  1. Patrick made it clear he would support the baby in every way he could; why does it matter what the baby's last name is? Drake is the baby's middle name, so it's not as if there's no acknowledgement. I don't know; there were an awful lot of remarks on how well the baby was doing. That's usually what happens before things go south. Three different chocolate fountains sounds AWESOME. Brad is a cranky old crab. Nina, Nina, Nina! [/Jan Brady] All we hear about is Nina. WE NEVER CARED. I like Britt and Nathan, too. They have a nice sibling vibe. I also like that she seems to have learned from her experiences. I'm sure it won't last, given that Ron is anti-development, but I'll enjoy it while I can.
  2. TBH, I'm not sure we're supposed to hate Levi, at least not yet. We're supposed to think of him as the serene hippy who's helped Maxie regain her emotional balance, not the controlling asshole who's shutting down her life. Not that Ron cares, since Levi is just another cog in the plot-point machine.
  3. Are we supposed to hate Rafe for going crazyballs or feel sorry for him because of his tragic childhood? He's blander than white bread no matter what, so I can't muster up any feelings for him. I hate the time devoted to him because there are so many other things that could be focused on, but the character himself is total dullsville.
  4. The instant she spoke those words. Then it was over. He's had a lot of women he's loved. It has to be hard keeping track of all those names.
  5. Silly renard, the night shift is their family! Which is yet another thudding cliché. Was a condition of getting this show on the air that they check off every possible cliché? I'm going to enjoy hate-watching this.
  6. If De Niro's in the right mood, tonight will be fun. I find Gervais hit or miss, too; he and Jon sometimes get too insidery for me. Cruise always tries too hard, and that creeps me out. He so aggressively wants to be liked.
  7. Oh, man, that interview. So much bullshit from both of them. MW is a good team player, I'll give her that.
  8. I know. When she asked her husband to look at the Speak and Spell and he said it was her department, I thought, "Whoa, here's the more interesting partner in this marriage." I raised an eyebrow at her, too. This show sort of feels like a (very) poor man's second cousin to the late, very lamented Rubicon. I'll give HaCF a few more episodes, but they need to ratchet up the suspense or something to keep me interested. Simply reverse-engineering an IBM computer isn't enough to hang the show on. Here's hoping the show can take that somewhere more fruitful.
  9. Per my cable guide, "Levi and Mac have a tense run-in" on Wednesday. I hope Mac punches him in the throat. I hate Levi more than I hate Sabrina, which is saying something.
  10. Bosephus kind of creeped me out, but I love that the catfishing model knew he was really a she but thought Emma was a man. The show always needs more Keegan-Michael Key.
  11. Trevor and Kate weren't really a couple when they were in PC, though. He may have wanted to start things up again, but at that point she saw him as her backer/mentor only. They seemed to be on fairly good terms. (Poor Stephen Macht. Another good actor whose character had to be sacrificed on the altar of Sonny and Jason.) And as TeeVee329 pointed out, why would he know about Luke for years before? Trevor would have consider Luke a two-bit punk, which is basically what he's always been.
  12. Even if I hated actors on GH, I'm always glad to see them do well away from it. I have the idea that Frank and Ron try to blacklist anyone who leaves the show, so subsequent success is a nice finger to them. (I'm sure it's not true, but it's satisfying to think it is, since we know how petty Ron is on Twitter.)
  13. I wonder if that's how they usher off TeCa for her mat leave: She goes to Puerto Rico to grieve. More likely they'll send her to Fern Cliffe, since the wimmins be cray-cray when it comes to babies. He's been gone for so long I had to stop and think what those flashbacks would be to. Can't he just stay offscreen forever? The actor is hopeless, and the character is a waste of space.
  14. I like Better Than Bouillon, too, but they're right that it can be salty. Unfortunately, there's no lower-sodium option. My mom has a little Weber charcoal grill, and she makes sure to either clean it after it's been used or when the grill is hot but she hasn't put the food on yet. She never grills anything too messy, so it's not that big a chore.
  15. Oh, lord. A second season of "Dumb Women, Dumber Choices." Is it asking too much to hope the ladies have learned something from past mistakes?
  16. You might be overbeating the batter, which develops the gluten in the flour and can make the finished product on the rubbery side.
  17. Paraphrasing Alexis, to Ric: "I've had both of you, and yours is bigger."
  18. I loved the running joke of Julie Andrews and Jonah Hill being engaged. I'd love to hear her and Florence Henderson (a.k.a. Mrs. Brady) in a swear-off. You know they'd both have a huge vocabulary. Hee.
  19. Oh, I totally agree. I couldn't care less if one or both of them die. I was just answering the question in the abstract.
  20. If you kill a woman who's pregnant, you might also kill the baby, so it's two for one, as it were. Kill a woman after giving birth and it's just the woman.
  21. Wow, so, so bad. If the hospital is in such grave financial straits, WTF is it doing with a helicopter? Wouldn't that be one of the first things to go? Every character is the worst cliché.
  22. Hee. I want this to happen so hard. I feel sort of bad for Dante's sake, but Lulu is being such a baby-rabies dumbass about it. Plus, I'M SO TIRED OF BABIES on this fakakta show.
  23. I don't know. The fact is, Julian did tell Anna that Ric was his boss. Alexis will find that out sooner or later, making Julian's hair-splitting moot, I think. I also think that once she calms down about Ric, she'll be mad that Julian didn't tell her Ric was his boss. Julian knows Ric is her ex. He said he didn't when Ric supposedly first approached him, but that was then. When does anyone learn anything on this show? It's one of my bigger pet peeves. But in this case, Carly will use the age-old excuse that she wasn't saying anything to protect Michael. It wasn't about Sonny, it was about Michael, that fragile little snowflake. He was already reeling from AJ's death; did he really need to know one father shot the other? Ugh.
  24. I bet Ava will lose the baby (mistairrage?) but pretend to still be pregnant long enough for Sonny to get distracted—maybe FakeLuke will finally actively go after him—and Ava can somehow worm her way out of things. Or maybe Julian will finally shoot her. Who knows. Bottom line, I think this baby is a tock.
  25. Isn't the damage already done? Ric was arrested, and the proof is pretty tight (so far). Admitting he lied will anger Alexis, and Anna probably wouldn't be too thrilled, either. If he didn't name Ric, FakeLuke would have undoubtably found another way, and Alexis would still be upset.
