  1. Agreed. And Miggy was looking pretty fine in his suit too. I like that he is evolving as a character and maybe can move on from his baby mama.
  2. I liked this episode okay, except for Dre's annoyingness (which is par for the course it seems). I do wish they had at least mentioned the siblings since the actual death and funeral for Bow's dad was 5 minutes of one episode. I did like Bow's breakdown - TER does a good job with the serious stuff.
  3. Even though this was the 20th Marge-gets-a-job-and-then-never-mentions-it-again plot they've done, I enjoyed it. And the Amelie stuff was weird, but for some reason, I liked it too. Overall, a decent episode.
  4. Yeah, this trend of the "heroes" of shows treating nice people like crap is getting old. So many sitcoms do it now. I assume Jamie's character is supposed to be annoying, but he hasn't really come across as more than a little quirky but harmless. If they are going to be mean, give them a reason.
  5. Loved seeing Maxwell from the Nanny and Stephanie from Newhart. Julia Duffy was basically Stephanie today after a bitter divorce from Michael. I hope they come back at some point even if they were a bit mustache twirling in this one. While I like the bringing back to American cheese in the souffle, I did have to wonder how they didn't notice it was in there considering what foodies they were. Also, I wished it had been laxatives or something instead. But, it did seem very fitting.
  6. I did like this episode. Marge and Homer don't interact as much as a couple except when there is marital strife, so it was nice to see them as a team for the most part. The one thing that bothered me is Homer is well aware of self-driving tech when he took over for that truck driver. But, it is Homer and he probably lost those memories after a beer. Also, the talking tattoo thing reminded me that those exist in Futurama - wonder if that was intentional...probably not.
  7. Yeah I am totally confused on the school thing. I thought Sabrina would transfer there full time but still live at home and hang out with friends. So, I don't see how she can do both and how she can get a witches education only on the weekends. They needed to explain that better.
  8. I think the episodes do tend to run a bit long. And I just do not get what Wardell is up to. I'm sure it will all make sense at some point, but for now I'm lost (although I am loving MG chew up the scenery). And on a shallow note, hello Ambrose! Please be shirtless in your underwear more often.
  9. Yeah, admittedly he has some power, but he doesn't seem worse than most of the other villains. Hell, Gorilla Grodd could stomp on him and end it. I just don't get the never caught thing cause so far he is weak. Do love seeing Chris Klein though. Maybe he'll actually get some dialogue soon. Agreed on the lameness of Wells 6.0. I do not want to hear that tired accent for multiple episodes. I like TC a lot but he must have some naked pictures of the producers that forces them to keep writing him into the show. And why doesn't Iris just ask Nora why she's so distant? It's obviously not just wanting to be close to dad thing but she is downright shady. It's weird they let this slip over and over. Grow up!
  10. I was so excited when I heard the character was coming to the show and I usually like Rhona Mitra, but she is so one-note here. Partially the writing, partially acting choices. And it only took one rousing speech from her to convince Agent Whats-his-name to become a traitor? They should've built that up over more than one episode. And I know they probably couldn't get Callista Flockhart, but to not mention Cat with the whole President thing is weird, since I think she is her Press Secretary or Spokesperson or something like that. This episode was a little too parallel to real world and that bothered me. I know this show does that, but I feel this will go on for some time with Agent Sam Witwer and Mercy Scenechewer.
  11. I imagine we will see more of Biff, and since he's in the army, my guess is he will at some point become involved in the Time Bureau or something that puts him in change of Nate. Agreed. It was especially noticeable at Woodstock when he removed the coat but still had the tie. With him on the team maybe we will get some fun scenes of him having to dress undercover. This show is fun.
  12. Nightmare on Elm Street is so much my childhood. I was obsessed with those movies. I only wish this had been done several seasons ago, because this show it not so great anymore. Barry was MIA with no explanation, Erica was a monster, and the only good part was Robert Englund.
  13. Reminds me of my grocery store clerk days at Christmas where I heard the same songs about 5 times a day. Not every 10 minutes thank goodness! Yeah, her costume was something you can pick up at any Halloween store. Mateo's was hands down the best. I always like Jonah's lame costumes and this year was no different.
  14. Carla Gugino is just breathtaking. Woman does not age. Loved the caretakers story. Great scene. Did anyone see the woman in the background when young Hugh was inching towards the hole with the flashlight?
  15. I meant to talk about this in my earlier post. I didn't think it was terrible, but it was definitely off. It just didn't feel like black-ish for some reason. Everyone seemed half-hearted. Maybe after the drain of the separation story last year, my bearings are off, but it was a subpar episode to me.
  16. Stephen is an ass. I am liking him less with each episode. I hope he gets redeemed because his sanctimonious assery is annoying. I said it last episode but I want to adopt kid Luke. So cute And Magritte man was so creepy. I think this is the first episode I was genuinely creeped out for more than a jump scare. Well done scene
  17. They should've started the show taking place in the spring and have Junior defer then. It was silly. But this is TV world, so I have to let it go. As far as bedrooms, there is one for Bow/Dre, Jack/Junior, Diane, Devante and I think Ruby. I know she has been in the guest house, but I feel she also has a bedroom upstairs it seems - she's always up there. And does Pops live there or not? It's confusing but regardless, I think they could've shuffled a bit better.
  18. McKenna Grace (young Theo) is a really good actress. Seen her in several things (Gifted is a good film) and have liked her. Didn’t recognize her with brown hair at first but she definitely elevated the material. The foster plot reminded me of the new show Manifest where the characters have visions and stuff that lead to justice being served. I do like that each of these episodes focuses on one kid - it’s cool seeing the story from different viewpoints. I was worried it would all be about Stephen but he’s barely been in these last two episodes. And kid Luke is so frakking adorable.
  19. Agreed. I appreciate it, but it was FF material for me. Also, BOTW is Art's song and always will be and Paul's version was nice, but nothing special (ducking now to avoid the stones). Agreed that this episode was meh overall - most of the sketches fell flat for me. But, it went out on a high note with Kenan lamenting losing his Gucci shoes. That little bit was hilarious.
  20. Agreed. She totally needs an Emmy next year for this episode alone. Her storyline is the most riveting. I actually got emotional during the attempted rape scene. The girls playing the daughters were very good too. However, for a show called Jack Ryan, he was barely in this episode it seemed.
  21. I remember one season Nigel criticized Travis because the dance he choreographed wasn’t the style it was supposed to be. Travis looked pissed. I do not like Slavik. I think he is an okay dancer but I hate that he gets praised for “trying”. This is the top ten. No one should be so mediocre at this point. He was off a few times in the second dance and it was very noticeable to me. And I really appreciated Twitch actually, you know, judging this week. He gave some useful advice.
  22. I realize they didn’t necessarily intend to air these 2 back to back but it was weird to me how episode 9 was all about Michael staying with his dad and then in the very next episode off Vince goes (until he didn’t). Just seemed disjointed. I do like this show. Super unpopular opinion: I realize Michael is a caricature/stereotype but I think he’s funny and I laugh at his jokes. The thing about on fleek being out and then back in made me laugh. And total agreement to Matthew as MVP. If this show goes away as I expect it to I hope he lands on another show soon. He is funny and pretty - a nice combo.
  23. I totally have a hotmail account and I'm not ashamed. I have too many things connected to it to bother at this point. Of course I do have gmail too, so I'm not too antiquated. The orgy did make me laugh for some reason. Although in this day and age, geeks are in and I'm sure many of them have lots of sex.
  24. Diane from Black-ish!!! I enjoyed this episode. The changes to the play were funny and I like how Jackie and Lillian sold those tickets - they must've made some serious money at $100 a pop.
  25. I liked Doug the first time we saw him as the pet masseur but I wasn't into this episode. I assume this will lead up to the final showdown for Kimmy/the Rev (although I don't see Jon Hamm listed in any other episodes) which I am not looking forward to. I hate the Reverend character so having him be the focus while the characters I do like sidelined was not fun for me. I appreciate the way it mirrored many other documentaries (and the Titus cut aways were funny) but this is not one I will rewatch.
