Jevees. My son more or less saved an employees life during lockdown when she logged into his roll call online in the morning and appeared online for a couple of days. He was only a manager for couple of months and his employees are not even in his city nor does he know them age etc. He texted her twice in the morning with no responce then called her twice at noon with no responce so then called her ICE sister who also worked for his company in another city. The landlord of her apartment couldn’t just open her door he had to call police who first had to talk to my son. She’d been laying on the floor for 3 days and had a stroke related to Covid. Her computer was frozen. So very proud of him. So I asked him how he determines if I’m alive ? Does he look at Facebook to see my political rants? I was being funny but he said yes. So yes I also wonder because he often goes a couple days without texting plus I don’t rant anymore. I’m in a condo community that I go weeks without seeing a neighbor nor do I really know any.( 3 moves in 4 years). My 2 best friends will be moving to northern CA due to cost of living and they don’t really check in unless they know I’ve been sick. We used to live very close to each other I seem to get into a funk and don’t go to the store for days. I eat like crap not cooking etc. Just year ago I would go to the movies and i was the go to babysitter when grandkids would be sick and staying home from school. I wish I was religious ( had a therapist recommend church because that’s where her friends are.). I didn’t open the link but do I understand you have to check in with them? My daughter-in-law is a first grade teacher where her 2 boys go and I can’t tell you the weeks I’ve babysat one then another over the years. She was lucky during that time the school let her use her empty classroom to teach on zoom since she lives in a small house where my son was working too. She’d have to teach many ESL parents how to use a computer or program. Teachers aren’t paid enough! I loved Richard Lewis during his whole career. I’m saddened. Along with Gilder Radner, one of my favorites Mitch Hedberg and the hysterical John Pinette. Comedians are my favorite people on the planet.

I have a relatively non worrisome heart condition that can cause tachycardia so I am w ordering what he’s talking about. If two guys are double dating while still under contract I’d think it would be reason to not be paid in anyway or sued.

I was shocked about the years of monthly “migraines” with no follow through too. Geez. I remember him having to go to doctor before being very sick. . Yep time for new doctor. It caused was me to have a nightmare about my son whose has had many bouts of traumatic medical issues and hospital stays. I dreamt my son was in the hospital and I forced myself awake but couldn’t go back to sleep. Normally when I do this I lay there and think of all the failings in my life but this morning I realized how I was beside his side and being his advocate from birth to now at 50 ( he’s also hard of hearing) He has a lovely wife and 2 grade school boys but I’m the one whose is at the hospital 6-7 hours. Can’t turn off that mother worry just because he’s grown. They’re idiots not to have pushed the issue before this.

I’ve had to move so many times in last 16 years and gave so many books away but came across my copy of The Profit in my jumble of boxes in the office. Don’t even ask how I started watching those again and even fathers wear very casual clothes. One I saw a couple weeks ago groom and his party all had baseball hats on backwards.

Probably OT but I’m still in shock from this week. . I took my best friend ( whose husband doesn’t drive) to get the surgery for droopy eyelids. He got the one on lids themselves that most are familiar with ,and then one where the surgeon cut across eyebrows and the bone is shaved leaving scar in the eyebrows. The second one very much sounds like cosmetic but his insurance paid. Anyway when we go get him on surgery unit I swear my heart stopped. He looked like a clown. Perfect half circle stitched eyebrows up high. I’d not heard of this eyebrow lift to help vision but he was saying previously that women don’t get it because of scaring. On research they DON’T get it because women have less eyebrows and hair. They were cross stitch and he’ll have those removed in a week. I hope cream that helps scaring works. I just couldn’t accept Michael’s attire. Sorry. . I notice on the after-show he’s cut his hair. Even if she wants him to tone it down I don’t see him willing to do it. And maybe he shouldn’t have to. Let’s see who was the guy who wore a odd nightshirt or gown in bed every night?

It’s ok with me as is compared to the previous picture of what I assume is their house. Geez just random crap on shelves that don’t even make sense. Even thrift stores has some continuity on their shelves.

This late response but although I’ve had my share of colonoscopies I was nervous to have endo and colonoscopy couple months ago so asked GI office if I could take 1/2 tab of a low dose Xanax I have when leaving home. It helped for couple hours but they ran so late and was like a assembly line in there. The medication they give always wears off almost immediately never said anything amusing on way home. One of the drugs like propofol at least makes you forget any discomfort.

Yes @stewedsquash now I’m recalling seeing him telecasting from his home supposedly away from the rest of his family. Since I don’t watch I wonder if he counts that as his first bout. I’m lucky ( rarely) but my hearing aide company gives free batteries. One aide with most hearing loss uses slightly more power and it’s first to go but within little while the other side goes . When I got mine in 2018 I went to hearing center and guy that we used since my HOH son was little and I trusted him explicitly. A friend who needed them at the same time was going to go to Costco but I felt I wouldn’t get the same level of customer service. He actually wound up because of having Kaiser had to pay a fraction of what I did or was reimbursed almost totally, and went to private company When I questioned the guy I knew for years about batteries he said most people who start out with rechargeable after a year do change to regular batteries. I didn’t ask why but the friend who got aides same time I did switch after a year. I don’t know the reason. When he watches tv or listens to potcasts he uses a headset that’s linked so has a note by his door to put hearing aides in. The reason I got mine after my loss that came after bronchitis and pneumonia and earache ( the antibiotic turns out to cause loss + plus I’m old) was I wanted to hear /distinguish what my young grandchildren were saying to me. Recently I was hearing a beep every 3 minutes and could not tell where it was coming from. My freezer door had been left open overnight so I kept going in there. I’d take my aides out and put them back in going in every room in my small condo it sounded like it was in same room I was in, and driving me crazy. Finally my daughter-in-law came over because obviously my sons loss would result in same as my inability tone wise. She found a little beeper I’d had to find my keys that I’d lost receiver to it was on table next to me under a paper. She’s already won best daughter-in-law many times before for grander things. I had a terrible productive wet cough from Dec 31 until Jan 14. My ribs hurt so bad from constant coughing ,yet had no temperature or sore throat, total lack of sleep and nausea. . My daughter in law who went to urgent care right before I got sick had non proactive ,just dry cough had temperature and sore throat with headache and swollen glands They gave her Covid test RSV flu A and B . Said she had bad cold was given inhaler and non narcotic cough RX The narcotic RX syrup given to me I was so cautious taking it the first night maybe a 1/4 teaspoon when directions were 1-2 teaspoons. Well because of no sleep and very little food I was holding on to walls going down hall to bed. Can’t tolerate medication like I used to.

No mention if momma Clayton cooks for the family or cheeseburgers she has a hankering for. If she’s eating daughter-in-law food then she should help clean up. I cooked ,hubby cleaned up.
