  1. Riggs definitely carries his gun that way due to his Special Forces (Seal) training. Keanu Reeves uses this stance a lot in the John Wick movies. If you have seen the videos of him doing the courses with live ammo, he has real skills and it is pretty impressive. I believe it is for close quarters combat.
  2. CT and Bananas do not hate each other outside the show at all. They get along fine. Just they are both very competative and they have each one upped the other at times so they are often on opposite sides on the show but they could be considered friendly outside the show and have respect for each other for the most part. I mean CT doesn't really have any real friends on the show but as far as cast members go, he gets along with him fine when not competing.
  3. The Bananas backpack is easily the best moment in Challenge History.
  4. I definitely prefer a younger doctor. Not too young but no older than mid 30's to 40-ish. I am middle aged myself, I don't want to see people my age or older on adventures. Takes me out of the show to see older people doing stuff that only young people can really physically pull off even if it is aliens. I know the actors are old so I cannot suspend my disbelief enough. Just my own preference. Of course I grew up with Tom Baker, Colin Baker, and Pete Davidson as my Doctors and even though TB and CB were already 40, they acted and looked much younger. I loved Christopher Eccleston who was 40 too when he got the role. Basically I hope it is someone between 30 and 40 if I had my way. I would absolutely welcome a woman doctor too as long as the same age bracket is in effect. I really don't have any interest in watching Grandma or Grandpa Who.
  5. And more Clarke cleavage. No need to hide such a beautiful thing.
  6. I thought Candace Patton is normally decent but she cannot cry realistically. That scene took me right out of the show it was so bad. Not sure whether she had an off day or the director sucked, but that scene was awful.
  7. it is funny that Barry and now Wally regularly get their asses kicked before they finally manage to defeat the villian of the week, yet Thawne has none of that type of weaknesses shown onscreen. I hate writing like this.
  8. Did anyone think the little thing with the blanket at the end was an improv by Chris Wood and a genuine laugh by Melissa and they just kept rolling? Seemed that way to me.
  9. I have to confess that I missed the scene where Jamie Kennedy was shown as the killer and had gotten sick from the vials when I posted my question regarding his role. So when I posted my comments, the only scene I thought he was in was at the pool party and his character had no further involvement in the show. Since I have now re-watched the ending I see that the role was the typical guest villain role albeit smaller than some but now it makes sense. There may have even been more stuff deleted for time based on his being the actual killer. As someone who loved the Scream series plus have seen many of JK roles over the years, he seemed a much bigger star than anyone on the cast to me but I guess he hasn't done much recently. I knew of LG due to her being on H50 where she was hated by fans, DB Woodside from Buffy and 24, and L-AB from Spartacus but I had never seen or heard of Tom Ellis prior to Lucifer.
  10. Yes but that was a big role and important to both the episode and the overall arc of the show. JK's character had 3 minutes of screen time and had zero impact on the episode. You could have taken his role out and would have made zero difference.
  11. I think his wife doesn't like him going. I know she was very jealous and hated other female cast members because she thinks they either hooked up or were trying to hook up with Derrick in the past. Then he had his kid and had to get a real job and wanted to be home for that and not risk taking time off. He also took a long break from Twitter but is back on and will retweet stuff about wanting him back on the show. I think he might have got an availability call for this past season but things didnt work out for whatever reason. he may be open to coming back if things line up.
  12. Also with regards to the negative comments about the looks of Lucifer's lovers both here and other sites, I think that best looking doesn't always translate to sexiest. For example I think Fairuza Balk is way sexier than Jessica Alba despite not being nearly as conventionally pretty. I mean Jessica Alba is extremely pretty but just not that sexy. I would imagine the actresses that were cast were the ones who came off the sexiest in both manner and personality in the casting process. I mean they were all TV attractive just not supermodels. Honestly a lot of supermodels come off as pretty sexless despite their physical attributes. Sexiness is undefinable and not always equal to the level of conventional ideas of physical beauty. JMO though.
  13. Anyone else surprised that Jamie Kennedy didn't turn out to be the villain or at least have more scenes? Seems kinda like a cameo almost that any bit actor could play with no effect on the show. Struck me as funny that someone who has worked so long and been the lead or near the top in some movies and shows would take such a nothing role. Took me out of the show a bit.
  14. I am liking the show. Only person I knew of in the cast is Sofia D'elia-Black who I have liked in other stuff she has done and I think she is good here as well. I actually thought the lead was the wife on The Grinder at first but apparently they just look similar. I am in for now.
  15. This was a must watch episode of television. Brutally hard to watch at points, but one of the realest most effective depictions of sexual assault and it's aftermath. I just want to hug my 17 year old daughter and never let go. She goes of to college next year and I am praying she never had to deal with anything close to this. As a male survivor of both molestation and rape, I can attest to the fact that it never goes away completely. The physical acts were not nearly as damaging as the mental and emotional damage left behind. I am in my mid-40s now and I still don't trust anyone on any deep level. This show felt realer that almost anything I have seen before as it avoided the exaggerations or overly dramatic scenes that a lot of entertainment movies/shows seem to feel the need to portray assaults of this type. This episode elevated this fantasy vigilante show with a message to a must watch expose on "date" rape that is such a risk for kids at college especially in my opinion.
  16. I loved this episode as I love all things super power related. Fun with the right amount of humor. Might be my favorite Xmas special. Plus I miss Charity Wakefield since The Player was cancelled. I don't like the choice of companion from the preview as I find her voice irritating and she is more Donna Noble than Amy Pond/Clara Osgood/RoseTyler/Martha Jones looks wise. Sorry for being shallow but I do like some eye candy on my shows and while Peter Capaldi and Matt Lucas are certainly entertaining and some may find attractive in their own right, they don't meet that particular quotient for me. Hopefully the trailer impression I got will be proven wrong.
  17. Just found out that Ophelia is played by Bryan Cranston's daughter but she uses her middle name (Mom's maiden name) professionally. Not really relevant to the show but interesting trivia.
  18. How many episodes are there? I like the green as well.
  19. I just can't with the actress who plays the wife. She ruins an already terrible show. Not that another actress would have made this show amazing but she is awful and has been in everything I have ever seen her in.
  20. Anyone wonder what kinda information JLC has over RM? I mean Dean Munch is the smartest, luckiest, never loses, apparently the sexiest and the best ever at the sex so much that no male can resist her and all choose her over any other female on the show despite looking like a lesbian grandma who needs Depends and JLC is now directing an episode that is basically all about the unfettered sex appeal of someone nearing retirement age? Don't get me wrong I love JLC and think she is beautiful and have since Halloween but this might be the most unrealistic thing in an extremely unrealistic show. Although maybe that is the point? To subvert everything and not just horror movie tropes?
  21. I view the backstory of this show as I do on every single fictional show I watch. They all take place in an alternate universe with its own rules and laws of physics, nature, etc. This allows me to enjoy pretty much every show without getting caught up in comparing it to real life and how something can happen since it isn't realistic or different from reality. Just say to your self "In this world/universe, this is how it is and this is possible" as a mantra. It helps immensely.
  22. Thanks for the response. My point was that as I have been put down for not being handy and called not a man as a result the wording just caught me off guard. If it had been worded as something like "I appreciate that my partner knows how to fix things so we don't have to spend money on stuff that we can do" it wouldn't have stuck a chord. I read it as women like men who do "men" things like fix stuff which as I stated is probably me being oversensitive to my specific situation. I loved that my ex did all that stuff. She still does it now with her new husband. But I was ridiculed by family and friends for years about it. It is one of the reasons I am still single now as I don't feel I have much to offer as I do not fit the stereotypical "male" gender role with regards to fixing things or doing all the typical stuff boyfriends/husband have historically done. I wasn't attempting to call you out or anything. I apologize if I offended. Totally agree about the snootiness from the characters on the show.
