  1. We did not do a birthing class for #2. I guess it would make sense to take a class if you want to try a different birthing method, or maybe they were taking it since it's Peter's first baby (even though he helped deliver James...) I'm pretty sure it was more setup for the inevitable Brooke/Maxie baby swap.
  2. I really wish they'd Mac Scorpio that accent already.
  3. Yeah, when he started down the “what about the pen?” path, I almost noped out. I don’t care who Q might be. I don’t care if the original Q went away and the Watkins began to sock puppet the account to maintain the traffic. I’m more interested in how the movement bubbled out of control, which is why I wish they stretched out the first part.
  4. I was hoping they’d delve more into the timeline of Q and how the posts coordinated with real time and the people who got caught up in it, so I really enjoyed the first hour. The second hour, not so much. Jim Watkins is such a troll, and I was annoyed to see that the “drama” surrounding the 8chan team is going to carry into (and possibly dominate) the rest of the series.
  5. I get that they'd be "old enough" to be his parents, but it would be a way for him to learn about the women his sisters grew up to be, and stories about his parents as grandparents. I know he might not mentally be in that headspace yet, since he's still trying to find James Bucky Barnes and absolve his guilt from being the Winter Soldier. I would have appreciated a line like "Have you called your niece yet?" and for him to say no.
  6. One thing that bugs, is that they say that Bucky has no family, but then he goes onto say that he had four sisters. I get that they've all probably passed, but does he have no nieces or nephews to connect with?
  7. The guy is Wyatt Russell. Offspring of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. He'll be fine.
  8. I watched the theatrical release again, since it had been several years, and I don't know if Snyder benefited from lessons learned surrounding the film's criticism, but his version was much better. A lot of commentary said that his film wasn't as light or funny as Wheadon's version, but honestly, all of the best jokes from the movie were in the Snyder cut ("I'm rich" "Did I not talk before" "I bought the bank.") The movie was definitely bloated. Fight sequences lasted way longer than they needed to. Slow motion sequences went on forever. The epilogue from Luthor's escape on needed to be axed. I think every scene in the movie could have been trimmed to keep the pace going. (I was screaming at my TV to get to the point already during the Joker scene!) I really enjoyed them fleshing out Victor/Cyborg's story and his complicated relationship with his father. That was all a great addition. I'm also glad that they gave Barry/Flash more to do in the final battle than push a pickup truck really fast. Another improvement was changing the narrative around Superman's resurrection. They clearly framed that Steppenwolf and Darkseid were invading now because they were afraid of Superman, and that they could only defeat them with his help. I found that better than making it about Bruce's guilt, and whatever argument he had with Diana over it. The final battle was long, but it gave everyone something to do, where as the theatrical release it seemed like everyone was just standing around while waiting for their cue. Arthur/Aquaman did get some extra development, but was still largely just kind of there. Still, the best version of this movie is going to be the 2 1/2 hour version of the Snyder Cut that a fan edits and posts on YouTube. I'm an idiot, because I assumed it would have been Clark's, but now I'm realizing that enough time had passed from his death to build an elaborate memorial and for Martha's house to be foreclosed, so obviously far more than a month or two had passed.
  9. The best part is that it’s in 4x3 aspect ratio.
  10. I missed today’s episode, but the eyewitness is obviously Cyrus, right?
  11. It's the same plot, but things were pretty different. Granted, I haven't watched the theatrical release since it came out, but the final battle especailly, was a totally different movie (I just remember the Flash and Superman rushing around to save all the Sokovians ala Age of Ultron, which, does not happen at all in this version.) This movie was fine. I watched it. All 4 hours. The end was kind of weird. I'm not sure why they set up all this exposition for future Batffleck adventures, when they now have Pattman. All of that was new material they shot in October too. It just seemed weird (and went on forever...)
  12. I appreciate the show's loyalty to Carly Schroeder, since she grew up in the role, but they really need to recast her and bring her onto the canvas. She's one of the few characters with major history who isn't related to anyone. Then again, this show loves to kill of Scott's kids every chance they get, so maybe she's safer in Offscreen-landia.
  13. It was nice seeing Chad Brannon today, but watching William Lipton chew through his Emmy reel, really makes me wish JJ would come back for a scene with him to pass on the torch.
  14. Zander tomorrow! I'm bummed that Chase and Willow are doomed, since she's the only viable love interest for Michael on the canvas right now. I thought it was really sweet when she offered to go with him and he admitted he was too afraid to ask her. It's nice when she's treated as an actual person and not just Wileysmom. Oh well, hopefully JS has good chemistry with Amanda Setton.
  15. I think she saved the letters in case she wanted to give them back to Austin when he was older. Ginny, presumably knew which prison he was actually in, and mailed them. I know they're trying to frame Austin's sociopathic behaviors on his father, and hit that his father is really dangerous, but Georgia is clearly the sociopath. If anything, I bet she framed Austin's father for one of her crimes and is worried one of her web of lies will be unraveled if Austin's father finds her. Given how fixated Ginny was on Georgia still having a family, and how poor her decision making was the last few episodes, she's 100% going to find Georgia's parents (when she should really be going to Zion's parents.)
  16. The Seewalds do not seem to be rolling in money, in my opinion. They're living in her Grandmother's house that they outgrew two years ago, driving around the same used minivan they've had for 6+ years. Yeah, they shop a lot on Amazon, but you can get plenty of cheap crap off that site. They seem to live within the means of whatever Jim Bob allocates them from TLC money and whatever they pay Ben to tutor the kids. The Vuolos on the other hand, seem to live well outside of their means between takeout and clothing alone. I don't know. They live in single family homes that are paid off and most likely don't have an HOA. They're paying property taxes and utilities. And with the way they throw around and slap on LLCs, property taxes are questionable. The Vuolos might pay utilities. Maybe. But I doubt they're paying anything for housing. That's all being leeched off the church.
  17. Would they bring RoHo back as Elizabeth's brother though?
  18. Woah, I take it back Carey Mulligan didn’t make the cut for BAFTAs.
  19. The boys were “real” in that they really were Wanda’s sons, and weren’t mind controlled children that Wanda found in Westview (which was the original context of my quoted post.) We know now that they can’t exist outside of the Hex (yet) which, I agree, makes them being “real” a real stretch.
  20. Francis will need the SAG to stay in the race, because Carey has the British advantage for the BAFTAs. Andra Day isn’t up for a SAG, and we’ll have to see if she makes the cut for the BAFTAs tomorrow, but again, Carey has the British darling advantage. Rosemund Pike is another spoiler though, since she got the comedy GG. Supporting Actress could literally go anywhere at this point. I just don’t see the Academy giving an award to Borat though.
  21. She doesn’t fit the Ellen role at all, but Katie Holmes would be perfect casting as Sara Waisglass’s mother. They both have the melty wax face down pat.
  22. I think Wanda didn’t cry because she knows she has the power to bring them back. She just needs to learn how to cast the spell without tangling others in it.
  23. I misheard Jimmy when he called “Cliff.” I could have swore he said “Clint” and was confused when he never showed up. I thought it was weird that no one thought to call Clint to begin with, since he probably would have straightened things out in under an episode. I’m still not sure how I feel about this episode. Underwhelmed, I guess. It checked off a lot of boxes that people were speculating. Wanda got her (amazing) new costume. The Vision got Vision’s memory upload, and I guess is taking some time to digest it. And Wanda is starting to tap into her magic. I guess I was expecting more, but they’re saving the multiverse stuff for the movies. Trolling with Fietro was brilliant and certainly got me invested in a show I was otherwise just watching for the sitcom references.
  24. Was Ralph Bohner a shoutout to Boner from Growing Pains?
