Ham Radio is probably my fave episode. "Could the McAllister sisters stand back to back? I'm short on bullets. Thank you!" LOL
  3. The two boys are close - they're practically inseparable...in scenes. Unfortunately, I doubt that way leads to them being partially written off next year. (Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and the actors will want to go to college in real life.). Really, they get too much screen time together already and the Manny actor in particular (IMO) is not very good. I can see wanting to keep Haley and Alex in the mix, but occasional appearances by the guys wouldn't be a bad thing. The kids aren't always in the episodes, so they should be able to come up with ways to keep Alex at Cal Tech and Luke and Manny in school. I really don't care to follow Luke and Manny at college and all of those standalone scenes with only them *yawn, cringe* .
  4. Kind of? As the "wronged" parent, the priority should have been getting the lady to show him/share the video. He could have easily done that nicely and then, if he had to, taken her down - and maybe regret a little more that he did that after hearing about her son. End with her being rude to Alex so Cam is "justified" and doesn't learn his lesson AGAIN...but that wouldn't have been funny. i did like the combo of Haley/Alex/Cam, just not what the writers chose to do there. It must have been the shortest solo ever. Within like three seconds he missed it. (And there goes Cam spending an extreme amount of money without Mitchell knowing...again.) The best part was Sarge and Pea. I usually like the sibling stuff with Claire and Mitch, but that was a bit annoying. The Gloria, Phil, and boys scenario was a little flat (and come on, trying to have a conversation by bells?!). I enjoyed Haley's and Alex's college visits more.
  5. If Cam was nice to the lady - especially after what she said about her son - instead of being an ass, she probably would've shared the video. But no, better to be an ass. Ugh.

I believe I'm in the minority on the Niles ironing scene. It's been a while since I watched it, but doesn't he leave the iron ON the pants? Too stupid for the rest of it to work for me. Now, I do get a kick out of the day spa idiocy. Both he and Frasier were so stupid, but that fit their characters more IMO.
  7. Excuse me for not remembering the exact details. My takeaway was the non-Pritchetts didn't want to disappoint/look foolish/lose to the Pritchetts. I don't see how scheming for a trip to Italy was a way to avoid disappointing their spouses.
  8. Well, I didn't find it weird, only a possible missed opportunity for a callback. We just had an Alliance episode and this seemed like the perfect type of scenario for it since the non-Pritchetts should be sympathetic. Supposedly, Cam would be more worried about disappointing certain family members than others (something about being a "pork tease"?). Of course, Phil and Gloria had their own (déjà vu for some) storylines they were involved in at the time.
  9. But he's not constantly walking on eggshells, not even occasionally. His friends were major drunks AND they were smoking pot AND it was many hours of this behavior. Adam shouldnt have to handle Bonnie and Christy with kid gloves, but he should be somewhat considerate every blue moon or so. He wasn't considerate when Christy the mother (albeit the going way overboard at the time mother) didn't want him drinking too much in front of her son in her own home, either, and now he's dismissive again. It's showing that Bonnie and Christy are pretty secure in their sobriety, but Adam comes off as a jerk sometimes. So, it seems like something's gotta give soon (I like the actor and would like for him to stick around).
  10. Adam really doesn't seem to consider their addictions at all. Ever. So, in character!
  11. Dare we hope six hours of Keifth butler interactions will be enough time for them to fall back in love and for Cam to run away with Keifth this time? Unfortunately, they wouldn't go far - probably to the upstairs apartment so Cam can still co-parent Lily, and Cam and Mitch can divide their possessions equally. Then we could get the added bonus of Mitch awkwardly entering the dating scene again (with help from Pepper and Ronaldo) and each family member taking a turn at trying to set him up. That way might also lead to the return of Fizbo so NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  12. I was half waiting for some kind of comment from Manny like "Besides, being Joe's guardian will mean I'll be in control of his purse strings until he's an adult. Dance little monkey, dance!" (to the camera only or not - sometimes Manny isn't very subtle). Yes, bad mouthful of lines delivery from Manny actor - par for the course. (Why didn't Cam activate the non-Dunphys Alliance this time to save his derrière with the pig? Surely, Phil and Gloria would've understood his predicament. Easier to use up Mitchell's gift to introduce Keifth and pretty much waste Kelsey.) BTW, that's the second time Cam has accidentally almost killed one of the Dunphy kids due to food allergies - Luke with fake bacon made out of soy IIRC - watch out Haley!
  13. At first, Gloria being able to raise enough money for college as a single mom cutting hair (and driving a cab), paying for her own apartment (that she still owns, right?), and all the other expenses that would have gone with supporting herself, her child, and maintaining her "Gloria-ness" all before the tender age of 9 for Manny (I think that's how old he was when she married Jay) seemed a bit far-fetched. Then it was revealed it's only $40,000. Still seems far-fetched (especially with Manny's tastes) and naive of Gloria to think she really has it covered, but whatever. Maybe he'll get a scholarship somewhere (please not Julliard). LOL Yes, it seemed pretty obvious that Manny would raise Joe if needed (*spit, spit, pluck*). Maybe he could've been a little hurt, though, that they didn't even consider him? That might've required too much range... Really, Jay and Gloria shouldn't have even bothered giving that eBulter card to Mitch. We all knew who would be using/benefitting from it. (I was hoping that Jay would've made a reference back to how much he liked making custom t-shirts, but I guess the vision of Cam's apron coming to him in a dream was close enough; as a legit callback, it seems too subtle for this show lately). Thought Kelsey being on would've been funnier. Not his fault. Yes, reading the episode description, I did think Frasier storyline retread - but then, that happens frequently enough.
  14. Frasier: Niles, I would shave my head for you. Niles: A gesture which becomes less significant with each passing year. (1x22)
  15. Niles: Don't you DARE call me irrational! You KNOW that makes me crazy! (1x15)
  16. Well, that stinks if there's no one around to get to them and there's no other way out (and no way to pry open the hatch). Still, I would've liked to have seen Gail checking the ceiling for those of us viewers who've watched too many people on shows/in movies that have escaped from above. ;) Thanks.
  17. Or Mike! That would be particularly impressive, since he wasn't even on Earth when the show began and would have to fight off the illness. (Hey anything's possible until we see a body!) There HAS to be a ceiling exit in the elevator, right? It might be a moot point now (hopefully not), but they never showed the ceiling and Gail maybe had enough stuff to pile up and try to stand on.
  18. I did like how the kid still snarked at Jay and Phil even though they freed him from the locker. (How does that kid have any friends? It seems no one is safe from his snark.) Maybe Haley and Alex were babysitting Joe and Lily, since the parents of the younger kids didn't act like they had any younger kids. At least Haley got a mention.
  19. Loved the Rick/Daryl hug and everybody reuniting, but NO initial reaction from Maggie seeing Daryl for the first time after that night?! Seriously, that's the moment to skip over?! Ugh.
  20. Eric...who dared to speak up to Rick recently, so you know he won't be around long. ;) There were a lot of nameless Alexandrians in that church 'hand over the missing guns' scene. Maybe another flu will wipe them out.
  21. So, Cas can do a Jedi mind trick on one guy to make them all sit in the cars while everything is going on, but he can't stick around to do it again when they come to their senses and check on the President?! So dumb. What will happen to Sam and Dean now??? Oh, the suspense is killing me. Not.

I don't remember a lot of (any) shipping of Roz and Frasier, but then I liked them as friends only, so wasn't looking for it.
