Sasha must have been reading the boards with her half assed, “I guess I’m kind of a hypocrite for helping Michael steal his kids!” And Jason’s quick, “Oh no, it’s totally fine when you do it!” Girl, Michael is going to take your kid from you too.

Sonny’s reaction to Lois’s lie was hilariously self centered. “Oh, when Gio was born, you didn’t know he was my grandson? What’s the problem, then, if you weren’t lying to me?” Like who cares about Dante and Gio. For some reason, this reveal wasn’t on my radar. I loved Nina’s realization clicking into place.

Probably the gate house, since Willow moved out to live with Drew.

The obvious budget cuts really took me out of the episode. Like both actors were there while you were filming, but no, they can’t pepper in a few reaction shots because then they’d have to be paid! At least Aunt Molly was there!

My favorite part of today’s episode was Jane Elliot forgetting her line and Steve Burton saying it for her. “Ketamine?” “Yeah, that.”

Wow, the recast is significantly younger than Chad Duell. Rory Gibson is almost Michael’s non-SORAS’d age.

I typically love the corniness of the Nurse’s Ball, but all of the numbers dragged, like, a minute too long.

Dante and Sam shared a brother and sister via each of their parents, so this is not that big of a deal to him.

Can he pass those braincells over to Lulu and Cody? Lulu, why are you making this so difficult? You don’t need to prove where a dead woman was 22 years ago. Just get a DNA test. You have an Olympic sized gene pool to swipe a sample from. Have Cody approach Gio, claim he sees a gray hair, and pluck it from him. Done. Moving on.

Wilmon was the easiest to hand wave for Scarif since he’s a mechanic and critical for maintaining the fleet. It did seem odd that they didn’t leverage his connection to Saw Gerrera for the Jedha op though.

I rewatched the movie last night and I was really impressed with this connection. Tarkin was talking about the Imperial pilot, Bodhi who defected from the Eadu site with Galen’s message, but now there was also the built in backstory of Krenic desperately trying to cover the growing cracks in the ISB. I will say that watching Rogue One after Andor, Vel’s absence on Scarif was felt. This was the exact type of mission she’d ride or die with Cassian on. Hopefully we’ll get a comic or something. It would have been cool if there had been a mid-credit scene in the finale of the Andor characters we never see again mobilizing for the battle to get an idea of what roles they played.

Jonathan Jackson’s deadpan laugh at the mention of Ric deserves all the awards.

Maybe the cousin was also pregnant and it could have been one of your regular, run of the mill Soap Opera still birth baby swaps. Happens all the time.

Overall, I liked it. I was surprised to see so many characters who don’t appear in Rogue One survive the series. I wonder if we’ll see Vel or Kleya pop up elsewhere (like we occasionally see Mon Mothma in Ahsoka.) I will say, while recasting the role was fine, I was disappointed in their use of Bail. This is a man who witnessed the atrocities at the Jedi Temple and has been quietly playing nice with the Empire ever since to protect his daughter. I didn’t sense that conflict at all. His entire arc seemed to play out as “the plot calls me to be here for this scene, so I am.” It’s too bad that Vivien Leigh Blair wasn’t quite old enough to work Leia into the story, but I understand that this story was a reprieve from the Skywalker family sucking up all the air in the galaxy. Leia getting involved in the rebellion along side Bail while he struggles with protecting her from the Emperor while at the same time fighting for what he knows is right would have been a great story.

He’s paying it forward from that time Virtue/Moir came out of retirement and took the Olympic gold so he had to skate another whole quad to get his.

No. All teams have to qualify for placement on the Olympic Team. The results of the 2026 National Championships will be the primary deciding factor along with recent international competitions. The fact that the Shibs won an Olympic medal 8 years ago doesn’t guarantee them a spot on the team. US Ice Dancing currently only has one competitive team, one somewhat competitive team, and a handful of middling teams so it’s a likely possibility they’ll qualify for the Olympic Team. It only feels like a dick move because Chock and Bates have been so shamelessly hanging around for their individual Olympic medal. I like them! I want them to get one! But they’re not entitled to one just because they skated the whole quad. It’s risky for the Shibs to throw their hat in this late in the game. They haven’t skated competitively in a long time and Chock and Bates will be the reigning world champions.

I’m pretty sure Willow thinks they slept together since she ran into the escort in their home and Drew was passed out naked in bed.

Van Hansis should win an Emmy purely for reaction shots.

That was so weird. Did she not push the plunger on the syringe? I was waiting for Brick to call Isaiah the digitalis whisperer. Like how do you know Sonny is fine, Brick? You didn’t even turn his monitors back on. I haven’t been very impressed with Gio’s actor, but he did surprisingly well today. Jane Elliott has done wonders to his performance.

lol, I also noticed he only thought about his beloved family members who were already appearing in today’s episode. Avery, Michael, Michael’s spawn, and Morgan aren’t getting any residuals for this one.
-
Cody is such a useless character but he has great natural chemistry with pretty much everyone he interacts with. I wish they’d figure out how to make him interesting. Speaking of pointless, why is Donna? She’s completely interchangeable with Avery, and I think even Carly forgets she’s her mother 99.9985% of the time.

Yay! Another project they’ll pretend never existed before next year! What happened to Rey’s new movie? Has that one already been shelved?
-
I’m not particularly a fan, but they just missed out on Billy Flynn, too, who just jumped ship from Days to Y&R.

IIRC Abbott was the exception to the “no cheering for non-Russians” rule because they felt so bad for his slap fest.

Time for important questions: which soundtrack will skaters hyper fixate on next year now that they’ve got Dune out of their systems. My money is on Wicked.
