I’m sad. The PBS station where I watch Death in Paradise is still showing reruns. I was all set for another murder on St. Marie.

We did the Price is Right Live tour last year. The prizes were a trip to Vegas, a Roomba-style vacuum cleaner, a car, and one other thing. One woman bid $30,000 and the other bid $5,000. I'm in Canada and the first bidder is from the US, so she was actually over (probably because she was trying to figure out the exchange rate and messed up). The amazingly low bid won. Who'd have thunk it?

Adelaide is the capital of South Australia. It’s about the size of Winnipeg (for my fellow Canadians). Port Pirie is small. I never went there. I’m a city mouse, not a country mouse.

If it was a French Immersion trip leaving from BC, Canada, then it just might be! I hope that your daughter is doing ok. I’m sad that we weren’t able to go, and I know that the students must be doubly so.

I was supposed to be chaperoning a trip to Senegal over Spring Break with my school. I was really looking forward to trying the food that Eric has been talking about.

Thanks for the podcast recommendation. As a Canadian, I knew of her, but knew very little about her. I really enjoyed the series, and quickly binged it.

If it’s any consolation, while I wasn’t quite failure level, I sucked at sewing. Guess who’s now a high school Home Ec teacher? I tell my students all the time how much I sucked, and remember how it felt to struggle.

I’m pretty sure Christian said that the show was held in the same location where his show was held. I know they mentioned the name of a location, but it wasn’t a high school gym. ETA: the location was Spring Studios

About to start a 2- week Spring Break, and since I’m staying at home, I’m seriously considering trying to make a version of her dress. It was hands down the best thing on the runway. I was shocked that Geoffrey won, but he is a good choice as he’ll take advantage of the mentorship offered to him. Unlike others, I liked the puffy coats. They may not be wearable, but they were fun to watch and put a much needed smile on my face.

Though the blonde is a fellow Home Ec teacher, so I’m partial to her, as well as my fellow Canadian contestants. I feel you on not being a huge fan of fault line cakes.

My PVR marked this as a repeat, so I missed the first part of the show. As a kid who wore some horrible glasses, I would have loved some cool glasses options.

I have to laugh at Sergio’s kombucha fabric in his tub. I tried making some with my students last year.it stunk something awful, and could hardly sew it.

I just received a FB friend request from some random man, who is a doctor (or at least his photo has him in scrubs), and is a widower. I'm so tempted to reply to see what happens and how long until he declares his undying love for me. I don't think that Mr. Hula-la would approve (even if it was for research--he was watching yesterday and yelling at the tv along with me).

Because no music video has ever put in a beautiful woman instead of someone else (C+C Music Factory to start).
