  1. From that link: The pearl-clutching over a few people saying "shit" was ridiculous.
  2. It would also affect Sabrina's story too much, and we can't have that.
  3. That wasn't at all unusual back in the early '80s. Women entered the work force in large numbers, but they were still expected to take care of the kids and household. Joe was more interested in any sort of publicity (though hopeful it wouldn't be absolutely terrible) than he was anything else. And I think the lead time of both the project and when the article would appear would ensure that no one else could get a jump on their own version. Also, it seems everyone thinks the Cardiff folks are nuts for trying to do this anyway, so other companies might not do anything until Cardiff is proven successful. As smart as she is, Donna's job possibilities in IT are pretty limited, I think, which is one reason she needs to keep the one she has at TI. I don't think there needs to be. The cops owed John a favor; Joe was driving too fast in a flashy car and is obviously an outsider. That seems enough of a reason to me without adding in gay-bashing.
  4. Could Donna be more awesome? Her takedown of Cameron, who richly deserved every word of it, was magic. I also loved Donna schooling the other engineers and Gordon getting totally turned on by it. Cameron, ugh. They're working way too hard to make her edgy, rebellious, and troubled. I have mixed feelings on the cops beating up Joe. On the one hand, rogue cops and police brutality are never good. On the other, Joe needed to be taken down a peg or five.
  5. Are they contractually obligated to be there? Seeing friends and colleagues can't be reason enough to want to go, and the show itself is a joke.
  6. The smattering of applause when they came out was cringe-inducing. That thing has a lower budget than an episode of GH. Yikes.
  7. Our Chesapeake Bay retriever was being a dog and once caught a baby rabbit. Being a retriever, she mouthed it but didn't kill it, so my dad had to give it the coup de grâce. That bird scene brought it all back.
  8. JT looks like he's being held hostage and is blinking SOS to the viewing audience.
  9. I saw an ad for that NoNo razor thing Kassie pushes, and she was called a DOOL actor. I was surprised it was changed so quickly, though since OLTL isn't around, I guess it makes sense.
  10. Sam's already slept with Sonny and his brother. She doesn't need to add his son to the mix.
  11. All the sets looked like distinct places, unlike, say, the apartments on GH, which look like the same place with slightly different furniture.
  12. Does she realize she's actually on a date, or does she think it's just a friend get-together?
  13. I think three people on the couch is exactly the right number, so Button's absence was felt. As a woman, I find men's reluctance to get prostate exams amusing. One finger? Try having a speculum, hands, and swabs all up in your business, and then we'll talk. I love Graham's fondness for New Zealanders.
  14. i hope Helena slits her throat when she finds out this peasant is involving the Cassadine heir in her childish pathetic schemes. I hope Helena slits Spencer's throat. I do NOT want more of him onscreen.
  15. It's like they forget people have watched TV before.
  16. This has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with whether Maxie would be a good mother to her child. Neither does her marital status.
  17. Oh, FFS. People are never going to stop wanting Burton back at GH as Jason, so they'll read anything into every interview he ever gives. As long as Frank won't give him the scheduling flexibility he wants (and that JFP gave him at Y&R), I highly doubt he'll return. Unless GH gets canceled and there's one last hurrah.
  18. Georgie is Maxie's baby; I'd say she's entitled to see her immediately. Full custody? Maybe not just yet, but to keep Maxie from seeing her baby at all is cruel. Maxie isn't a drug addict or alcoholic; she's a somewhat selfish, self-involved twit with bad taste in men. By any of those standards, no woman in Port Charles should have custody of her children. Same here. I think they still haven't figured out how to adjust to high-def. The lighting keeps changing, and that plays havoc on getting makeup right.
  19. Good lord, Silas is a dumbass. Nina is practically waving a sign that says "I'm manipulating you in the most passive-aggressive way I know," and he doesn't see it. Dante, send Olivia to see Avenue Q. She might learn something. I thought Sam's dress was a little young for her. Same here. Ron can't pace anything properly. Didn't Madeline admit to having Silas's place trashed? Not that it can't be retconned, but I thought we did get an answer for that. Nick Chinlund. He's a Hey! It's That Guy. He's done a ton of stuff. He played a really inept defense lawyer on L&O once and it was very amusing.
  20. If Vic and Walt hook up on the show, they're both idiots. But it's not Walt's job to make sure Vic keeps her wedding vows. That's entirely on her. She doesn't like her marriage? Get counseling or a divorce. But don't expect me to feel sorry for her or cut her any slack if she cheats. With anybody.
  21. ulkis, who is your dream bean-spiller? Sonny in a fit of pique? Drunk Carly?
  22. I know. He's the only one who's had any genuine happy reaction to Nina being back. And instead of ragging on Silas to take care of her, Nathan should help out. He needs to use some of his seemingly ample time off to take Nina outside. Park her by a bench while he takes his shirtless runs. I'm sure she'd enjoy the change of scenery.
  23. Why you be hatin' on sick people that way? I'm totally onboard for Levi being dead, though. Totally onboard. Not at all. I hate her regardless, but I hate her with less bile when she's not a dewy doormat. I hate doormats, period. A decent haircut and the right amount of scruff work miracles on just about any dude.
  24. I don't think Jakes legally (like it matters on this show) gave up his parental rights; I think he removed himself from his son's life because of his undercover work. Now he's wanting to make up for that lost time and is asking to be a part of his son's life. But his ex is making things difficult. (If they're going to demonize her, it would help to put across her POV more clearly. I don't need to agree with her, but I'd at least like to know her reasons for being such a jerk.) Agreed. His kid didn't even know who he was. He called the other guy Dad. Jakes should have spoken with a family-law attorney before starting any of this; at least that way he'd know what his rights are. He's been naive.
