I lived in the central coast 98-2001 and 2004-2013 and there are many things I miss but happy to be where my son wife and grandkids are in my hometown in the Bay Area. If I had the money and family with me I’d love to live Mendocino. Used to visit and stay in Fort Bragg too!

I order a lot from Amazon including subscriptions for a protein drink not available in stores and dog food. I’ve been really sick so on the 8th after going back and forth about using Amazon fresh or a grocery store ordered cough medicine Pedilyte jello etc. from my regular Amazon account. I’m woken via text at 7:am saying my card had been declined. All fricken day yesterday I went between my bank and Amazon which kept saying I need to update payment. I was assured by the bank that there was no block. Cut to end of day I get notice 2 things I ordered late yesterday ( doggie pee pads and rug shampoo) had been charged on a card I don’t want to use because although 0 % interest the balance is high. They just used it because other one had not been going through. I wound up getting connected to fraud at my bank and it was quite informative. 1) she said Amazon did the block at 10 pm on my first order on 8th and I was unaware because I was in bed attempting to get sleep .2) She looked and told me how many vendors kept my card number and that’s how people steal your information. The card I use most had been kept 27 times which she deleted or inactivated She said when ordering online it will say in fine print down bottom about keeping card number and even when you’re calling an order can happen. . . One was Go Fund Me which was only one I allowed to keep my number others like a T-shirt company,Shopify and many I never did. She told me that once a decline / block it triggers the bank to then be on alert and decline. Every time I check on status of order in red says I need to update payment information which I’ve done 14 times as well as bank telling me twice there’s no block on it. So here I am without Pedilyte , jello and ginger cookies amongst other necessities. I’m not up to talking to a call center in India because I’m hard of hearing and don’t understand half of their “ customer service” which involves just telling me anything and repeating thank you Miss Clowns for that information a dozen times When I have the energy I’ll call Amazon again and tell them I’ve stopped my subscriptions until they give me an explanation. Life isn’t done testing this old lady because my freezer door was left open the night before to accompany my cough and Amazon frustration. End of my moan. Oh goody pee pads arrived.

The other day I read the Amazon registry (s) and if legit were very odd. Lots of things that 2 people in their 70s must own but perhaps they are furnishing a third home where you need a portable walk-in sauna and multiple coffee machines. Lots gifts has been purchased.

I’ve always been strong for my age but those jars were giving me hard time so I have one of these…it’s mounted under cabinet and it doesn’t show. Works really well.

I do the same thing Mabinogia with combined deliveries then poor delivery folks making several trips. There’s many drivers out there that aren’t Amazon employees too and more likely to leave them right at my door front and center. There’s a lot of package thieves as well a car break ends in my general area so I have added instructions to hide packages from vision of sidewalk in my condo community. A toy figure that one grandson wanted got double ordered ( I cancelled one on their recommendation when it was delayed 10 days) and both came at same time today. One came in an envelope and was smashed and the other in perfect size box. I have to chuckle because the grandsons think these are going to increase in value so they leave them in the box. Amazon has always rung my doorbell .I have new Ring and I get notices and an early overnight delivery I didn’t hear because I sleep with ear pods in and I’m hard of hearing ,but my doggie barked so he heard. Everyone is working so hard. My gripe is huge boxes with a non breakable small item then the breakables in an envelope.

I’ve been watching and loving British shows for. years. Binge watch so many. Some good New Zealand ones too . I also just watched Jim Gaffigan’s special on Netflix and found it very funny. I’ve seen in him person and now he’s a little edger. Since I saw Nate Bargatze on SNL watched his special too, previously never heard of him. I’d love to see Sebastian Maniscalco in person but tickets were close to $400 near me.

Typo sorry I typed JW and could have sworn she said because they don’t believe in sex before marriage . Which I thought at the time didn’t make sense because she was married before. kristen111. I’m so sorry about the shocking news about your first love. I love stand up so much. It was what my late husband and I did anytime we could. The 3 months before his death I jammed in as many as possible including his favorite Brian Regan ,Kathleen Madigan and Lewis Black . I even called Kathleen’s manager because the venue was not showing when tickets where going on sale. Now back in my hometown after my husbands death I couldn’t go see Brian for some time but did last year. Paula Poundstone is who I saw for the 5th time Saturday When I was speaking with her I told her the first I saw her was when she first blew into town ( San Francisco ) she asked if I remembered the club name which I didn’t just it’s location. She is brilliant ! I re- read one of her books the week before. Ups and downs during 35 years of marriage we made each other laugh. I miss it the most.

I thought from her description she was describing a yeast infection . A UTI taking antibiotic can cause a yeast infection though. The UTI have had there was no ignoring it as it was very painful.
