  1. We’re now 3 for 3 on a “listing” couple staying in the house after all. This week’s Change of Heart, the couple said that they listed the house, but couldn’t sell it for the price they wanted, which makes me think David’s appraisal numbers are total bull. I’m guessing the couple couldn’t sell without fully recouping their reno investment, although they did build enough equity from the project to put in a beautiful pool/backyard, which ain’t cheap.
  2. I thought the first episode was a pretty good setup, but the second episode fell kind of flat. The Bonnie stuff went on for too long with too much artistic filler. Mark was probably the last person they’d want to defect, since he had hundreds of hours of footage of the inside workings of the organization. Him cutting off the recording to get Sarah’s story was pretty chilling, getting to unravel the story with past-him for the first time.
  3. Like a DoD issued security clearances? That doesn’t seem right. Do you mean a background check?
  4. The Long Beach realtor seemed to be much more front and center than the buyer, I feel like they applied for the show mostly for her benefit. She pointed out a lot of things and explained the positives and negatives, whereas usually the realtor is just wallpaper who nods at all of the buyers complaints and occasionally makes a snarky face.
  5. Is it still the night of the nurse’s ball? What time is it? Hours have to have passed between Brook getting surgery, Taggert recovering from a bullet wound, and Michael chasing Nelle all over UPNY. Why are Joss and Trina at Kelly’s in the middle of the night?
  6. I’m betting Vincent has her so he can get more stock footage of her for his iPad, since the first round of brainwashing didn’t quite take.
  7. Logically, the second the judge called out their sham marriage and they fessed up, they should have annulled the marriage and just hired Willow as Wiley’s nanny.
  8. Yes! I’ve found myself shouting “kick him in the nuts!” a lot. Then there was the moment he was having his breakdown, and she decided to comfort him, instead of taking the opportunity to run.
  9. They tried to have her write with a pen but said the drugs she was given impacted her motor skills and she wouldn’t be able to use her hands until it wore off.
  10. My god Ciara, squeeze your boobs through that bathroom window and GET OUT of there!
  11. Two really great moments of UCG today. First goes to super sleuth Michael trying to guess Nelle’s password, because only he knew her well enough to guess her and Wiley’s birthday. I was waiting for him to try 1-2–3-4. Second goes to Sonny’s response to Taggert reporting a woman was being attacked on the dock and her assailant presumably being able to finish the job after taking out Taggert. “We’ll revisit that.” I mean we know it was Nelle and Julian, but Sonny doesn’t.
  12. I don’t know, with the promotion of skin to skin directly after birth, most first photos I’ve seen (and been in) look almost identical to Joy’s. I assumed since they looked like they were in labor/delivery, and there was no sign of shower caps or surgical gowns, that it was a vaginal birth, but I’m not really familiar with postpartum protocol for c-sections.
  13. I’m pretty sure they were blurred because Derrick wouldn’t sign a release. Because (a) he’s petty like that and (b) he doesn’t want TLC to profit off his kids’ image. I also feel like Derrick’s feud with TLC is mostly one sided, since they’ll still feature Jill from time to time.
  14. Spinelli finding Nelle’s phone is bad for Nelle, even though Nelle doesn’t physically have it, because the phone has a tracking app on it that’s tracking Wiley’s stuffed animal. If Nelle did think of everything though, she dumped the tracker, and the unnecessary focus it’s been getting (did she need a GPS to tell her that Wiley was in the Q mansion... where he lives?) is a MacGuffin.
  15. I know there’s no way they’ll let Chase find Wiley, but I really wish they’d let Chase find him. The brief tension between him and Willow while he was interviewing the Q’s was the most I’ve liked her since she married Michael.
  16. Congrats to Wally Kurth for getting two solid Emmy rolls this year. He had some great material on Days earlier this summer too, maybe he’ll be competing against himself for supporting. Too bad the story is all about Sonny from this point on.
  17. As a mother of a current 2 yo, Felicity 100% chose that headband and put it on herself. I’m impressed that she settled on only one headband.
  18. They’re airing a “Change of Heart” update episode before new episodes this season, and already one of the earlier season 8 couples who said they were listing have decided to love instead.
  19. The nurses’ song was bad. Really, really bad. Like I had to mute it to keep my ears from bleeding. Why did they make them sing in that register?
  20. You’re right. It needs a closet and an egress door or window outside.
  21. I know she said Mac, but it was such a missed opportunity to have Brooke find Robert F Scorpio for help, because we know from yesterday that Nelle has something he needs, so he has his own roundabout vested interest in stopping her ploy.
  22. Brooklyn, Brooklyn, Brooklyn. Everyone knows you call the cops BEFORE you dramatically confront the villain.
  23. I’m pretty sure they use LVT in most of their houses. It looks like wood, but is actually vinyl. I hated the new windows they put in the sunroom. They were way too small, but obviously they would cheap out on them, since that wasn’t a part of their budget.
  24. She said last week that she was 10 weeks.
