  1. I still think Agnes is the Big Bad of this show, whichever character she turns out to be. I think she was putting on an act to get Vision to the boundary, possibly to provoke Wanda to take out the SWORD camp. Otherwise, after Vision put her back in Agnes mode, she should have been catatonic again, I would think.
  2. Yes, this was very Malcolm in the Middle/Even Stevens-y. I’m surprised they didn’t do some sort of Roseanne/Home Improvement type show in between. 80’s/90’s family sitcoms do have a pretty similar aesthetic and structure though.
  3. I'm sure the Dillard's were "invited" to attend with a huge asterisk of terms and conditions to meet that they would never possibly agree to. What I find odd is that they didn't have one of the Howlers or Lost Girls transport the gifts like they've done previously.
  4. Yes. It’s part of hospital’s baby friendly initiative. My kids (2018 & 2020) were only in the nursery for their checkups.
  5. Majority of the strawberries look good to me, but the ones most prominently framed look white near the stem, so are probably pretty under-ripe/tart.
  6. I'm not saying I agree with Austin, because I don't think people who flip houses are ever doing it in the buyer's best interest, rather only their profit margin, but permits are public record. The buyers should have looked up all the permits pulled on the house rather than taking Austin's word. Unfortunately, when you buy a house, you take on all the warts as well. It also looks like seller disclosures on property condition is only encouraged in Arkansas, and not actually required, which again, puts the bulk of due diligence on the buyer when making a purchase.
  7. Is it possible, maybe, that Jinger requested McDonalds and Chick Fil A for her birthday meals? Didn't she want pizza and In N Out last year? I'm just saying, if I let my husband choose restaurants on his birthday, that's the same line up he'd choose.
  8. Just watched Jinger's birth special. I was confused about the midwife. Were they just using her as a doula? Or did they just hire this lady to film a "what to expect scene" since the crew wouldn't be allowed at Jinger's OB office. Also, CRAZY rude to invite her into their home without wearing a mask. Given they're around a camera crew without masks, I'm speculating that all of them were being tested, especially since they were filming in California, but still, with the size of the Duggar bubble, they're constantly an asymptomatic carrier away from a massive outbreak. I had a COVID delivery in June, and my children have a similar age gap to Felicity and Evy, so it really melted my heart to watch them interact. Two year olds may have terrible attitudes much of the time, but they're terribly adorable too.
  9. This drove me crazy! And he travelled a lot with his recent project being in NYC. Where did he pick up this accent? I've usually liked the Christmas movies that CMM has been in, but this one was pretty boring, and I checked out almost immediately.
  10. I love "It Happened One Night"-esque road trip movies, so I like Cross Country Christmas. There was another one on ION last week (Dashing Home for Christmas) that I didn't think was nearly as good, so maybe my expectations were already low. I thought Rachel Leigh Cook and Greyston Holt had good chemistry. With the commercial free marathon of 2020 movies coming up, what are this year's must watch movies? I've been mostly underwhelmed, but I've also missed a lot of them.
  11. I still lean toward Jill’s absence being due to filming. She was at Joy’s baby shower over the summer, and they went shopping together recently too. Most likely Jill is absent when the camera crew is around because there’s animosity between her and the show. Or it might be one of the terms of the payout she received.
  12. I owned a 1960's rambler in the DC 'burbs, and the front door opened into the living room, and on the adjacent wall, there was a side door, which was technically in the same room (living room opened into the dining room.) Very similar to Joy's layout (although our kitchen originally had walls, which we knocked down to open up the kitchen.) I think it's a fairly common layout, but yes, you wouldn't see it much in New England, where colonials are king. Props to Bella for openly protesting being dragged to a super spreader event.
  13. After being disappointed with most of the offerings this year, I caught The Spruces and The Pines from 2017 on ION the other night. It's a Hatfields/McCoys/Romeo/Juliet premise about two rival Christmas tree lots. It's always refreshing when the lead couple gets together well before the final act. I'll definitely add that one to my rotation for future seasons.
  14. I admit, I tune into B&B every so often for a good laugh. I mean it's great that they're taking COVID protocols seriously, but the tight framing and stand ins for kissing looks like those YouTube fan videos for couples that were never actually canon.
  15. Yes. I never trusted the little bloomer diaper covers that came with little girl dresses either. The tighter leggings/biker shorts were the second line of defense to leaks and blowouts. I figure if the temperature is appropriate for the boys' legs to be covered, it's appropriate for Ivy's to be covered too.
  16. I agree re: Happiest Season. Davis's character was pretty awful at times, I was really rooting for Aubrey Plaza by the end.
  17. Isn't the protocol to shut down production for 2 weeks if someone on set has it? That's what Days did a few weeks ago. I would hope they're filming in blocks, and actors have to quarantine for two weeks leading up to their first day of filming, but GH seems to be pretty loose on their restrictions.
  18. Felicity definitely took it. You can access the camera without unlocking a phone. Pretty much every time I pick up my phone, I find 37 new pictures of my daughter's forehead or feet.
  19. You can tell this show came from a 30 Rock alum. I thought it was a lot of fun, and signed up for the Peacock free trial to watch the rest.
  20. Wouldn’t that make him Claire’s uncle?
  21. Weird move. I would think Dreamworks' VOD success with Trolls 2 would inspire them to do the same with Croods 2. Especially when more people will be eating at home this year, and will want to keep their kids occupied while they prepare Thanksgiving dinner.
  22. I haven't watched in a week, so of course I had to tune in the day Michael and Willow hooked up. Ew. I don't care that Chase will surely loose this triangle, because he is not the show's chosen one. But I really hope they don't ruin him in the process. He's one of the few good things left on this show. At least he has that "my brother is my father" story to fall back on.
  23. I have a two year old, and this is an exact replica of half my camera roll.
  24. It’s 16 for a learner’s permit and 17 for a license in NY.
  25. I don't see what the big deal is about Evy being there. She's a nursing infant. She'll eat and sleep the entire time. If she brought Gideon, then I'd understand patrons being annoyed, but I don't think that nursing mothers should be shunned from society until her child is done nursing. Yes, she could have left some pumped milk or formula with a sitter, but it's her choice on how she wants to feed her child.
