  1. There must be a OLTL pet left for FV to slip into the role. Which was the least annoying Ford brother?
  2. Maybe Michael will blackmail Drew into stepping down from congress and will get appointed to his seat. I wonder who they’ll try to get to fill the role, since he’s a pretty central character. Any late 30’s leading men seem bored? Maybe they can lure Scott Clifton back to play a different Quartermaine.
  3. I liked Christmas on Call too. I wouldn’t necessarily put it on my rewatch list, but I actually watched it all the way through and paid attention most of the time. They get extra points for properly portraying someone whose too busy to unpack their apartment. I also thought all the Eagles references were vague and unauthorized (the first Eagles sweatshirt looked really fake) but I guess it was a part of Donna Kelce’s Hallmark contract that she fairly represent both of her sons’ teams if she was going to do their Kansas City Chief’s movie. I have a feeling that Christmas on Call will be the better of the two.
  4. Scout insisted Drew would be commuting to DC, so the nanny.
  5. I’m surprised they haven’t been hinting at Willow being pregnant too. I’m calling it now. At Thanksgiving dinner, Willow and Sasha each slip away to the same spare bath to take their pregnancy tests and Willow finds Sasha’s positive test and thinks it’s hers and agonizes through dinner over who the father is.
  6. Here I was thinking Sasha’s morning sickness was going to be the main event of the Thanksgiving episode, but now we’ll also get to watch Jason quietly suffering through a Q family dinner.
  7. I’ve turned it into a (not actual) drinking game where I take a mental shot every time Kristina refers to baby Adela. Sonny and Joss actually looked uncomfortable when she did it today. Just call her Irene!
  8. It’s funny, they’ve been doing a better job at casting the couple when they’re the secondary characters. The Sabrina reunion movie was the same way.
  9. I kind of like the setup for this custody battle. Although, Danny’s probably too old for it to have a dramatic impact. It would be interesting to see Alexis fight to enforce the agreement, realize Drew is a total dick and then switch to Jason’s side, who would let the Davis-coven take on most of the parenting.
  10. This just reminds me of Larry and the hot but typo a billion years ago.
  11. Danny vaguely looks like 90’s era AJ without the pompous rich boy swag.
  12. These are high on my list too! I love Stacey Farber from her Degrassi days, and Kim Matula is a rising star! I’m kind of shocked they’re hiding her movie in a 6PM slot, although I guess European dogsled race isn’t the most mainstream holiday trope.
  13. I’m bummed, there’s usually 2 or 3 movies each year that make my rewatch list, but I’ve barely managed to even finish a movie this year. I’m hoping for a stronger second half. Reminder that Thanksgiving next week brings the double feature premieres, and some of the 6pm features actually look fun!
  14. I ended up liking Reason for the Season but not as much as I was hoping to. The leads had chemistry and actually seemed into each other, which is a huge plus, and the dialogue was pretty snappy. Their banter flowed well and was believable. My biggest gripe was the movie was obviously filmed in the diner from Riverdale, which gave the opening scene a really creepy vibe. When the doctor stepped aside to examine the baby and then announced she would personally drive her to the hospital, I was waiting for the group of friends to team up and kill the mom so they could steal her child. That show was crazy.
  15. The Trina/TJ scenes were kind of awkward because of their body positions and random bits of affection and I kept on wracking my brain trying to remember if they’re related. That was a weird take by the actors. And what was the last scene with Jason walking into Bobbie’s. The look he exchanged with Kristina, the emphasis of him reaching into his pocket, I thought he was coming to bring Molly a birthday present too.
  16. According to ChatGPT Gio is: Maybe Rena Sofer googled it.
  17. Jason actually exclaimed “What!?!” in an uncharacteristically bemused gossipy tone. Also Michael is such a loser he sent his uncle to fight his battles for him, as usual.
  18. They hold Sam’s memorial in the hospital chapel for… reasons. Mid-eulogy, a disoriented Lulu stumbles into the room in her hospital gown, somehow perfectly mobile.
  19. I’m still wondering why Doctor Gannon isn’t Doctor Tommy Hardy Jr…
  20. Give him the Sean Donnelly treatment while he’s still with us. Surely Kimberly McCullough would dust off her acting shoes to see him off!
  21. I like Sasha, but tying her to the Scorpios seems pointless. Marrying Cody would have given her the same connections. If Robin or Robert were still major players then yes, introducing a sister/daughter would open story potential. The best thing they could do with this revelation is to lean into Sasha’s con artist past, because the willowy victim isn’t working. Maybe she can fill the PI void that Sam left behind (run the pesky dog lady out of town.) It would be a good opportunity to chem test her with JJ.
  22. And what’s the point of making Sasha a Scorpio when Holly is only here temporarily and Tristan seems to be on his way out. I hope what actually happens is we learn Robert is not Sasha’s father after all, but his nostalgia inspires him to move closer to Robin so he can live his remaining years with his daughter and grandchildren.
  23. JJ and NAC both have bad timing. NAC is a classic late-90s/early-00s teen heartthrob, while JJ would have made bank as a Gen-Z icon today.
  24. I have high hopes for Thursday’s A Reason for the Season.
  25. I’m still way behind on catching up with the year’s crop, but I liked Holiday Mismatch. While the love story was sort of a back burner thing, the young couple had more chemistry and a more believable romance than most of the other movies this year.
