Spader - Andie McDowell in Sex, Lies, and Videotape Andie McDowell - Hugh Grant in Four Weddings and a Funeral The scene between Hugh Grant and Kristin Scott-Thomas in Four Weddings was great, too. They weren't even on the same side of the room, but she made you feel how badly she wanted him. I guess these years were my dating years. (And then, kids and animated movies happened.) From the same era, I thought William Hurt played some very seductive characters in Broadcast News and Children of a Lesser God. Too bad I can't separate the reputation he developed later from his onscreen persona Now that I think about it, none of these men are appealing to me anymore. Sad for me. 1 Link to comment

methodwriter85 May 20, 2015 Share May 20, 2015 (edited) William Holden and Kim Novak dancing in Picnic. So staid and conservative 1950's, and still very hot. Dakin coming on to Irwin in The History Boys was very, very hot. And Dominic Cooper and his PG-13 scene with Amanda Seyfried in Mama Mia was great. (It's like the random guys come out of nowhere to make sure we stay PG-13. LOL.) Not surprising, they dated for awhile after making the movie. Dominic Cooper is very good at generating sexual chemistry with both men and women. Edited May 20, 2015 by methodwriter85 1 Link to comment

Spartan Girl May 31, 2015 Share May 31, 2015 For me, manners are a turn-on. So I found Thor kissing Jane's hand goodbye outside of the diner in the first Thor to be very sexy. And the way he "demonstrated" the alignment of the planets by lining up their hands in the second movie was also very sexy. 3 Link to comment

Cobalt Stargazer January 28, 2017 Share January 28, 2017 *bump* Liberal Arts isn't the best movie, but the scene where Josh Radnor's character and Elizabeth Olsen's meet at a college party after being previously introduced is more than a little hot. He'd graduated a while ago, so he was nervous about being around younger people, and she tells him he's overdressed because he's wearing a blazer and a tie. So she carefully undoes the knot in his tie, then drapes it more loosely over the back of his neck. I can't do it justice by only describing it, but even though it was just his tie, there were sparks. Because Elizabeth Olsen. Link to comment
MaggieG February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 The Boy Next Door. The movie itself was awful. I caught it on a Fri night on HBO when there was nothing else on. J Lo had a love scene with Ryan Guzman (who's hot). I was definitely fanning myself 2 Link to comment

I think that tenderness is the key. It's been a while since I've seen characters fully clothed and yet completely naked with each other. The drive to Kevin's my favorite for this. Chiron can't really flirt completely or laugh off Kevin's questions he's just so raw. Edited March 2, 2017 by raezen 2 Link to comment

Zola September 10, 2017 Share September 10, 2017 I watched, or rather rewatched, the original French thriller classic, "La Femme Nikita" (1990) last night: a great film embellished beautifully by the dynamic screen presence of Anne Parillaud (Nikita). Not only did she kick some serious arse, but looked adorable in her trademark "little black dress". No sex scenes to speak of, but that didn't matter because Ms Parillaud oozed sexual presence right from the off. Another favourite of mine is the revered lesbian drama "Desert Hearts" (1985) starring Helen Shaver and Patricia Charbonneau. a nice story about repressed lesbian love in 1950s Reno, Nevada. Director, Donna Deitch, does a great job from start to finish, and handles the explicit love scene between the two women with tenderness, respect and a bucketful of sensual erotica! Link to comment

Jude Law and Rachel Weisz, making silent love among sleeping soldiers. She comes to him, slips under the blanket and they have sex, removing only the necessary clothing items (bacause it's Russia! and it's cold!). This scene really made an impact when i was younger. Speaking of Ms Weisz, let's not forget her lovely scene with Tom Hiddleston in The Deep Blue Sea. Also, as crazy as the film might have been, the opening scene of The Counselor, with Fassbender and Cruz in bed and talking dirty? Hot. That is definitely not weird! It is a beautiful scene, in that they are able to find love in the most pressing circumstance. I also saw Enemy at the Gates at a young age, and Rachel Weisz's expressions as she makes love with Jude Law have always stood out.. The fact she initiates it and ends up needing her mouth covered also should be pointed out. 1 Link to comment

Zola February 17, 2018 Share February 17, 2018 We finally got round to watching David Lynch's "Mulholland Drive" last night, and not only was the story quite riveting, along with some fine acting and a beautiful score, but the highly rated and moving lesbian love scene was extremely well-handled - erotic rather than explicit. The only issue I would have with some of these mainstream films is that sometimes you really do have to do your homework with regards content because this particular film has an excellent & compelling story-line, which would have a broader audience appeal. But in some respects the lesbian sex scene (or any sex scene come to that), can sometimes come out of nowhere, either to justifiably reinforce a particular plotline, or as an act of pure exploitation in order to add a little spice for those more interested in looking at such scenes and not caring much for the story. But whatever the reason, if you intend to watch a film with your parent and/or other family members, and you haven't done your homework, then watching a sex scene can be uncomfortable for some. And Mulholland Drive, is no exception - a great story from start to finish, fine acting, and typical David Lynch direction; but the sex scene will either have you transfixed or embarrassed in the company of others. But anyway, Mulholland Drive is a damn good film in its own right. I will now step off my soap box, lol Link to comment
