  1. Molly and Cody depend entirely on the Ms Perfect/Ne’er do well trope, and it’s fine, but it feels forced. Cody had much better chemistry with Lulu and Molly with Isaiah, but what can you do? AH and DZ sparked quickly and Dante/Nulu are currently working for me. I still think there’s a chance for a Lulu/Cody fling when the Gio secret blows up, but they seem committed to this Molly pairing.
  2. The scene where Millie finally agrees to be treated by a doctor only for the doctor to tell them it’s too late was painful to watch. He spent the entire series begging his family to listen to medicine, and he’s the only one left to live with the consequences of their choices. At least Millie admitted to her followed that she had made mistakes, instead of Belle who continued to dig in her heels and dig herself deeper into her web of lies. Basically. When he was introduced he said he was pushing 40. Belle presented him with an instant family that he felt he was close to missing out on. He seemed to struggle with the human connection side of things, so Belle hitching her wagon to him with little pretense was his best chance for finding a life partner. Google tells me they’ve allegedly split in recent years.
  3. They’re chem testing Isaiah with anyone with a pulse. Fair. But she’s at least keeping it in the family. Drew is Lila’s grandson too. Kidding.
  4. If they are going to erect a set, by god are they going to use it. Earlier in the day, seemingly every character crossed through the Metro Court. Jason’s been home from Germany for 20 minutes and has already gone from the Qs to the Metro Court back to the Qs and then onto Charlie’s.
  5. “Jason is not the father.” “Then who is?” ”A ONS, random guy I met at a bar.” Then it’s smooth sailing until the baby has some rare medical disorder that requires a familial donor and none of the Scorpios are a match.
  6. Shall he now be known as LWexB?
  7. I googled “Why is Gio on GH?” about 6 months ago, and the AI response was that he was the secret son of BL and Dante. That’s how poorly kept this bombshell was.
  8. This series should have been longer so they could properly feature each era. I didn’t mind the concept of picking a single sketch or season to center the episode around, I just wish there were more episodes that hit on the series’ highs and lows. The cast auditions and writing cycle felt like a different doc. I would have liked an episode on the costuming department and the set designers and other parts of the production crew to showcase the process for the various sketches they’ve accomplished.
  9. Ric told Elizabeth she was in his top 3 favorite people. If Molly is number one, I wonder who is the other slot?
  10. This week’s episodes have been kind of fun. So many characters interacting and weaving in and out of other people’s scenes. It feels like they all live in the same community (except for Lucky and Liz.) Also, I know Carly and Lucas have never been close, but LW has fun sibling chemistry with nuLucas. Lucy wins today’s episode with her snarking about the number of people living at the Quartermaine mansion. Tracy’s a hypocrite in her treatment of Sasha and Willow, but it’s consistent with Tracy’s character to pick and choose her empathy. Besides, she couldn’t care less about Willow, she just hates Drew. There’s a lot of chem testing going on. A lot of musical couples on the horizon. Are the testing Maxie with Drew?
  11. The deception scene were a hoot! At one point, I couldn’t tell if AS was breaking, but she had the perfect “exasperated grandchild” reaction to Tracy’s griping. Also, Lulu dutiful taking notes, when again, all that was happening was Tracy complaining about inconsequential things.
  12. Hey, at least he went to Anna with his knowledge and isn’t trying to extort anyone to make a buck. That was my first assumption when he overheard the news.
  13. I think Ace Cassadine is the only one who passes the test.
  14. It would be hilarious if they carted CD out every few weeks to wake Michael up into excruciating pain just to ask him innocuous things. Example, Carly stating Michael’s favorite ice cream is mint chocolate chip, and Jocelyn saying it’s cookie dough, so they hop on a flight to Germany to wake him up and ask. Like Jason, chill the baby won’t be born for another 6 months.
  15. Seriously does she hear herself? Do the writers review their work with any level of self awareness? Sasha should be reluctantly empathetic of Willow’s situation or at least conflicted. Instead all we hear is how she needs to raise her baby on her own, while Willow is a monster for trying to protect her parental rights.
  16. I’ve been holding out hope that Cody was actually Gio’s father even though they’ve been heavily foreshadowing it’s Dante. But since they’re obviously pairing Gio with Emma, they wouldn’t do cousin lovin’ again so soon (even though they’d be second cousins.) DZ and AH are really breathing new life into Dante/Lulu. I’ve never cared for the pairing much, but they’re settling into a nice chemistry.
  17. Yeah, Jason is the most logical family member to inherit the house (assuming Monica is petty enough to write Drew out of her will, and what sort of familial connection she truly feels toward him.)
  18. They were clearly trying to recreate a classic screw ball Quartermaine squabble and I appreciate their effort, but the execution was not good.
  19. To be fair, the results in question are for a sperm count. I had routine fertility screening and this is exactly how I received the results, so the portrayal is actually on the fairly accurate side.
  20. Is there a reason why the SNL related specials can’t be in the SNL forum? Or a shortcut/redirect added at the forum level? They’re buried beneath multiple layers of genre and networks, which makes them difficult to find. Especially since the musical doc aired on NBC, but will probably be accessible via Peacock. This micro level of compartmentalizing for standalone specials makes this forum so hard to navigate (and I say this as a user whose been around since the TWoP days)
  21. I get that Drew is programmed with Jason’s memories, so it drives me even more crazy, because Jason would never have dwelled or thought twice about a lot of the inane details that Drew digs up.
  22. I’m going to defend GH, because the portrayal was fairly accurate. With online medical records, the patient often has access to test results before the doctor has even reviewed them. It’s not a diagnosis though. Just the raw numbers with expected ranges. The only reason Chase came to the conclusion that he was sterile was because Willow, who has some amount of medical training was able to interpret the results.
  23. They may actually grow closer due to this, since Lulu also had a teen pregnancy. I can’t remember all the details, but didn’t the Q’s try to intervene with her abortion?
  24. I’m kind of shocked they named Amber to the team in the first place. Definitely the right move. The worst thing would be to have Amber mentally blocked going into Worlds. I get what you’re saying, that Jason would basically be entitled to it, but I think it’s also a prestige thing. It would be an embarrassment to USFS to lose the third slot at something as big as the Olympics. I guess there’s an additional rule that all three skaters have to make it to the FS to qualify for the third slot, and Camden’s scores from for Grand Prix this season wouldn’t have qualified him for the free skate, while Jason’s (subpar) scores would have. So even with the Torg buffer of a Top 12 finish potential, they need skater #3 to make it past the short program.
  25. Chock and Bates are obviously bidding their time for the Olympics next season so they can finally get their individual medal and retire. I imagine they’ve been channeling all of their creativity into next year’s routines. Andrew Torgashev might be able to pull off a top 10 finish. He had a decent showing at his Grand Prix assignments this season.
