Everyone on that panel pushes what they are involved in and it was half way through the show when Joy mentioned her article for 50 seconds . I could have sworn it was Star Jones wedding that cameras were taken away and they were the kind you’d get for one use…. That’s my bad memory for you. they were told ahead of time no pictures because they had a deal with a magazine like People.

I’d never listened to one of the podcast before so listened to yesterdays. I didn’t hear her as crabby. ( which could mean I’m used to it or I’m crabby too). I heard laughter and teasing and flattery saying Sara is so pretty so that’s why the hair stylist go crazy with her. She said what a darling girl young comedian ( name escapes me) and how nice Andrew was. ) She was answering her personality traits with self awareness and honesty. I think if you’ve been on the planet as long as Joy has and are witnessing the nation mindlessly getting into a time machine and undoing what we fought so hard for makes me frightened for the future ,and angry like it does her. Personally I’ve never thought Whoopi was a good moderator / host…ever. I guess there’s improvement from when she first came on and would come out chewing on food and slump down on their couch rolling her eyes when anything of pop culture was mentioned. Progress due to being hammered by producers and the public. The eye rolling and exasperation and lectures continue.

I think it was 3rd hour of Today Show when he was talking about the Boston theater he just performed his Netflix special in and he mentioned sold out Madison Square Garden and another big venture but this was by far the best in theaters. ( aesthetically. ) Since I have nothing but time to kill I looked it up and I believe he was a part of a comedy festival in MSG last year. That’s not just him! In my neck of the woods he’ll be at Chase Center most tickets $78.00. I'm a BIG stand up fan and have managed to see many favorites that aren’t stadiums and not had to travel far for most. I really enjoyed Andrew McCarthy segment too.

I somehow follow Chelsea Handler (I’ve seen her in concert too) on FB and watched many videos they’d do from her home and now I don’t like him at all. He broke her heart. Telling Ryan to “remember that “ about menopause was so dumb. So much of his standup is making fun of his mother which is getting really old. Probably the most boring segments ever.

I haven’t seen any of the movies either but was pleased to hear how good she was to the actors/ singers.

I have my vacuum in odd places but can manage not for it to be in a picture let alone on a tv show.

I certainly thought that but when my husband passed away I was told numerous times by the credit card companies that were in his name only I was not responsible for. They would repeat it to make sure I understood. I paid them off because it was for us.

I thought I read it here about using Comcast for Wi-Fi only and subscribing to YouTube was good. I’m at my wits end with Comcast jacking up pricing as just March when they went from 163- to 219. I spoke to someone for an hour and 10 minutes winding up dropping HBO and I see today I get notice that it’s up to 174 this month. So I want to act quickly and have spent a couple hours trying to sign up for YouTube tv to no avail. Seem to only get YouTube app working on my tv . I’m following directions and even watched a YouTube video but gave up. I subscribe to prime video Acorn and PBS. Anyone confirm that YouTube is the way to go? I’m so used to Comcast menu for 20+ years which is so easy to navigate and when at my friends house who have direct I think it’s looks a mess. My son was here for short visit and I tried to talk to him about it and he said his father was using Hulu and navigating menu was difficult. Maybe it’s my age.

I believe it’s Cannelloni with the stuffed pasta not Cannoli I made a beef Stroganoff once trying to impress my then boyfriend ( later husband) and don’t recall sour cream but I do remember dumping it down garbage disposal before he even came over after I tasted it. . I know I’m from outer space because of the cheese cake since I usually say there’s not a cookie I have met that I don’t like and can’t think of another desert I don’t care for. I used to make cream of tuna on toast and cream chipped beef in the beginning of my first marriage when I was 19-20. Didn’t use the can of cream soup for it either. My first in-laws were first generation Italians from Louisiana and I used to think it was odd they referred to sauce as gravy and often would sprinkle fine bread crumbs on top instead of cheese or have a boiled egg in it. Made their own sausage too. Now I can just tell my grandkids what a good cook I used to be.

We went to The Cheesecake Factory tonight because it was my 12 year old grandsons choice for his birthday. . I silently moaned when I was told as I’ve had nothing but terrible service there where I live now. I finally realized it was a waiter/ waitress takes your order and disappears and another employee always brings your food. It was that way at least 5 times at this location. Place is always packed because it’s in a big mall. The original server never is back till the end. Plates of food just sitting under a light etc. One trip my food never came at all but the family’s food staggered in. I’ve had great food and service in southern CA locations though. Well it turned around tonight and the waitress took our order, brought our food and checked to see if we needed refills. It was like night and day. I need to go back and read previous pages but thought since Cheesecake Factory came up I’d post. My husband made a mean cheese cake even though I’ve not had it ,don’t care for it.

I’ve subscribed to Acorn for years so did a search for it and it’s says it’s tgrough MHz Choice and I’ve not heard of that.

My mom was an RN and would say that too. Also when working nights that’s when patients go bad too. Both health and behavior.

When I first moved back to my hometown after my husband passed away I had to establish with a obgyn . Previously my long time GP used to do my pelvic exams unless I had issues like ectopic an pregnancy etc. So I was maybe 70 when I went to a woman OBGYN and at end of exam or ultra sound she asked if I was having sex and I said no. She said if you don’t use it you loose it, I was almost 70 and a new widow. I went back to her with an issue recently after not seeing her for years and she either told me at my age paps or mammograms are not done. I just heard on tv the other day that a study shows both woman and men patients being treated by female doctors adds to their longevity. All my doctors have mostly been women intentionally. I was lucky that I worked at a hospital and would get to know about them. When I moved I picked women doctors. I do have male GI doctor who makes note how many minutes he was at my visit. I guess insurance might work that way now. I was at my doctors office yesterday about an ear infection and my doctor has Covid so had to see a brand new woman doctor who couldn’t work the computer brought up wrong patient when she asked me about a medication and I said what is it? She said oh you were on it long time ago… nope wrong patient. She really should have had someone with her. I wear a pin that says I’m Hard Of hearing but back is facing me with a mask and accent. Mercy it was awful. think I’ll try the pillow screaming myself

We toured the Queen Mary when it was docked in Long Beach? Saw the barracks was interesting and sorta shocking. We spent the night on it too. My husband mumbled under his breath the whole time for spending the night on a ship not going anyplace ! Go well we went to Catalina Island next day. I was always in charge of getaways.

I just found this forum and didn’t know ELR was playing anywhere. I went to Netflix and Amazon so it’s on Peacock on my cable service which I’m not willing to add to my 3 streaming channels. I’d especially like to see The Contractor one since we were in the audience. It was interesting how the crew took pictures of the kitchen down to the last detail in order to put it all back exactly. I can picture Patrica sitting long faced during breaks and Brad came over and chatted with the audience. They also brought in a slice of pizza. Good times.

Just happened: I have delivery instructions with Amazon to leave packages under stairs to side of my door because I’ve had a thief off my porch. I have a case of a protein drinks I can’t get in the stores and cases of dog food and they’ll put them right up against my screen door so I can’t get out in addition to being in full view. .( door swings out) Ok I get it they don’t read instructions via Amazon. Today I left an envelope with Amazon written on it and put it middle to low on my screen door with a gift card for In and Out Burgers and a note to please put packages out of sight. It’s 7:30 my Ring notification motion goes off and my dog starts barking. I watch as he takes a picture and notices the envelope grabs it and walks down my sidewalk and opens it. He left them smack up against my screen door. If it were me and I read the note I’d walk back and move the boxes out of sight. Guess I have to stay home when I’m expecting Amazon. It was this exact time of night when a package was stolen and I watched it happen while in the checkout at the grocery store. Makes me crabby.
