I’m trying to remember when I got my first spontaneous foot fracture… 50 . I moved away 3 years later got another one , so sent for my records from my family doctor because I couldn’t remember which foot it was. I read the report from the podiatrist that I had osteopenia ,which I don’t recall being told. The biggest was a fracture was my femur after standing on a cement floor ( florist) for 10 days straight while the owners took a Christmas vacation. By that time it was osteoporosis and wound up taking Fosamax for 13 years. Back Atcha & krisen 111 : for years what I’ve noticed while going to PT in many cities is that PT students will be instructing / handling you , which pisses me off. On a good note I got to see Johnny Mathis twice and the last time was on Valentines night 2013. He was fantastic and only then did I realize he was only 10 years older than I was because I’d been in love with him since I was 14 and was a local star. My husband and I were in Las Vegas many many years ago and were talking or mentioned Wayne Newton and the taxi driver went on and on how much the city/ community loved him.

I was excited thinking Joys birthday was today since mine was yesterday… I knew it was couple days later. Love her! Now back to the show and not looking forward to any stripper?

I’m going to Disneyland in October. My son married a woman who is a DisneyLand fanatic as all her siblings. I’m worried about the walking and standing in one place. Ok French guy also has Botox forehead . When he said something about his salon included was a reference to “medical” . I agree with everyone’s opinion about these devoted family seniors no one is going to want to relocate.

Retired floral designer here. Some wholesaler growers would have occasions they sold to public. When my son got married in 2010 I asked my daughter-in-law where she was having flowers done she said I don’t know the flower grower I guess. Yeah my two best friends and I made them. It’s going to take a whole family of Browns to make this happen. Like most people over the years that go into to a flower shop and say oh this must be so much fun to work here, yeah no it’s hard work. Can’t tell you how many husbands bought their wife’s a shop because it’s appealing. They didn’t know one flower from another. They’re probably going to need green house etc. Wait for the first bride that wants a flower in a color that nature doesn’t create. Wish them luck

My first husband was Italian whose parents were from Louisiana. I was so bewildered as a young woman when I heard them refer it as gravy. He was my high school sweetheart from age 15. All the aunts and sister laws got together and made sausage ( which was also a surprise to see for me). I put ground sausage in my sauce but didn’t eat it in a sandwich etc. My brothers in laws and their families came over to my in-laws every Sunday for early dinner.

I have eaten ginger chews for years and drank Reeds ginger beer it’s really gingery . I have them in my purse or car at all times.

The cast of GB we’re on celebrity family feud and who is outstandingly young looking is Sandra Mason. Think she said she was going to be 76 and her arms, shoulders everything is firm. Heck don’t even see wrinkles on her neck.

I don’t know where to ask but has anyone seen Rob ,Josh (ex Natalie) and Jamal doing reels calling themselves the 90 Day Bad Boys ? One was shot in Venice Beach and despite not being fond of any of them I’m finding they singing and dancing cute. Kim and and even Jovi was in one. I think they’ve been going on for a couple of weeks so I’m probably late to the party. They are having fun and reaffirming they want to be in show business.

I wasn’t going to watch but am now because one of the guys is from my city.

My son was over Thursday and brought me Panera and was probably here 45 minutes. I get a text i@ 9 pm that he tested positive for Covid. This is his third case. I worry terribly about him because he has Crohn’s with no large intestine . The next day I woke early was very nauseated all day taking prescription twice. In addition had an all day headache . This went on for days except the headache was 2 full days. . I have GI issues so had nausea RX handy and other than not being able to eat don’t think it’s Covid. Hunting up tests kits i threw away at least 6 tests. I’ll take one test tomorrow. I had to google the isolation protocols all over since I’ve not gotten it and figured they’ve changed. I was to go to a wonderful art festival in the redwoods Saturday and my friend asked if I was up to going? What? I think what I’ve have going on is probably stress worrying about him ,our communication is text because he’s very hard of hearing and he’ll answer very briefly . He says he’s tired and napping but when I ask if he’s taking the medication that he did last time he just doesn’t respond . I ask about the rest of the family, he doesn’t answer. I know he doesn’t want to worry me. I’m pretty darn sure the 2 kids and his teacher wife went to school Friday. I had my last vaccine this last June but realize my flu vaccine was is due Sept 1. The new vaccine is in southern Ca but not here yet. On top this off yesterday I noticed water on my counter and was wiping off cabinet and under the sink was all wet. YouTubed how to turn the water off and will wait to call a plumber. hope I don’t wake up at 4 again can’t fall back to sleep and my mind goes crazy.

I’m much older than that hag, I used to bake in a tanning machine in May before summers ,only snuck a smoke in high school parking when I was 15-16 but I look 20+ years younger. There is nothing loving about her and the grandkids don’t have a chance.

There was someone here who attended a taping a couple of times. I know from when I saw live tapings of talk shows they would often have someone open… plus I hear they keep the studios cold. I saw Leno and Ellen shows live and and we were not encouraged to clap. Only request since Ellen was new it was that we were not to grab or touch her while she danced in the aisles and in the audience. It’s exciting to be in an audience and have that experience .

We used to blame their misinformation on the three o’clock guy .

In my condo I have the craziest washer dryer set up ever! I rented a 2/2 in sane community and it had a laundry room in guest bathroom with lots of cupboards and door shutting it off from tub and toilet Then i more or less was forced to buy this place which is 2/1 and the washer and dryer are in the one bathroom with I set of cabinets over them. They are about a foot and a half feet directly across from tub. The top of both washer and dryer have cleaning supplies all over them. . One cabinet has cleaning supplies and soap and other side my towels so bed linens are in a bin in my closet up high.

Last year on FB Pete posted a picture of his husband decorating their Christmas tree and his dog blended into his couch.

I read many many years years ago a book titled The Great Roob Revolution by Roger Price . The only thing I remember it was funny and think my dentist recommended it. Off to see if it made the 15 moves I’ve endured as it’s on Amazon for $179.

There are a couple of topics I missed that I wish I could have contributed to . Hurtful friends etc. i appreciate all the responses on tipping. I’ve always been a genious tipper and during Covid I overtipped I was so grateful for delivery and pick up etc. Last week I met my two best friends at a mall to escape the heat and we were at a food court and I went to I think it was a bakery type place near the table where we were sitting . I ordered a bottled drink from one of the 2 employees. It was $4.50 and the other employee moved the tip jar from where it was on other side of the register at so it was in front of me. I didn’t put the 50 cents in and got a sarcastic have a wonderful day! pissed me off to say the least here in CA minimum wage goes from $16.50 to 17.95 for fast food servers. . off topic but my nerves are shot and have a knot in my stomach. My ex husband is most likely dying and my son and a step son are dealing with it. They thought he was going to make it to one of those $9,000 a month different level care home after he was released from a “ skilled facility ” but he’s been going back and fourth to dialysis and ER and my son has had to drive him once!!! What? I talked a good deal to my son last night on the phone and he says his father will look good in morning then terrible in the evening. My son has profound hearing loss so we usually text or discussions like this in person. He mentioned the ex said something about me coming and talking about fun times in high school. I explained to my son I had talked to his father and messaged several times when I moved back to my hometown. My son just thought I had resentment for crap he did when we were married. I’ve had to watch my 5 day old baby die and had to watch my husband die should I feel guilty that I don’t want to go? He said that the ex said it was no big deal. Half hour ago I texted my best friend and asked if he was home. No answer. Thanks everyone I believe my 50 minutes is up and boy do I wish medicare/ Blue Cross would pay for a therapist.

I love Sunny’s hair, I hope she decides to cut the Alice in Wonderland hair off. I think it suits her MUCH better My best friend ( a guy 6 ft 4 ) maybe 20 lbs overweight went on Ozempic for his diabetes and lost 15 lbs but had to go off because of very painful leg pain. It did make him nauseated day of taking it . It was interesting to learn the schedule because I assumed you took it every day but that’s not the case. Sorry I missed did the wife put melatonin in her husbands water or was it a shake of some kind? I take melatonin on occasion and it dissolves in your mouth and it is colored and flavored.

@Yeah No I think we’ve touched on your inability to take anti nausea meds but did I tell you about reliefband ? Good for 50 hours. I have bad GI issues with nausea starting off a episodes. I read about it had my doubts but it works for me. Like a watch and band you put little gel on inside of wrist with the watch shape over it. You turn it on and it sends tingling from wrist ,half of palm and to little finger and ring finger. I wish I was tech savvy enough to post a link. Reading box now and batteries are not replaceable .oh I usually only have to wear it for couple hours

I had to jump through HOA hoops to get my Ring doorbell and very happy with. It. The key pad sounds appealing. I saw on some show also use long screws in medal strike plate because many landlords or builders cut corners using short screws that make it easy to break into . .With the Ring ( son put it in) and Ring phone tech walked me through linking with Wi-Fi I. was able to see a woman take a package off my porch while I was being checked out at the grocery store. One alarming aspect of my Ring is I see some old woman that has packed on some pounds coming in an out of my place. My mirror in the bathroom must be a magic mirror…. If it was the same as the ring camera I’d really not go anywhere ,which is part of the reason those pounds arrived after the majority of my life being skinny. It’s been very beneficial because once a woman came up to my porch lingered only looking under the staircase just staring , then hit my doorbell with the back of her hand. I posted on Next Door and many knew of her often being in a parking lot naked. I have been weepy too. My ex has been in hospital for umpteenth time this last week finally moved out of ICU and will need dialysis 3 times a week. My son had to drive back and forth 2 1/2 hours in 100 degree weather to get notarized power of attorney etc. Then when he was driving me home after babysitting he said perhaps he could stay at his house for 8 weeks while they found a nursing home. To say I fell apart inside is putting it mildly. He also told he made his stepson executor of his will. In his 1100 sq foot home with his teacher wife ,10+12 year old boys, a rambunctious dog ,a fish I’ve yet to see ,and approximately 3,000 Leggos on the floor . I wrote him long emails saying this is what social workers do, I used to hear them on the phone when I worked on a medical floor. Thank goodness that thought passed he must have been exhausted or the social worker may have asked him or step son could house him I’ve gone 15-20 years without thinking about him or giving a crap and when I blew back into my hometown he wanted to know if I wanted to have coffee, and that’s when every rotten thing he did including not paying for hearing aides or braces cutting off child support early etc came rushing back but maybe it’s just smacking me in the face what little time we have. I am sorry I must have touched on medical ,family and what I have on my mind during my moan. I live alone and my dog doesn’t seem interested.
