  1. I know. I was so happy to just see Glenn and Daryl interact for a few seconds in the MSP. It would be nice if we get to have an episode or two with everybody together before they split up again (and not just a few seconds of them standing on a porch together)...but at least they had the good sense to give Rick and Daryl some "bro" time for 6x10.
  2. Even if the actor is busy or only is only under contract for a few more appearances for the season, they could have still easily worked in a line from Haley (or even Phil) in any of the episodes since the Christmas one. I'm sure some don't mind the Andy-free environment lately, but a name drop to acknowledge he's still in the mix would be nice. Of course, Haley's job is barely mentioned, just her still living at home status, so we shouldn't expect much.
  3. Yes, it's not like they had any other callers apparently. Amy would be a bad friend (*ahem* Sheldon) if she ignored Raj completely. Although she could've told him she'd talk to him offline...but where would be the fun in that? The humor was (supposedly) in Sheldon's reactions and valiant/desperate attempts at keeping things flag-related. Sheldon's still in bad boyfriend territory for telling Amy he would NEVER let her sit in his spot, IMO. Too bad he didn't give her that and a name credit for Valentine's Day...even if it probably only would've been for a few seconds and before the show went live.
  4. Didn't Leonard break it off with Priya after finding out she cheated (the woman he said he was thinking of marrying one day). Not that it wasn't pretty much over by that point anyway... They could've just kept Penny at @30 now and going through that on top of her first "ma'am". Throw in a don't need to be carded anymore moment and ouch. ;) Usually, I don't care for Penny/Leonard storylines, but this wasn't bad--especially the end with crashing the live show. Kripke appearance was a nice touch. Maybe I don't know my rabbits very well, but that one must've been quite a leaper to get all the way into a hot tub. Don't think it was planted there, though.
  5. I think Mitchell (and Aunt Claire) might have something to do with it, too. Little kid never really stood a chance...
  6. I'd still like to see Sheldon's brother on the show. I didn't mind Meemaw so much, but didn't think we'd ever get to see her on the show.
  7. Well, Kevin Nealon kept passing everything without giving the clue givers any real chance, so he was worse IMO. The celebrity lineup didn't seem that strong this episode, but Marlon and Mario did a good job for Celebrity Name Game.
  8. Good episode. I especially enjoyed Phil and Jay, but didn't mind any of the pairings. Glad the ducks got their send-off (cute but enough)...and Gloria could more than handle Cam without winding up giving in a bit (like Mitchell tends to do). This is yet another episode this season, though, that felt out of order. I for one need the break with Cam and Mitchell since Cam so far seems less annoying with other characters. I don't necessarily think it means there is any trouble with those two, just that the writers realize they need to shake up the character interactions a bit. I liked that Jay and Mitchell got to hang out and, yes, the hair ruffle was a nice touch.
  9. Well, I meant acting-wise. He's been getting quite a lot of attention lately--and now this role?! He would probably make a dashing Han Solo, though (whereas someone like Dave Franco might be edgier).
  10. That guy must've made a deal with the devil...
  11. Younger Lily had a crush on Manny. Her tastes are maturing with her age apparently.
  12. I enjoyed Mitch and Cam in separate storylines. Cam wasn't as annoying and self-centered as he usually is (IMO) and Mitch looked to actually be having fun and didn't snark as much (if at all). It was nice having him hang out with his nieces and nephew for a change--even if they dropped the ball big time regarding the gift (all's well that ends well, though). But seriously, Haley, feed the damn cat! Wouldn't mind seeing more KMK and Phil. Refreshing to see Ray Liotta...I mean, Ray...in something light for a change. Alex should've at least recognized his name/films even if she hadn't seen him in anything (hard to miss him now at least with all those commercials for his new show).
  13. Ugh, Claire, Mitchell, and Cam (especially Cam) were so annoying in last night's repeat (Gril, Interrupted). Boo hoo, they repaid a debt that they didn't have to repay. How unfair! And Cam looked ridiculous, of course. Ugh. Good thing daddy gave them "their" money back. So, yeah, not a fan of some of this one. Poor Phil. LOL
  14. Cam is all about him 99.999% of the time. I don't get that vibe from Phil or Andy.
  15. I believe Joe was already attending the Learnin' Barn when Jay said Andy just ate the last donut, so he was still around then. Jay wanted Andy on bathroom duty for Joe while at the Christmas cabin (so, hopefully, Andy was on the clock for that), and an episode or two ago Andy said he is working for half of Haley's family. So, I guess he still helps out Jay and Gloria when they're both too busy (cue eyeroll). (Didn't Jay or Gloria say he only worked about four hours a day, maybe not even the entire week?) The actor who plays Andy is in a couple shows on Comedy Central, so MF isn't stringing him along for exclusive claims to Bumper.
  16. "Fan-favorite"?? Sure... Good for AN, but I really hope he's taken some acting lessons recently.
  17. I thought Jay and Claire both were on the same page that Claire could one day take over. At least I believe Claire had considered the possibility. She has actually been working really hard at the company--mostly with clients--where she needs improvement is with employee relations (and the writers deciding whether they want to show her as competent from week to week). So, not really a surprise to me that Jay wants his daughter, who he has supposedly been grooming for years, to take over for him as CEO. Nepotism would be more if he tried to hand it over to Mitchell at this point (or worse, Manny! Ha); at least they've been stressing how hard Claire has been working. (Unfortunately, the writers have equally stressed how BAD the majority of the employees' general impression of her is). I think Lily's actress has improved vastly over the years--can't say the same for the Luke and Manny actors. "Andy, take off the blazer." Nice cabin! I want to go there next year for Christmas...sans ash, screams, and forest fires. Too bad Jay didn't arrange the fake snow again for Joe's benefit this time.
  18. There were some fun lines in the episode. (Pogo sticks--both real and metaphor!) Mostly I liked seeing the majority of the cast interacting and Catherine O'Hara! I had been wondering what happened to her (caught some of Beetlejiuce recently). Don't like the college girl and her 16 and three quarters and he used to take baths with Luke boy toy. Also, find it hard to believe that Mr. Jinkies! wouldn't break things off with Beth after just one hot kiss with Haley, let alone multiple times in bed. This is all very out-of-character for everybody except Ruben.
  19. Him and Skeet Ulrich.Thank you Jason for the snark (sorely missing on TD lately), and the audience member for asking a decent question. If we're supposed to accept Kirkman's answer that characters don't use the guts trick often because they're worried about getting sick, maybe one character should have motioned that concern at some point during all these seasons (I don't remember any comments). Drying guts, fine, but even that has never been an on-screen concern IIRC. They could always reapply--plenty of walkers around (not that I would want to use that all the time as my go-to defense against walkers...even if my nose has been numbed by Daryl's constant Pig Pen state).
  20. They drew similarities between Phil and Dylan, too, so apparently Hayley has a type--her dad.
  21. Plus, there was an episode where Manny was popular in general unlike Luke because Manny was invited to a big party and Luke wasn't. It would be more believable if neither of them were all that popular IMO. Sure, Manny is on the football team, but that doesn't necessarily make one popular. (Didn't the college girls seem to like Manny more, too?)
  22. 1.5 Uncanny Valley (w/Jack) just announced. Due out in January 2016.
  23. It's Andy's turn to do some declaring IMO. Hayley just broke up with Dylan (again), so unless they get back together (again), it would be a really awkward date choice on top of her wanting to go to their wedding in the first place. Did Gloria's aunt just die and I missed that explanation? Gloria said something like she made the sauce only once when she was eight, but has a jar with the recipe. No way I'd be able to recreate the sauce from memory. No one should EVER hand Mitch or Cam anything valuable when there is water around (sauce recipe suffered same fate as Mitchell's comic book). According to the show on numerous occasions, Gloria does SO MUCH all the time for her family. Sure... It looks like Joe learned how to tie his shoes way before big brother. (That was a nice end to Jay's video.) ETA: Yeah, I thought that was kind of young for shoe-tying.
  24. Why shouldn't ZL be on the show? He makes more sense than a lot of other people that have been on; he seemed to know and like the show. I was actually thinking him and YNB on the couch with Chris could be fun. (Heroes Reborn was barely mentioned and no name dropping of Geeks Who Drink, which IIRC had its fair share of TWD references.)Eh, I think they discussed as much as they usually do. TD does skip main sections of plot from time to time. I'll be in the minority--I liked this episode of TD. They all seemed to be having fun.
